Chapter 14 My Mother Is Missing
Lily’s pov.
As I’m about to try and call my mother again, Creed comes out of the bathroom, I don’t even look up at him, my leg is bouncing up and down and I can’t stop the huge frown that’s on my face.
“Lily? Is everything alright.. you seem upset” creed talks calmly, like he’s talking to a newborn fawn.
“Somethings wrong, I can feel it, my mother she didn’t answer my call and she never misses my calls, since I left she needs to know I’m okay, where I am and that I got food in my belly.. it’s not right” I whisper, I’m thinking about everything, the worst that could happen is that Danny farther found her, the least worst is that maybe she’s having a shower…
“Let’s not get too riled up right now.. let’s call her again in a bit and see if she answers, and maybe before we even call her she’ll call you back” creed says softly with a small smile. That’s when I really look at him, wet messy hair falling into his face, grey sweats.. and his shirt is just sitting on his shoulder displaying his impressive six pack and muscles. I can feel the heat on my face and ears and quickly look away, I hear creed chuckle but he walks towards the balcony door and moves the curtain out of the way and steps outside, I don’t know if he wanted me to follow him out there or not but I quickly make sure I have “Chloe’s” appearance before I step outside with him.
I look down, looking at the tribes town, all the people bustling around, shopping, chatting all in all just having a good time.
“I really like it here creed.. I wish things were different for us you know, not having to worry about my identity and just be in the moment together, creating a future for us” I say sadly.
“Lily.. we will have a future together, a bright one, with lots of fledglings, we’ll have Christmas and every other holiday together, as a family” creed smiles at me and grabs me by the arms pulling me in for a hug. I’m so incredibly grateful for this man I can’t help but tear up a little, I look up at my wonderful mate so smitten with him already.
“Thank you creed.. for allowing me to see that it’s possibly to have love in hard times”
We look upon everyone one last time before heading back into creeds room, I looked around one last time before grabbing my phone.
“I’m gonna try and call her one more time before I have a shower.. I’m to concerned not to try again I know we said not to panic and wait but I can’t, I need to know she’s okay” creed nods his head and agrees I should call again.
My hands are shaking while trying to push the buttons to call her, when I finally get it to work it starts to ring… and ring… and ring… and voicemail.
“What the fuck!” I all but shout.
“Hey, hey it’s okay Lily, let’s try to stay calm for now!” Creed basically pleads with me.
‘No. If someone took our mother Lily we will burn the world down looking for her.’ Sapphires roaring in my head, ready to take on the world to find her, my mother.
“Creed how am I supposed to stay calm?? She’s definitely missing ! Somethings going on!” I start pacing back and forth thinking about what to do, what I can’t do and what I should do.
“I need to go home creed.. to find clues, to figure out if this is a bigger problem than you think. Someone took her, I feel it! I will burn the world down looking for her! Nothing and no one can stop me” I can feel the heat radiating off of me before creed can even speak.
“Sweetheart.. I can feel the heat raging off of you.. you need to try and calm down before you burn our tribe down” you can hear the amusement in creeds voice.
“I know you’re scared, worried and even angry, but we need to think rationally, the only person who would’ve taken her is your father, Danny. There’s no other explanation, so if that’s the truth we need to be careful not to reveal who you are.. if we do at the worst they might get to you too.. and I can’t handle that, I would tear the world apart looking for you, I’d die looking for you Lily so please just listen to me, trust in me.” I look into his eyes and I trust in him. I trust he’ll help me find my mother, with him by myside we can do anything. I nod my head at him and sit down on his bed and flop on my back.
“Okay creed. I trust you, I trust you’ll help me. Let’s start doing what you think we should do first.”
“Well first I need to contact Jason and Ryan, they will be taking care of the tribe and things around here while we’re gone, and they are also my best friends so I’d love to introduce you to them.. if you’re okay with that, then I need to let my little sister know I’m leaving, and explain to all them the reasoning behind it and if they don’t see me or hear from me within three days to start looking for us.” I can tell how serious creed is by the time he finishes talking, his eyes get a little darker when he gets angry, only igniting my burning fire. Then I perk up.
“Little sister?” I ask curiously.
“Yes my little sister, her names Alexandra, she’s 20 years old and is a pain in my ass, but it’s just me, her and our bastard of a father” creed rolls his eyes after speaking about his father.
“Oh I see, so your sister is around my age” I say with a small smile.
“Yes she is actually, come let’s go to my office and I’ll summon the three of them to come in, we’ll talk to them before we crash tonight and first things tomorrow morning we’ll be leaving to go look for your mother” when creed was done talking he grabbed me by the hand and started leading us to his office, I was looking around at everything, just a little fascinated with every detail. Black, white and gold decor, large paintings that look almost ancient, there’s actually family portraits on one wall by creeds office too! I step closer to it and look, his mother is in this one, she’s beautiful and looks just like creed but a female version, a lot shorter too, her green eyes feel like there piercing a hole in me. Creed looks a lot younger in this photo, still handsome with his wild blond hair and bright green eyes, his younger sister looks alot different then him though, black hair, brown eyes, oval shape face and very slim build, resembling her father, who looks exactly like her but a lot more muscular. Creed tugs my hand.
“Come on let’s go now, we don’t have a lot of time, there’s gonna be time for me to show you every aspect of this place soon.”
We walk into Creed's office together and he gestures for me to sit down on the love seat, when I sit down he surprises me by sitting down beside me instead of behind his desk, he sees my reaction and just smiles at me.
“They’ll be here any moment now” he says.
I hear a knock on the door, creed says come in and the door opens, two massive guys come in and smile at creed but when they see me they quirk an eyebrow up.
“Who’s this?” The one with black longish hair asks.
“This is my fated mate; your queen” creed says seriously. Both of them look at each other in shock, mouths agape, eyes wide open and they keep looking at me and then Creed.
