"Raven I am not sure why you did that, but you need to find a way to applogize to your mother. She has done everything to help you, to get you the things you want. You just stood there and treated her like she was garbage. If I ever hear you talking to you like that again, I will send you over seas, to live with your grand mother. She would never allow what you just did." I walked away before I did something I would regert. When I tried to go into the room the door was locked. I couldn't blame her, not one bit. Turning I headed back to my office.
"Why am I wrong?" Raven asked Lucian as I walked past glaring at her.
"You just crushed our mother's heart. Don't you understand what you did? Did you not see her face? Do you care? I have always backed you tried to bridge the gap between you and mom. This however...Raven that wasn't right." Lucian looked at his twin shaking his head as he left her standing in the living room.
I listened to what Lucian told Raven, she still didn't get it. Why she acted like that with Natalia didn't make any sense to me. Once in my office I felt like I had failed Natalia. Raven was out of control when it came to the way she treated her mother. Not sure what to do about it however. Finally I picked up the phone to call my mother. She had gone home for a while and would be back in a few months.
"Draven?" My mother answered the phone sounding worried.
"Mother, I have a problem and am at a lose on how to deal with it." I told her with a sigh.
"Let me guess, Raven." My mom grunted with anger in her voice.
"Yes, I am not sure why she is so hateful to Natalia. Who is now locked in our room." Draven explained to his mother on what had happened.
"I'm not sure what to tell you. Raven is selfish and that won't change until she is put in her place." My mom told me the same thing I had already thought. "Maybe send her to me."
"Funny you should say that. I just told her if she keeps on that is what would happen. I don't see Lucian being happy seeing his sister leaving him." They were very close, but I knew that he didn't like the way Raven treated there mother.
"Did she seemed worried?" Mom asked with a chuckle.
"Can't be sure, she just had that look on her face. The one that is always on her face." I sighed then decided that I should just send her over.
"I will expect her within the next month then." My mom laughed as we disconnected the call.
I stood going into the living room finding Raven still standing in the same spot. When I looked up at her I could see she was still trying to figure out what she had done. It wasn't hard to figure out if she had just looked at her mother. Standing in front of her I waited for a few moments. When she looked at me, she still didn't get it.
"I didn't do anything wrong." Raven told me with pur hate in her eyes. "She hates me."
"Raven you did do something wrong. Your mother has loved you from the moment you came into this world. Has made sure that you had everything that you ever needed. Maybe that is part of the issue. That you think someone as pure hearted as your mother would ever hate you. It breaks my heart to see it and pisses me off that you don't. Seeing as you can't understand what you did I am going to be sending you over seas. Your grandmother will be waiting to see you. I don't want to hear a thing about it, you have broken something in this family because you can't seem to understand that your words and can hurt. She was just talking about a way to help you get into college. To make sure that your dreams came true. Not that you would ever see that. Never have a moment to show your mother a little love." I watched as she grew angry then something else crossed her face. I could see that she was starting to get it.
"No...I won't go." Raven stomped her foot as she spoke with anger in her voice.
"Oh you will go. You are underage and living in my house. On top of that I am your father and maker. I don't use power to control you and your brother. I can if I wanted, but it isn't what your mother wanted. She wanted you and your brother to live a normal life. You seem to misunderstand that we are your parents. We have the power and control. So you can go to your room and stay there until I come get you." I watched as her eyes grew large then she stiffened. "Act on that and see what happens."
"GOD I thought you where better than her." Raven screamed as she swung at me.
I grabbed her arm holding her in place. My eyes blazed with anger and hurt. The moment I stepped closer she looked down at the floor.
"What the hell do you think you are doing?" I growled out at her, not letting her arm go.
"I-I..." She stammered as she looked at my face.
"You ever do that again and I will find a cell for you. I love you Raven but this is getting out of hand. You strike out at everyone but Luican. It isn't how life is lived, you need to think about what you are want. Because you can't be in the human world if you keep snapping like this. Go to your room and pack your things." I finally dropped her arm watching as she stood there for a moment longer.
Finally she turned heading up to her room. I heard the door slam. He wan't happy with how Raven was acting. I was about to go into my office again when Lucian entered the living room.
"You are sending her to Grandma?" Lucian sighed as he stood in front of me.
"Maybe she will find out what it is like to have almost nothing. Granted you two have always been well taken care of, you are loved by both your parents. I just don't understand why she would say those things to your mother. I honestly don't want to send her, but I am at a lose." I told him the truth because I didn't want to think something else.
"I have tried to talk to her as well. Not sure what is going on. I know that she is struggling about the school stuff. Just not sure why she takes it out on Mom." Lucian sighed as he walked up to his room.
