Kydence was sitting in the living room when the doorbell rang, the omega that was assigned to tend to the house answered the door. She was handed an envelope and said thank you. “Hey Sadie, who was that?” Kydence asked as she looked up from the file she was reviewing.

“Alpha Kydence this invitation was dropped off for you.” Sadie said, handing Kydence the envelope.

“Thank you, Sadie, and please just call me Kyde. We aren’t big on formalities unless we’re in formal settings.” Kyde told her.

Sadie chuckled, “that’s what the King and Queen tell us also but it’s VERY hard not to use your titles when it’s been it’s been stressed your whole life. Some of the younger pups have become accustomed to using their names but I have tried, and I am unable to.” she said still chuckling. “If there’s nothing else you need, I will be getting back to work.” She bowed.

“No, I’m good. Thank you.” Kyde smiled, Sadie bowed and exited the room. Kyde was lazily sitting around enjoying the calm before the crazy storm starts. Dakota was out training with the others, Keane, KC and Kolby were roaming around getting to know the area.

“Kyde.” Diamond said.

“Yeah?”

“Does this mean we can start thinking about having a few pups?” Diamond asked with hearts in her eyes.

Kyde giggled, “let’s get settled and get everyone here then we can think about it.” Diamond pranced around in a circle, laid down, curled up into ball and fell asleep.

She was already starting to review the files that Reign and Storm sent over for cases that would need her attention once they dealt with Burican, Max and Eric. She wanted to get ahead, so she was familiar with the cases when they were presented to her. She was deep in thought when she heard loud talking and laughing coming from the kitchen.

“Sounds like our mate is home with the Tweedle twins.” Diamond sleepily chuckled.

“It’s amazing how that nickname has stuck.” Kyde chuckled.

“If the name fits.” Diamond giggled. Before Kyde could respond Kasper and Kruz stood behind her on each side and proceeded to rub their stinky selves all over her.

“EEEEEEEEWWWWWEEEEE…you are DISGUSTING!” She yelped. “You have your mates for this!” she continued. “Now, I NEED to shower, and change thank to you two numbskulls. Your stink is all over me.” she said, scrunching her face in disgust.

“You don’t complain about Koda’s stink.” Kruz playfully pouted.

“He’s, my mate. I’m supposed to have his stink on me.” She grumbled at them. “You’re my brothers, I don’t need your stink on me.” She said as she gathered all her paperwork up, "I’m gonna go shower and change to get your stink off of me.” she said, as she playfully growled at her brothers.

“You know you LOVE us!” Kasper and Kruz yelled back at her.

“If you say so.” She giggled as she walked to her room. All she heard was them teasing her and just being her stupid brothers.

She sighed with a smile as she walked into her room and put her things down on her desk. She heard the bathroom door open and looked to see her mate standing there with his towel wrapped low around his waist, showing off his delicious V line. He has a little patch of hair around his belly button, and it leads down to the promise land.

“Keep looking at me like that and we will NOT make it to dinner or breakfast.” He smirked at his mate.

“You think you’re so hot, don’t you?” she asked, narrowing her eyes at her mate. “All the females falling at your feet when you flex your muscles. What does your mate think of all that? she asked with her own smirk.

“She’s not bothered by it all.” He said wrapping his arms around her waist. “She knows that I only have eyes for her and that I only belong to her and no one else.” He purred in her ear.

KNOCK, KNOCK. They both growled in unison. “GO AWAY!” They said at the same time.

“Sorry but lunch is ready.”

They both looked at each other, “is that?” Kyde asked untangled herself from her mate to open the door. “Kruz?” she asked, looking confused at her brother.
“The last I checked.” He chuckled. “Why? Were you expecting someone else?”

“No, but you actually knocked and didn’t storm in like you normally would.” she said, scrunching her nose at him.

“Yeah well,” he said blushing, “didn’t really want to see what I saw the last time. I don’t want to hafta gouge my eyes out again.” He said and was red as a beet by now.

Dakota had been trying to keep from laughing but he couldn’t help himself. “Not a way you ever thought you’d see your sister, huh?” He said between snickers.

“Please don’t remind me.” Kruz cringed. “Knocking has been the best thing I have learned to do.” He shrugged with a snort.

“I kept telling ya.” Kyde kept chuckling.

“Are ya c’ming or not?” He huffed.

