Chapter 212

Chapter 212
My internship has begun.
Tyler took me to the printing machine. It was in the corner near what looked like a kitchen. I took a small peek inside from the side. I saw a sink and water cooler, and beside it was a fridge. On the side was a microwave. Maybe to reheat lunch or water for coffee.
“That's the kitchen,” Tyler told me when he noticed me peeking inside. I nodded my head.
“There are also refreshments inside if you are hungry,” he said to me with a warm smile. He thinks I'm hungry because I was peeking inside.
“No, I'm not hungry. I was just looking around,” I told him with a smile while waving both my hands in no.
“I know,” he said, making me blush slightly.
“Come here; I will teach you how to print,” he said, still smiling at what I said. I nodded my head with a sheepish smile on my face.
“So this is how you put papers inside,” he started to explain everything about the printing machine. He told me how to do it automatically and how to make the same copies multiple times without repeating all the steps again. He explained everything.
“I didn't know the printing machine would be so fascinating. It's so much fun,” I said after making the first copies. He chuckled when I said that.
“You can also print it from my laptop. It’s directly connected to the printer here,” he said, and I nodded. He told me a few more things before we headed to our cubicle, and that's when I saw Azel walking towards his office with his secretary. His gaze landed on me, and his brows furrowed when he saw me standing beside Tyler. His secretary followed his gaze.
“Sir, this is Luna. She is the new intern who has joined us today,” she immediately introduces me with the not-so-stern voice she used on me before. He nodded his head.
“Bring me coffee,” he told me before walking to the office. His secretary didn't follow him inside.
“What are you still standing here for? Get coffee for Sir,” she commanded me, and I nodded my head before walking to the kitchen. Tyler had already showed me the kitchen before we headed back.
“Don’t put any sugar in it; he likes black coffee from my hands, but you can try today,” she told me before walking away. My brows furrowed when she said the part where he licks black coffee from her hands. If he does, I will make sure he never drinks black coffee again in his life. I walked to the kitchen and made black coffee for Azel. I put it on a small tray before walking to his office. I have never made a black coffee before, so I didn't know if I should put one spoon or two spoons of coffee into the brew. I hope he likes it. I wanted to walk straight into his office, but I still knocked because we were in the office and it was the very first task of my internship.
“Come in,” I heard his voice, and I pushed the door open with my shoulder because coffee was still in my hands. He was talking on the phone. I walked to his glass desk and kept the coffee without uttering a word. I am mad at him. Only because of him was I late to the office, and I had to hear all those taunts from his secretary, whose name I still don't know. I was about to walk away when he held my wrist and made a circle around his glass table. Now I was standing beside him with my hand still in his hold.
“Yeah, mail the details to the account team. Yes, they will handle the rest of things,” he said before cutting the call. I wanted to pull my hand out of his hold, but he pulled me on his lap. My eyes widened when he did that so abruptly, catching me off guard.
“What are you doing? We are in the office,” I said while wiggling in his hold, but he wrapped both his arms around my waist, not letting me move.
“So what? It doesn't mean I can't hug my love,” he said while nuzzling his face in my neck.
“Azel, someone walk inside,” I said, still trying to get out of his hold.
“No one will come inside the office without my permission, so relax,” he said while rubbing the tip of his nose on the column of my neck. I bit on my lower lip and stopped wiggling in his hold.
“Why do you look mad?” he asked, noticing how quiet I was. I still kept quiet.
“Lu, tell me what happened,” he asked while holding my chin and making me look at him.
“Only because of you I got late for my first day at office ,” I said while glaring at him.
“You are mad because of it,” he asked while still smiling. My brows furrowed, and I glared at him.
“You have no idea what I had to face because I was late,” I said while still glaring at him.
“I had to hear the taunts of your secretary because I was late,” I told him, and he chuckled again. I glared at him and tried to get up, but he didn't let me.
“I tired you so much last night. I didn't want to wake you up and disturb your sleep,” he told me while cupping my face.
“I knew how tired you were, so I didn't want you to come to the office today anyway,” he said, and my eyes widened in disbelief.
“Why didn't you tell me before? You have no idea how fast I worked after getting up to be here," I said with the same expression on my face. He chuckled again.
“I had no idea you were here,” he said and then pecked my lips. Small pecks turned into makeout sessions until there was a knock on the door by none other than his secretary.
“Sir, can I come in?”
