Chapter 213
Chapter 213
“Sir, can I come in?”
Even after he heard the knock, he kept sucking my lips. I groaned in his mouth, but he was not ready to let go of me. I tried to pull away when he moved his hand in my hair and kept sucking my lips as if he was sucking nectar out of a flower. I beat on his chest to let go of me, but this possessive beast was still not satisfied.
“Sir.” She knocked again when he didn't respond to her. I pinched his bicep hard, and that's when he moved his hand away from my head and let me move my face away from his. He groaned not at the pinch but because I moved my head away from him.
“She is at the door,” I said with a mad look and urgency in my tone. I wanted to move away, but he still kept holding me in place. He once again moved his face forward to kiss me again, but I kept my hand on his lips.
“Azel, she is at the door,” I said a little sternly, and his jaw clenched. He groaned again.
“Let go of me,” I said while moving his hands away from my hips and standing far from him. He didn't like the distance I made between us.
“Come in,” he said sternly with a mad look on his face. She slowly opened the door and peeked inside. Her gaze first fell on me and then on him.
“Are you going to keep standing there?” Azel said sternly while looking at her. She immediately straightened and opened the door wide before walking in with a sheepish look on her face. She walked to his desk and kept the file in front of him.
“Sir, this is Miller's file you asked for in the meeting,” she said with a little too sweet smile on her face. My eyes narrowed in her way. I don't know if she wants to impress him or if she likes him. But the way she was smiling told me she wanted to do both. Her gaze moved to an untouched coffee mug.
“Sir, do you want me to make your coffee again?” she asked with a sweet smile on her face. I remember how she told me he likes coffee made only from her hands. I looked at Azel with narrowed eyes, and he was very much aware of my gaze on him.
“No need. Do you have anything else to tell me?” he asked in a stern tone like my good husband. She moved her head, and I saw her face turn slightly red because he didn't ask to make her coffee again and took a sip from the coffee I made.
“No, sir. That's all,” she said in the same tone and with the same look on her face. She suddenly looked at me sternly.
“Luna, follow me out. I have worked with you,” she said with a tight smile, and I just nodded at her. I shot a look at Azel, saying, See her, and he smiled at me. I know he is not going to say anything to her for now because even I don't mind it that much. Bullying at work is wrong, but if she crosses the line, I will put her in her place. In the future I will be working here for real, and I can't let bullies be at my workplace. All employees here, including the CEO, have to maintain a healthy environment to make work a better place where everyone grows and sees a future. I followed her out and closed the door behind me. As soon as we were out, she immediately turned to look at me.
“What did you say made his mood foul?” she asked sternly while looking at me. Her question caught me off guard. What should I tell her? Because of her, his mood became foul. Only because of her he didn't get to complete the makeout sensation with me.
“Come on, tell me fast. Did you make his black coffee with sugar?” she asked when I didn't say anything. I took a deep breath. I just hope my day gets over soon.
“No, I made it right in the first attempt. Didn't you see he was drinking it?” I said without any expression on my face. Her brows furrowed when I said that. She folded her arms around her chest while thinking about something. I know she doesn’t have any work with me. She just wanted to know the reason behind Azle's stern voice.
“Do you have any other work with me?” I asked with the same expressionless face.
“No, you can go,” she said sternly. I immediately turned on my heels and walked away while rolling my eyes.
“It took you a long time,” Lauren said to me when I slumped on my chair.
“She couldn't believe that the CEO liked coffee from my hand,” I told her, and Lauren chuckled.
“She was interrogating me unnecessarily,” I told her when this time Tyler chuckled.
“She tells everyone that he likes coffee made by her,” he told me, making me laugh. She looked weird to me, but I didn't say it out loud.
“What's her name anyways? She didn't tell me. Instead, she started to scold me because I was late on my first day at the office,” I told them while turning my chair. It rotates in one right direction, and it was fun to play with it.
“Her name is Olivia, and she has been transferred to the temporary secretary post because our CEO’s secretary is on medical leave,” Tyler told me, and I nodded my head. I remember whenever I used to call Azel from the hostel, I had always talked to the secretary, who was male.
“She wants to impress Azel so she can get the permanent position as his secretary,” Tyler told me further. I just nodded my head. I get it. I saw how she was trying to impress him with her coffee and sweet talk. Azel didn't look interested, not even a little bit. I was talking with them when I got a message from Azel. Let's have lunch together. I smiled and was about to reply when Lauren called me.
“We are going for lunch. Why don't you come with us?” she asked with a smile on her face. I looked at Axel's message and went back to her.
What should I do?
