She is My Wife

Chapter 13

Tanya’s POV

As I shouted, "Dare you to come over!", my foot accidentally kicked a rock, causing me to stumble and step back - right into thin air!

I widened my eyes in shock and exclaimed, "Wow!"

I was done for! Closing my eyes tightly, I bit my lip, trying to refrain from screaming.

The whistling wind rushed by my ears, and the feeling of falling made my heart race with fear.

Suddenly, something wrapped around my waist and pulled me up forcefully.

Stunned, I hadn't even opened my eyes yet when I heard a voice above me, speaking with a smile.

"Dear, I told you to stay in the room obediently. You just wouldn't listen. You really deserve a spanking!"

That voice... it was Elton's!

Quickly opening my eyes, I saw that a long golden-black whip had wound around my waist, and Elton was looking down at me with a hint of amusement on his face.

"Elton?!" I cried out in relief, tears streaming down my face as I realized I was safe.

"It's so scary! Hurry up and pull me up!" I wailed, my words mixed with sobs.

Elton raised an eyebrow at my tears and stopped teasing me. He used his strength to flick the whip upwards, lifting me into the air.

The sudden swinging motion frightened me, and I started screaming again as I was lifted up and then dropped back down.

"Elton! What are you doing... Wow!" I screamed, but before I could finish speaking, his slender figure flew towards me, catching me and landing softly like a leaf.

"I saved you! What's wrong? Isn't it good that I saved you?" he asked, trying to lighten the mood.

"Wow - no!" I shouted, holding onto him tightly. "Elton, if you dare drop me, I'll take you down with me!"

He raised his eyebrows slightly, smirking. "Sweetheart, is this how you treat your savior?"

"What savior?" I glared at him. "If it weren't for you and Brande putting so much pressure on me, I wouldn't have run out to clear my head, and I wouldn't have met that woman..."

I paused, suddenly realizing something. "Hey? Where is she?"

As I looked around, trying to locate the mysterious woman, Elton suddenly disappeared from my side. I gasped as he grabbed Whitney by the scruff of her neck and threw her to the ground.

"What do you think you're doing?" Elton growled, his eyes blazing with anger. "Leave Tanya alone."

I watched in awe as he stood over her, his eyes ablaze with anger and his voice cold as ice. "Whitney," he growled, "you have crossed a line. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in our pack."

Whitney snarled and struggled against his grip, but Elton held her down effortlessly. "This omega doesn't deserve your attention," she spat, her eyes fixed on mine. "She's nothing but trouble."

Elton's grip tightened. "Enough," he said firmly. "You will apologize to Tanya, and then you will leave this territory immediately."

"You are not welcome here ever again."

Whitney scrambled to her feet, clearly intimidated by Elton's powerful presence. "I-I didn't mean to hurt her, but she is just a rogue here..." she stammered.

She backed away slightly, looking almost afraid of Elton's steely gaze. "I-I was just trying to teach her a lesson,"

Elton's grip on her wrist tightened, causing Whitney to wince in pain. "Well, your lesson is over," he said firmly. "Tanya doesn't need to be taught anything by someone like you. She is your Luna, my wife."

Whitney's eyes widened in disbelief.

"I don't care what your intentions were," Elton said sternly. "Attacking a member of our pack is a serious offense. You will leave immediately or face the consequences."

Whitney tried to pull her hand free from Elton's grasp, but he refused to let go. "Let me go!" she cried, struggling against him.

Elton didn't budge an inch. Instead, he pulled her closer to him, his face inches away from hers. "If you try to hurt Tanya again, I won't be so forgiving next time," he said sternly. "Understand?"

Whitney nodded, clearly frightened by Elton's show of force. "Yes," she said quickly. "I won't bother her again."

With that, Elton released her wrist, causing her to stumble backwards. She looked at us for a moment before finally turning and running away, clearly shaken by the encounter.

I felt relieved as Whitney turned and ran away, knowing that she was no match for Elton's strength and authority. As she disappeared into the night, Elton turned towards me, his expression softening.

How quickly he had shifted from his fierce, authoritative side to this gentle, caring demeanor. It was like he had two completely different sides to him.

"Are you okay, Tanya?" he asked, his voice gentle.

I nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. "Thank you, Elton," I said quietly.

Elton smiled at me, taking my hand once again. "Don't worry, Tanya," he said comfortingly. "I'll always be here to protect you."

His words sent a wave of warmth through me, making me feel safe and secure in his presence. And then something he had said earlier popped into my mind.

"Did you say I was your wife?" I asked, looking up at him.

Elton's smile widened, and he gave me a sly wink. "Yes, my dear," he said. "You're my luna, and we're going to have an unprecedented wedding."