“Not anymore we’re not.” Dakota roared in laughter as Kruz cringed and darted outta the room.

“Awe! Really?! She’s, my sister!” Kruz yelled out as he hurried to the kitchen.

Dakota was still laughing as Kyde closed the door, “you just love doing that don’t you?” She laughed.

“He brings it on himself.” Dakota laughed put on his socks.

“I need to change my shirt and wipe my face. I still have his and Kasper’s stink on me.” She scrunched her face walking into the bathroom. “Why don’t you go, and I’ll be out in about five minutes or so.” She told him.

“Don’t take too long.” He said kissing her forehead. “Oh, and we will continue this later.” He told her wiggling his brow at her.

“Promise?”

“Oh yeah.” He said and slapped her ass making her squeak with surprise. Diamond purred at her mate.

Before Kyde walked out of her room, she remembered the envelope that was delivered earlier. She opened it on her way to the kitchen. “Hey sis, whacha lookin’ at?” Kasper asked shoving food in his mouth.

Kydence scrunched her face at him, “you are so gross.” She shuddered, making Kasper shrug at her.

Dakota chuckled, “what’s in the envelope?”

“Not sure yet, it was dropped off earlier today and I didn’t have a chance to open it.” She said, as she carefully opened the envelope. She read through it, “Oh, King Damien and Queen Reign are going to be taking SilverHawk to the areas for the packs and have asked us to join so we can see our new territory.”

“When are they going?” Kolby asked, she was perched on Hunter’s knee. He was offering her a bit of his sandwich which she gladly accepted.

Kyde continued to read the letter, “looks like tomorrow afternoon, we can meet them at the castle, in the morning.”

“Yeah, sounds good to me.” Dakota said pulling Kyde onto his lap.

“You males do know that we, females, can sit on our own, right?” She asked raising her eyebrow at her mate.

“Yeah, but we prefer to have you sit with us.” Kota said nuzzling his mate’s hair.

“You all of you are totally ridiculous? We can sit with you without sitting on your lap.” Kolby giggled as she rolled her eyes. They all went back n forth about how all the males were going all Alpha male on them.

“So, what do you wanna do today?” Keane asked.

“I need to contact Reign and let her know that we’ll be joining them tomorrow.” Kyde said.

“Excuse me, Alpha Kyde,” Sadie called, “there’s a phone call for you, it’s her Majesty Queen Reign.”

“Oh, she beat me to the phone.” She smiled as she tried to loosen Kota’s hold on her. “Ko, I need to go and talk with Reign.” She scolded him.

He didn’t even answer her, he stood up with her still in his arms, bridal style. “Dakota Diesel BlackPaw, put me down RIGHT NOW!”

“Why? When I can just carry you.” he said, walking towards her office and sat her down in her chair. He kissed her nose and handed her the phone.

She giggled at him, taking the phone from him. “Hello your Majesty.” She greeted.

“Please, just call me Reign.” She insisted.

“Right, sorry.” Kyde snorted. “Actually, I was going to call you. I got your letter about tomorrow and yes; we would love to join you tomorrow. We are pretty excited to see our new home.”

“Oh, that’s wonderful!” Reign cheered. “You can meet us at around 9:30 tomorrow morning in front of the castle. This is so exciting.” She clapped her hands.

“Oh, before I forget, we are having a dinner banquet tonight and we would love for all you and your Shadows to join us.”

“Sure, that sounds fun but let me apologize in advance for my brother’s ahead of time.” Kyde cringed.

Reign laughed, “don’t worry about that. I have my own like that. I have a feeling they will all gravitate to each other.”

“That’s what I’m afraid of.” She laughed.

“Well, I’ll let you get back to your family, see you at the castle banquet hall. When you get there, you’ll be guided to where we’ll be. Bye!” Reign said ecstatically and hung up the phone.

“A party, huh?” Dakota chuckled.

“Yep, now we gotta the wild ones now.” She slumped in her chair.

Dakota held out his hand, helping her up. “C’mon, let’s go tell them.

“We can tell them then we need to call Drake and let him know to let the pack know that they can start making their way here.  Better yet, have him fly them out here, the sooner the better.”

“Sounds good. You want me to gather the children?” He chuckled.

“Please and have them come to the conference room. We need to get a few things going. Call Mimi and Vic also.” She asked him.

“You got it Bunnylove.” He kissed her temple.
