Nadia was silent for a while, and scrolled through the iPad. Different photos of Diana being spotted in the city, and after her transformation.

Nadia turned to Victor who had been watching her quietly "How are you so sure?" She asked, and Victor reached for his iPad.

He typed on the iPad for a few minutes before returning it to Nadia. Nadia scanned the numbers on the screen.

She furrowed her brows in confusion "Yara's clinic?" She muttered, and scrolled down.

A long series of numbers appeared on the screen.

"Wait, Yara's clinic? That clinic in the underworld that deals with illegal, and confidential surgeries? So, you're telling me that she paid two million bucks to the clinic so she can have her appearance changed?" She asked.

Victor smirked "Yup. As you can see she pulled all the stops to make sure that she doesn't get caught, but unfortunately for her.... Or him. I have friends in very high places" He puffed up his chest.

Nadia scoffed"You? friends? Victor the only friend you have in your life is your computer "Nadia said, and he frowned.

He rolled his eyes, and crossed his arms" Well, if you must know. I do know some people, and they helped me get this information including changing her name " He explained.

Nadia sighed, and rose from her bed" Well, seems like I'll be going a day of work tomorrow"She muttered, and walked to her bathroom.

Victor just sat on the bed, not sure on what to do"And when you're done being a nuisance can you please leave my room "She yelled from the bathroom.

Victor scoffed, and grabbed his iPad. He grumbled under his breath, and left her room.



Axel sighed for the umpteenth time. His head laying on his desk, and looked at the staring back at him.

Nadia called in sick today, and he was worried sick. He wanted to knock off as soon as possible so that he can go check up on her. Well, that's if they'll even allow him to enter the mansion.

He really missed her so much , and what's even worse is that he had no work to keep him busy. After, nine in the morning were he replied to some emails, and that was it. Clearly, he was bored out of his mind.



Sixteen years old Axel sat on a bench in the park. The place was almost empty due to how late it was, and the cold weather. He blow hot air into his numb fingers, and rubbed them together.

His eyes were looked on the pharmacy across the street, and he sighed.

He had been working at his part time jobs into late into the night, and lost track of time. He was supposed to buy some medicine for Nicolai, but unfortunately the pharmacy closed ten PM.

He has been sitting on the bench for close to an hour, and didn't want to leave. He couldn't go back without the medicine.

He curled into a ball on the bench, and shivered. He placed his chin on his knees, and closed his eyes. He was so tired.

"You shouldn't fall asleep in the cold" He flinched, and nearly fell off the bench. Someone held his shoulders, preventing him from falling.

He gasped, and looked up. His face was inches away from hers, and he froze.

"Are you okay?" She released his shoulders, and smiled at him.

Axel's eyes remained on her face. She was beautiful. Black shoulder length curls, honey brown eyes, and a bright smile.

"Hello.." He snapped out of his trance, and blinked "Are you alright?" She asked again, and Axel nodded.

She sat in front of him, and stretched out a cup towards him, Axel gazed at the cup before looking at her face.

"It's coffee. I bought it from the stall over there" She pointed at a night food stall a few feet from them.

He hesitated for a while before taking it from her, and immediately took a sip. He sighed the moment the got liquid went down his throat, he was almost in tears.

"I'm Nadia"She stretched out her hand for a handshake.

Axel looked at her small hand, before reaching for at" Axel"He whispered.

Her hand felt soft against his that almost forgot to let go.

"Don't you have a home" She asked.

Axel glanced at her"I do. I just can't go back. Medicine for my brother... I have to wait for the pharmacy to open "He said, and took another sip of the coffee.

Nadia raised a brow" You can always come back tomorrow? "She suggested, but Axel shook his head.

" I can't. My brother needs to drink his medicine early in the morning, and if I go home I'll end up missing the exact time he should be drinking the medicine "He explained, and looked at her.

" There you are. Why do you always run off? Do you want your dads to skin me alive? "A tall figure in a black coat walked towards them.

Axel was immediately memorized. Short black curls, Hazel eyes and a piercing on his lower lip. Are all the people in this area good-looking?

"I was helping Axel. He looked cold, and sad"She pouted at him.

The new comer glanced at Axel who also looker back at him. He sighed, and glanced back at Nadia.

" Seriously Nadia? What is it with you, and broken things?"He asked, and Axel sunk back on his sit.

" Fuck you Peyton. His not broken, his just sad, and we're gonna help him" Nadia stood up, and Axel glanced at her.

"Help me?" He muttered with his eyes full of hope.

Nadia smiled at him, before turning towards Peyton.

She glared at him"Get the car, we're gonna search the entire city for a pharmacy that's open until late"She ordered, Peyton was about to protest "Or, I'm telling Auntie Georgia that you're the one that dropped her favorite dagger in the fireplace" Nadia smirked, and Peyton paused.

He was about to say something, but ended up groaning in irritation, before walking away.

Nadia turned towards Axel with a bright smile"Don't worry. We're not leaving until we find the medicine for you brother "She said which immediately putting Axel's mind at ease.



Axel jumped up, and looked around. He looked around, and locked eyes with a frowning Peyton.

Axel rubbed his eyes, and yawned. Wait, did he fall asleep on the job.

" Mr. Peyton. You're here. Did you need something?"He asked, and stood up.

Peyton chuckled" Slept well? "He tilted his head to the side.

Axel rose up, and looked at the clock. Two in the afternoon. He slept for two hours? Fuck, that's what happens when you spent the whole night hacking into people's devices.

Axel gazed at Peyton, and smiled" If you're looking for Miss Knights. She's not around "He said, and ignored the teasing look on Peyton's face.

" I'm not here for Nadia. "Axel furrowed his brow" I'm here for you"Peyton said, confusing Axel even more.
