Be Killed?
Chapter 12
Tanya's POV
Elton's appearance interrupted me and Brande, forcing me to face the fact that I had ignored for too long: I have two twin mates!
It's unbelievable that the Moon Goddess arranged two mates for me! Should I be happy or worried?
"Bella, how should I deal with this relationship? "
"When I found out that Brande was my mate, that incredible feeling hit me! I just knew I couldn't resist his charm."
"Undoubtedly, I also have sincere and strong feelings for Elton! This is really a blessing from the Moon Goddess, but also a joke!"
Watching me anxiously, Bella didn't seem to care and even crossed her legs.
She asked me, "Do you like Brande?"
"Nonsense!"
"What about Elton?"
"Cut the crap!"
"Tell me."
"I...like him, and it's a different feeling. They are two kinds. But both are more than charming. They're both irresistible in their own way."
"Perfect! Losing either of them would make you miserable. Since you like them both, why not be with them at the same time? You are so strange, but I believe the Moon Goddess is never wrong. Since the Moon Goddess guides you, I believe she has her own arrangements."
I looked at Bella in shock. I didn't expect her to suggest something so outrageous.
But...I suddenly realized that the world had become quiet.
We had been silent for too long.
I looked over and saw Elton and Brande looking pale.
I had to say something.
"Elton, you're also one of my destined mates," I whispered. "But I can't give up on Brande; we're already in love."
Seeing Elton's pained expression become even more difficult to hide, and his hasty exit, tore my heart apart.
"I'm going back too, Tanya," Brande showed the same painful expression, forced out a smile, and left like Elton.
Is this really the best arrangement, Moon Goddess?

The night, as I lay in bed trying to sleep, I heard a knock on my door. It was Brande.
"Tanya, can we talk?" he asked softly.
I nodded, and he came into my room, closing the door behind him.
"I know this is a complicated situation," he began, "but I don't want to lose you. I love you, Tanya, and I can't imagine being with anyone else."
I felt tears welling up in my eyes as I looked at him. "Brande, I love you too," I said. "But I also have feelings for Elton."
He nodded. "I know. And I don't want to stand in the way of your happiness, Tanya. If being with Elton makes you happy, then I'll step aside."
I couldn't believe how understanding he was being. "Brande, I don't want to lose you either. Is there any way we could make this work?"
He thought for a moment. "What if...we were all together? The three of us, I mean. It's not conventional, but it could work. We could make it work."
I stared at him in disbelief. Was he serious?

For the next few days, I couldn't stop thinking about Brande and Elton. I tried to suppress my feelings for both of them, but it was impossible.
I didn't want to hurt either one of them by making a choice, nor did I want to ignore my own desires. It was a difficult situation, but I knew I had to do something about it.
I walked out aimlessly, wanting to try to breathe in some fresh air and change my mood.
I found myself at the famous cliff of the White Wolf Clan, but I have no idea how I got here.
The towering cliff looms like an endless barrier, blocking the path ahead. Its steep slope is daunting as if a deep abyss awaits. The rocks are smooth and hard, covered with moss and vines, evoking an ancient and mysterious aura.
From the peak, the entire valley is visible, presenting breathtaking scenery. However, this also serves as the final line of defense for the wolf pack, guarding against any possible threats. Standing at the edge of the cliff, one can feel the strength and glory of the wolf tribe, as well as their harmonious integration with nature.
It is said that this is the sacred site of the White Wolf Tribe, and during every full moon night, the ancestors of the wolf tribe will appear here to protect their people.
Just as I was about to enjoy the feeling of being alone for a moment, a woman dressed in black suddenly approached me from afar. Her eyes were cold and her expression was hostile. She looked like she meant business.
Before I could react, she spoke harshly, "You really think highly of yourself. Do you really think Elton likes you? You're just an ordinary omega. How could you possibly be with a superior alpha like Elton?"
I was taken aback by her sudden appearance and vicious tone. But then her words sunk in, and my blood boiled with anger.
"Excuse me?" I retorted, my voice laced with fury. "Who do you think you are? Even if you're an alpha doesn't mean you can talk down to me like that."
The woman smirked, clearly enjoying the power she held over me. "Oh, sweetie, you have no idea who I am," she said condescendingly. "But let me enlighten you. My name is Whitney, and I'm the female warrior of the White Wolf Clan. And my father is a great beta here. Only someone like me deserves Elton!"
I felt a knot form in my stomach at the mention of her name. I had heard of Whitney before, and she was known to be one of the strongest warriors.
"You garbage, right?" Whitney continued to insult me, her words growing more vicious by the minute. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest, and I knew that I needed to get away from her as quickly as possible.
This pack was not my own, and I didn't know what kind of trouble I could get into if I stood up to her any further. With that in mind, I decided to take a step back and hold my tongue.
This is not my pack, and I may be treated as a rogue here, if anyone wanted to.
She sneered. "Know your place, little omega."
But just as I was about to turn and run, Whitney lunged towards me, her sharp claws outstretched.
When I yelled, "Dare you to come over!", my foot accidentally kicked a rock. I stumbled and inadvertently stepped back - into nothingness!
