Chapter 81: Brothers and Sisters
Kolby and Hunter were the first ones to make it to the conference room. “Hey sis! What’s up?” Kolby chirped giving her big sister a big hug and kiss on the cheek. Hunter placed a kiss on her forehead.

“Hey, you two, what have you been up to?” She asked them.

“Not much, just checking out the garden.” Kolby smiled. “The smell out there is so relaxing.” she said with contentment.

Hunter chuckled, “yeah, so relaxing that she fell asleep for a little bit?”

“Sorry,” Kolby mumbled.

“Whacha sorry for baby sis?” Kruz eyes his little sister.

“Noneya!” Kolby snapped back. “It’s nothing bad, if you must know.”

“WOW, our little sister has gotten mouthy.” Kruz teased.

“I learned it from you.” She sassed back.

“Alright you two, please stop.” Kyde sighed.

“Yeah, stop Kruz.” Kolby said sticking her tongue out at her big brother.” He playfully flipped her off in return.

“Are you two done yet?” Kyde asked with a raised brow.

Kolby and Kruz looked at each other with narrowed eyes, both nodded at one another… “yeah, we’re done...…for now.” Kolby said with a shrug.

“Yeah, for now.” Kruz said with a mischievous grin.

Everybody started filing into the room. “So, what’s up sis?” KC asked, plopping down on Kasper’s lap.  All the girls knew that their mates would end up pulling them to sit on their lap like they can’t sit on a chair on their own. (eye roll)

“Okay, a few things to go over,” Kyde said rubbing her forehead.

“Hey, hello everyone.” Sofia chirped smiling on the video screen. Drake waved in the background. “So, what’s going on? How are things? Are the King and Queen super nice?” She fired off question after question. “Do you call them by their first names yet?”

“Whoa, whoa, slow down.” Dakota chuckled.

“Hey Sof,” Kyde waved. “Everything is great. Yes, Damien and Reign are super nice.”

“EEEEEEEEEEE…you’re already calling them by their first names. You lucky duck!” Sofia squealed.

Kyde laughed at her cousin’s glee. “Sof, calm down.”

“Sorry.” Sofia said, gathering herself. Drake pulled her in for a hug and kissed her cheek.

“Okay, so tell us what’s going on what’s the plan?” Drake asked.

“Have the pack members finalize who is staying and who is moving.” Dakota told his brother.

“I think they’ve pretty much decided. Those who want to move are packed and ready for the okay to leave. We provided moving trucks to load up their personal belongings and sent those ahead. When you give the go ahead, we’ll be flying everyone out.” Drake told him. I figured you would want them flown out instead of them driving.” Drake chuckled at his brother. “I’ve charted several private planes for them.” Drake stated.

“Well, get them ready, can you have them here maybe tomorrow?” Dakota inquired.

“Yeah sure, but what’s the hurry?” Drake sputtered; he was taking a drink of his water. “Let me get to work on it and I’ll call you with the flight information.”

“That’ll work, I can arrange transport to our new pack lands.” Kota told him. “I’ll need a head count of who’s coming, the families, who’s unmated, etc. And I will need a designated person to be my point of contact while they’re traveling and in case, I have questions or if they have questions.”

“That won’t be a problem.” Sofia smiled. “Uncle Karson, Aunt Kora and Uncle Kory will be going with them.”

“Wait, I thought mom and dad were on vacation with Uncle Kelvin and Aunt Lily.” Kyde frowned.

“We were but we came back.” Kora chimed in.

“Came back,” Karson snorted, “we were not even gone for a full day when your mother said she needed to be here.”

“It’s the move, she wanted to be here for the move. She just missed her babies.” He chuckled.

“It’s a big change for them, they may need me.” She pouted.

“Mom, it would be great to have you come for a visit.” Keane smiled and waved at Kora.

“Okay then, it looks like Pops will be our point of contact.” Dakota snickered.

“That’s fine with me” Karson smiled. “I’ll let you know when all the flight arrangements are made.”

“Sounds good.” Dakota smiled. “What’s next?”

“We’ve been invited to a small banquet gathering at the palace tonight. It’s for us and SilverHawk to meet all pack members and mingle with RoseHunt and SilverHawk. A lot of all three pack members have found their mates so it will be a chance for everyone to get to know one another.” Kyde started to say. “It’s a banquet so please dress nicely. Kolby can you find out if this thing is formal, semi-formal or causal?” she asked her sister.

“Sure.” Kolby hopped up and darted outta the room. Hunter couldn’t help but chuckle at his little mate.

