CHAPTER 16: REPENTANCE
Aarav ended the last sentence of his past as he vowed to himself that he will take his revenge from Yash no matter how many years it would take. Darsh could feel his brother’s pain and the humiliation he had suffered which he didn’t deserve at all. Before leaving the room Darsh told Aarav that he will always be ready to help him whenever he needs and will always be by his side. On the other side Maya was crying badly, she scattered all the things of her room in frustration and her room was a total mess, she didn’t have a shoulder on which she could cry out to ease her pain nor did she had anyone who could wipe away her tears. That night was like a nightmare for Aarav and Maya.
The next morning Aarav and Darsh went to their company Maya received a call from Yash, “Maya, I want you to come to my office.”
“I am busy, I will be there in afternoon.”
And Maya ended the call. Yash puts his phone on the table, a man enters his office holding a bouquet in his hands and with four body guards followed behind him. Yash held up his face to see the intruder and soon as Yash eyes landed on the intruder a wide smile appeared on his face Yash stood up from chair moved towards the person Yash took the bouquet from his hand and then they both hugged each other, as they were childhood friends which actually, they were not, they just met with each other 2 months ago, but the bond between them became very strong. That person was Karan Reddy with whom Yash has spent his night when he was behind the bars. Karan came to congratulate Yash personally for his engagement since he wasn’t able to attend Yash’s engagement ceremony, Karan was out of the country and returned just now. Both of them sat on a couch and started a long-lasting conversation.
Kaviya who is a doctor is on her way to a hospital where she works, but first she thought to visit Darsh in his office. As she reached Evolution contracts she stepped out of the car and saw that Darsh was exiting from his company along with four of his company employees. Darsh saw Kaviya standing in front the main entrance of his building, he started walking towards her then they both hugged each other.
“Hi Kaviya, I didn’t expect you to be here, it’s really a great surprise.”
“Well, I was just passing by and thought to visit you.”. Kaviya made an excuse, she didn’t want Darsh to know that she came specially for him.
“Can you do me a favour.?” Kaviya raised her eyebrows and said, “What favour do you want from me.”
Darsh scratch the back of his head and replied, “I want you to come at 8 pm in a Spice and Corner restaurant along with Maya. My brother has told me everything, I just want them to reunite and clear all the misunderstanding between them.”
“For this you don’t have to ask me like that I will bring her with me. Don’t worry.” Kaviya replied with a smile
Darsh glanced at his wrist watch then said, “Thank you Kaviya, ok I will see you later, I had to go for an urgent meeting it’s already late.”
They both dispersed. Darsh went with his employees and Kaviya drove the car towards her hospital.
It is afternoon Maya enters in the building Buildtech Creations and went to the elevator, and pressed the top floor button where Yash’s office cabin is located, the elevator door opened with a ping sound Maya saw a familiar woman standing outside Yash’s cabin. She thought she has seen that woman somewhere but couldn’t recall. Without knocking the door, the woman entered inside the cabin. The door was not fully closed. Maya walked towards the door and peeked inside. Yash was standing near a big window; his back was facing the door with the sudden sound he turned to look he expected Maya to come but was surprised to see that woman in front of him. In an angry tone he spoke “Why the hell are you here, didn’t I told you not to come in my company?”
“Yes, you mentioned it but you left me with no other choice but to come here personally and to take my money from you, and as I told you earlier, I need double amount of what you had paid me 5 years ago.” While saying this the woman walked towards and sat on a nearby chair with legs crossed.
As Maya heard the word “5 Years ago” she understood where she saw this woman. The memories of that woman being in Aarav’s arm inside a hotel room flashed in her mind. Maya being more alert continued to hear their conversation.
Yash started laughing like a psycho and said, “You are just a cheap slut and a gold digger, I wouldn’t give you a single amount of money, I had already paid you more than you deserve.”
The women stayed calm stood up and approached Yash staring right into his eyes she replied, “Fine, then I will go and tell everything to your wife-to-be Ms. Maya Seghal, that how you destroyed her love life and how you humiliate Aarav while he was all innocent.”
Yash clenched his fist and the women distanced herself from Yash with a smirked on her face. Maya heard each and every word which that woman had spoken and it shattered her. Now she was confused as to whether she should break her engagement with Yash and be with her love or she should stay silent and follow her dad’s wishes.
