Chapter 36
—. Jimmy Chase.-
The sun pierced through the curtain as he groaned bitterly and disgusted.
He propped up from his bed, which was completely messed up. He was not just any young man but today, his life, his long hidden identity was going to be unveiled.
“Young master, your bathtub is set, and your maids await you!!” The old lady muttered as she bowed her head.
His back, his arms, they both bulged with so much strength in them. His muscles were well groomed.
Jimmy Chase was a vampire-werewolf hybrid and the son of a powerful warrior. He wasn't opportune to see his mother, but the tales he heard, he inherited her dark green eyes, and he took the body stature and strength of his father.
He was sent away to live a normal life with his uncle far away, and he was groomed there. A great martial art student with a fierce strength.
He turned around to look at the maid who had interrupted his peaceful sleep, his gray eyes were deadly and piercing that the lady trembled in utmost fear.
“Please young master, spare my life. I was ordered by your uncle to come get you ready, as today is a great day.” She stuttered, maintaining a steady posture.
Her voice was a bit cracked, in a sobbing tone.
“Get lost!!” He growled angrily as she rushed out immediately, saying no other word to him.
“Jimmy, come on boy, get up and go wash yourself. Her father awaits you as you are now fit to return.” His uncle muffled in a hoarse voice.
“I'm just 18, and you don't expect me to be so excited about the man who sent me away when I was merely an infant.” He cursed as he stood up.
He picked up a neatly folded white towel as he tied around his waist and walked into the bathroom.
His whole life, everything he had, all come freely. He lived in luxury and today, he would be living with the werewolves he grew up with to return to his father's house.
“Your mother would be proud of you, and you know that, and in no way would she have cursed your father for the decisions he made? He was only looking after you."
“Looking after me, oh spare me that, uncle. If he had loved me as he claimed to, he would have kept me by his side and today, who knows, I could have been a better warrior!!” Jimmy scoffed as he went naked and walked into the bathtub.
The maids started scrubbing his body and within a few minutes, he was done.
They treated his skin for the last time and trimmed his hair before packing it in a bun.
His ebony hair was so appealing and a bit oily and soft. Which could be compared to cotton.
“In an hour's time, your father would be here, and all I demand from you is good behavior. Why do I feel that all I ever did was to spoil you and make you."
“A mannerless brat!!” He completed his uncle's statement with a smirk.
“I don't want to return to the vampire race, I am a hybrid and I can choose where I wish to belong to!!” He snarled, and the maids who were getting him all set froze immediately.
“Weaklings!!” He scowled as he stared at his uncle. “Edith Ellsworth walks freely all of a sudden and his dirty past seems to be forgotten or should I say forgiven!!” He grunted as he stood up angrily.
He was neatly dressed in a black long sleeve shirt which had three up buttons opened, exposing his chest a bit and a well ironed black trousers and a black shoes with a black and red socks.
Furthermore, he wore his brown diamanté wristwatch which was approximately 1.30 dollars. A birthday present he got from his uncle.
He sighed as he hugged his uncle, who was long expecting a hug for getting him such an expensive wristwatch.
“Breakfast is ready, master!!” The head chef muttered as she bowed her head before leaving the two of them alone.
“Why does father want me back now??” He finally asked what had been bothering him.
He was long forgotten and today, his father sends a message stating how he has missed a young teenager who he knows absolutely nothing about.
“I guess only him has an answer to your question, Jimmy.” His uncle smiled shortly as he looked at him.
“All I know is, your father is a good man. He may seem rash with his decision, but ever since your mother died, he never remained the same.” His uncle said in a low tone as he led the way to the dining, ushering Jimmy to his seat.
“Your father must have a reason for his decision, and you must not be a nuisance to him. He is still your father, Jimmy.”
“Okay! Okay!! Okay!! I've heard, cool. I know you would support him. He is my father and I have to be a good boy.” He scoffed as he ate his food and the dining room went completely silent as he said no extra word but rather, waiting to see the man who he knows nothing about come take him to a strange place he called home.
Their breakfast was paused as Ryan Chase drove into the wide compound.
He glanced around the compound as he was still amazed at how Jefferson had maintained such a beautiful place.
“Oh! Ryan, we finally meet again.” Jefferson stretched his hand for a handshake.
They both smiled as they shook hands together. “I see, you really have a wild eye for nature. Reminds me of her!!” He said in a low tone as he saw Jimmy walk through the pillars.
“Is he excited to come home with me?” He asked Jefferson, who smiled briefly as he turned to look at Jimmy.
“Yeah, he is a bit stubborn, but I think you have a chance here to take him with you.” Jefferson whispered as he embraced Ryan.
“And I think you have to tell him the truth about his mother now. He seems to love his mother every single day, I can't say why, but this might be your only chance if you want him back to you!!” Jeff whispered before letting go of Ryan.
Jimmy stood behind the last pillar as he scanned through the compound and three heavy guarded cars were parked and Ryan was standing at the front of the vehicles.
He saw the striking resemblance but still, he couldn't let go of the hate he had towards his father.
He despised his father so much and right now, if he had the chance to have a hand-to-hand combat with his dad, he would willingly do so.
“Come on, Jimmy. Won't you embrace your father after 17 years of not seeing?” Ryan mumbled as he spread his arm.
“You're nothing but a pathetic fellow." He scoffed as he stepped out into the open.