“Hunter, how are you and Kolby doing?” Kora asked.

Hunter looked over at the monitor, we are doing great. Her grades are awesome. She might be able to test out and get her diploma next year. Her online instructor is sending her all kinds of work and study aides. Damn, I have no idea what that stuff is talking about.” He laughed. “Things are not the same as when I was in high school. I don’t think I would make it through high school in these times.” He laughed.

“I don’t think any of us would.” Drake agreed.

“None of you would be able to do what?” Kolby questioned walking into the room.

“The math and the stuff that your online instructor is sending you so you can graduate early.” Hunter replied with so much pride.

“Oh that, yeah,” she sighed, “it’s not as easy as it should be.” Kolby shrugged. “But I will get it done, I want to graduate early.” She said with determination in her eyes. She smiled and sat down next to Hunter. He raised an eyebrow at her. She rolled her eyes at him, and she moved closer to him and nuzzled up to him. “This is the best you get for now.” She told him.

“Well, I’m very proud of you.” Kora said buzzing with excitement.

“Let me know if you need anything to help get you through.” Kyde said with pride shining glowing throughout the room.

“Anyway, her Majesty said tonight is casual but just don’t be all grungy. Nice casual.” She chuckled looking at her big brothers, the Tweedle twins.

“Why you lookin’ at us?” Kruz and Kasper asked at the same time.

“Because you two would do something to embarrass yourselves and maybe even Kyde.” She snorted.

“We would never,” they both said at the same time.

“Alright you three, settle down. We need to get ready. We need to be there at 6 pm.” Kyde instructed. “And please, dress appropriately.” She eyed her brothers, who wiggled their brows with a smirk. “KC, Keane, please reign them in.” She begged her sisters-in-law.

“We'll do our best.” They said looking at each other.

“Anything else?” Mimi asked. Babaloo was holding her hand and caressing her knuckles. He kept leaning in and inhaling her scent. “Will you please stop doing that.” She whispered, pushing his face away from hers. Everybody chuckled at them. Mimi had accepted Babaloo as her mate, but she was still getting used to him. It was always fun to watch them when they were together, especially during training.

“Also, tomorrow we will meet in the front of the palace around 9:30 in the morning, please don’t be late.” Kyde told them.

“Where are we going?” Hunter asked.

“Chill big bro,” Kyde chuckled, “Damien and Reign are taking us and SilverHawk to the area that will be our new territories.”

“New territory?” Hunter said sitting up. “I’ll most defiantly be going. I’ll need to scout the area, see all point of entry, etc. Mimi, Vic, we’ll need to set up teams.” He started shooting off instructions.

“Hunt, slow down.” Dakota snickered at his brother. “You‘ll get the chance to do all that. But I really don’t think there would be too much of a problem. This is Royal pack lands.”

“Yeah, I know it’s the big brother, Gamma, and mate in me. I can’t help it.” He shrugged.

“Right now, we need to just relax and get acquainted with our surroundings and the people we will be working with.” Kyde stated. “There’s so much we need to figure out, it’s gonna take time but as long as we work together and are there for each other we can get through this new chapter in our lives and pack.”

“Sis, we’ve been here for and with you since the day we were born, so that will never change.” Kruz sincerely told his little sister.

“We have been with you through the good, the bad and the ugly. You are going to make a great Alpha.” Kasper told her. “Oh, and you will too.” He looked at Dakota.

Everybody laughed at Kasper’s comment. “I know as much as you two drive me insane, I know you will always be there for me and the pack.” Kyde snickered.
“The pack will be here tomorrow afternoon or evening. We will have a lot to do as soon as we get a look. We need to find the family and single dwellings, etc. We will need to make sure everyone is comfortable and has everything they need.” Kyde started. “KC, Keane, I want for you two to get with Sofia, Aunt Lily and mom to get the names of the members that are coming and separate the unmated from the families and the number of pups under the age of 10, those between 11 -15, and 16 – 19, we need to know all our school age pups.” she instructed.

“You got it sis,” Kolby chirped. “We will get all the stats you will need.” She promised.

“If there’s nothing else or no questions then we have the rest of the day to do whatever we want. But I want everyone back here no later than 5:30 so we can head to the palace.” Dakota said looking around the room.

“That’s gonna be a bit hard for us.” Sofia snickered.

“Hahaha, very funny.” Kyde laughed.

“I’ll send the list you want to the girls with the next hour to hour and half.” Sofia told her cousin as she continued giggling.

“Thanks Sof, we’ll talk more in a few days.” Kyde said. “Love to all and see you soon.” She ended the call.
