CHAPTER 17: - REUNITE

Maya’s heartbeat fastened, she was inhaling deep breaths, her foots were frozen cold as ice cubes, she curled her toes, she lost her senses. She couldn’t think of any other thing after what she heard. With shaking legs, she turned around quickly, took the elevator and went out from the building as fast as she could. Maya was totally broken she no longer could control her tears and with wobbling legs she reached the area where she had parked her car, she fell down on her knees crying badly she thought that for all these years Aarav had cheated on her. She craved for his love every day. She hated him all these years just for nothing. She was repenting for her actions what she had done with him. She was blaming herself because of the lack of trust she had for him, she questioned herself about her love for Aarav.

If that day she would have listen to Aarav than today they could have been a married couple. If only she could go back in past and change the things, she would have done that. Then she remembered Aarav’s face when they first met at Aarav company’s and last night face, she understood that he still loved her. Now that she knows the truth, for all those years she held herself back from going back to him but not anymore, she wanted Aarav back in her life, she didn’t care for any of Yash’s threats or her father’s wishes. Now she was determined to fight for her love, she wiped her tears stood up from the ground with the help of her car support took out her phone and immediately dialled Aarav’s number.

Aarav was in a meeting room discussing about the project details with his client, in the middle of the meeting his phone rang. He turned the phone to glance at the caller ID and was surprised to see the name because in these 5 years she had never called him once. With a small smile he excused himself and walked out from the meeting room to attend a call.

“Hello, Aarav it’s me Maya.” Maya spoke in a low voice.

“You don’t have to introduce to me like that. I know your well.” Aarav paused for a second and continued, “Anyway, why did you call me? It must be something important otherwise you would never have called me.”

Maya closed her eyes she gulped and replied, “I want to meet with you Aarav, I want to meet you now. Come to seashore where you always go, I’ll be waiting for you.”

Maya’s statement made his day, he was waiting for this moment since the day she broke up with him. He was in a heaven; he was jumping in excitement in his mind to meet with her, “Yes I am on my way.”

Aarav walked inside the meeting room with a cheerful and smiling face he told Darsh to continue the meeting as he had to go for an urgent work. Darsh understood what his brother’s urgent work could just by the look on his face. Aarav reached at the seashore, he opened his car door and saw Maya standing on the edge of the seashore with her back facing him. Her hair was dancing with the breeze. Aarav closed his car door, the sound of the door closed made Maya turned around Aarav was standing with his arms opens with a never-ending smile and his face, Maya ran and caged herself in his arms. Aarav also hugged her tightly both were in tears. Minutes later they broke the hug Aarav wiped her tears Maya closed her eyes to feel the warmth of his hand on her face, Aarav kissed her on her forehead.

“I missed the warmth of your hands, the feeling when you hug me, when you look at me with this beautiful eye, I feel special.” Maya traced her hand in his face and spoke.

“Never in my dreams I thought that this day will come, when I have you back in my arms. There is no word to describe how I was feeling when you had called me.” Aarav smiled and replied.

They both went in a nearby bench and sat down. Maya kept her head on Aarav’s right shoulder while Aarav kept his right hand on her right shoulder. Silence erupted none of them is speaking enjoying the view of beautiful seashore.

“How do you know that this is my favourite spot?”

“Whenever I wish to see you Aarav I came here, I saw you coming here once and since then I knew that you are coming here every day, and this place became my favourite spot.”

Maya held Aarav’s hand in her “Aarav, I want to apologise to you.”

Aarav turned towards Maya, “Apologise for what Maya? For not trusting me? For breaking my heart? For questioning my love for you? For slapping me? Without listening to my side, you had declared your decision, Maya.”

Maya cried hearing Aarav’s question, “For everything that I did with you and for the pain which I caused you. Yash was the one who planned to separate us.”

Aarav hugged Maya he couldn’t see tears in her eyes, “I forgave you, now stop crying you know I hate to see tears in your eyes. Maya tells me the reason why did you agreed on marrying with Yash.”

“My father was a greedy person he wants 50% of shares in Viraj’s uncle’s company so they had a deal if only I would marry with Yash my father will get what he wants. And Yash threatened me by my father.”

Aarav gritted his jaw, “I want to make you my queen, but your father saw you as a commodity to become rich. Now that I am back in your life you don’t have to worry, I will free you from Yash clutches. And then we will get married.”

“I love you Aarav, and I will always be yours.”

“I love you too my queen.”

Both shared a long kiss. Maya decided she will tell her parents to whom she wants to marry and to be with the rest of her live. If she had to fight with her father for Aarav, she will do it. Now she will do anything to be with her love, she mentally noted in her mind.

David went to meet Viraj in Buildtech Creations. David went inside Viraj’s cabin and sat in front of Viraj like he is the owner of the company. David came personally to meet Viraj in a hope that Viraj will now complete his part of deal by giving 50% of shares.

“Why did you come here David?”

“I guess the time came for you to complete your part of the deal.”

Viraj leaned back on his chair, “I will not transfer my shares to you, you lied to me about Aarav and Darsh that you had killed them, but you didn’t. You are my sister’s husband so I am leaving you alive but if you tried to tell anyone what happened 22 years ago. I will not show any mercy on you and kill you in a most brutal way. Now leave.”

David got flabbergasted and panicked hearing Viraj’s words. He knew how cruel Viraj was. But David was angry on Viraj for not fulfilling his promise twice. As both the times Viraj used David for his own selfish motives.
