Chapter 13 Barely Contained
Creeds pov;
Seeing how angry all this makes Lily makes me want to say screw the world, take her by her waist and just kiss her until there’s nobody but the two of us. The threat of her father looking for her is too great to risk her safety, I don’t want to introduce her to our tribe as Chloe either but if it’s going to keep her safe I will do it. I’ll do anything if it means keeping her safe.
“Lily.. I don’t care what everyone else thinks for now, who they think you are and who you actually are, are very different things, you’ll show them you're a great queen and when we’re safe and it’s time we’ll tell them what happened and who you really are, we just need some time! I’ll always admire you for putting everyone’s safety before your comfort zone. It makes me proud to know you’re by my side.” When I finish talking you can see Lily's face light up with a smile, it’s not truly her face but it’s still lit up by a smile. While we’re walking the halls of my tribe house (more like mansion) I see Lily quietly taking everything in, eyes widen slightly when she sees something she likes, I’m leading her to my bedroom right now because I need to shower before I go and see most of our tribe, after shifting and everything today I just need to feel clean, cleanse the days worries away.
“Well this is my bedroom, the bathrooms connected so you can wait in my room for me if you want and have a shower after I’m done or I could take you to the room you’ll be staying in from now on, at least until we decide to move you into mine” the top of her ears go red and it’s taking me everything not the smirk right now.
“Okay yeah.. I’ll wait for you because I have a few phone calls I need to make anyways, I need to talk to my ma and let Master Shifu know I won’t be returning for my assassin lessons anymore and that I also won't be living with him anymore either” after she was finished I stopped walking into my room and turned to look at her, mouth a bit agape.
“Assassin? You’re saying you could probably kick my ass then?” I ask surprised.
Lily has a full belly laugh, giving me all kinds of butterflies in my stomach, that’s a noise I could hear everyday.
“I mean it depends, how intense your training is, how many hours a day you train, when you started training.. I just started two years ago when Master Shifu found me.. it was a rainy day I guess you could say. He took me im fed me and kept a roof over my head, and then he went out of his way to make sure I was his best assassin and he always told me all I had to do was make sure I was always aware that he would ask one favour one day. And I’d do anything for that man, he saved me when I needed saving, trained me when I needed training, without him I wouldn’t be who I am today” when she’s finished she has a small smile on her face, like she’s reminiscing in old memories.
“He sounds like a good man. I’d like to meet him someday, if that’s okay with you "I smile at her.
“Okay okay, go have your shower now you stink!” Lily playfully shoves me and I laugh before grabbing some sweatpants and a plain black t-shirt. I go to the bathroom and leave the door open just a tiny bit just in case she wants to take a peak..
Lily’s pov.
Goddess I can’t with this man; he’s to good to be true. I make sure I have my phone in my pocket and when I notice it’s there I grab it and sit on creeds bed; it’s a huge canopy king size bed, red and black bedding, pillows and black curtains on the balcony doors, he has a plush gray carpet on the floor at the end of the bed, on the one side of the room there’s a reading desk with a mini fridge on top of it and lots of books, on the other side I can see doors that could only lead to a closet, I look towards the door where I can here the shower running and my heart starts running in my chest. He left the door open a bit.. just enough so I could see inside if I dared. I sat there contemplating if I should go and peak or if that would be creepy.. I’m pretty sure he left the door open so I could, without another thought I started tip toeing my was towards the bathroom door, steam is filling out into the bedroom making some sweat bead on my forehead. I started second guessing myself, but Sapphire took control when I had my guard down and basically marched her self up to the door, I started panicking inside thinking she’s going to just keep marching right through the door or something, take all our clothes off and jump the poor guy.
‘Lily I wouldn’t do something we both don’t want to do, so don’t worry I just want a peak’
Goddess help me this dragon will be the death of me.
When Sapphire gets there I use my powers to make sure we don’t make any noise.. I peer through the door and I’m not disappointed when I see him, in all his glory, taut muscles everywhere that move with every movement he makes, he’s washing his blond hair with his back to me, I have a perfect view of his bubble butt.
‘That’s saved in my memory bank’ Sapphire the dirty little dragon. I quickly walk away from the door and sit back on creeds bed, I grab my phone again and dial Master Shifus number, it rings three times before he picks up.
Master Shifu: hello?
Lily: hey Master Shifu, it’s Lily I am calling to let you know where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to.
Master Shifu: go on then.
Lily: well… to start I maybe was kind of stalking.. not stalking but basically..
Master Shifu: just spit it out already Lily, who have you been watching?
Lily: I found my fated mate. And he’s the last dragon king, creed forester, at the black rainforest tribe, he’s going to let me stay here and he’s gonna keep me and Sapphire safe, I’ve got Chloe’s identity up right now, people have already seen us together and we agreed for now no one would know my real identity.
Master Shifu:…..
Lily: Hello? Are you still there??
Master Shifu: yes.. I’m still here. That’s great news Lily, you should make sure you try and be happy but safe too, you’re like a daughter to me and it’s going to be a shame that you are going.. but I couldn’t deny you happiness and safety. I do ask you to come see me and train at least once a week, alright?
Lily: hahah yes I will, of course.
We said our goodbyes and hung up the phone. I can’t help smiling to myself, I love that guy. He’s the father figure I never had growing up, I love him for all he did for me, of course I’d go see him as much as possible. I look at my ma’s phone number and hit dial. It rings, rings, rings and rings some more, I get to her voicemail and think that’s oddly strange, she never misses my phone calls..
