Chapter 15 Fainted
She held her hand and had a worried look on her face “I heard you fainted and I had to rush here immediately”
Mrs Buenavista smiled “I’m fine now, it’s just my usual episode. You know my life is on the line already, and this things will surely happen”
Ana sighed “I’m glad you are fine now, but tell me exactly what happened that made you faint?
Mrs Buenavista was about to tell her when her son rushed in looking worried and angry at the same time.
“Fernando, you are here,” Mrs Buenavista said.
“Mother, are you okay now?” Fernando asked and she nodded.
Fernando sighed in relief, he had asked his mother’s maid and she had said she was just walking when she suddenly fainted. He spoke to the doctor a few minutes ago and he informed him she needed more rest and emotional support. It seems that she has been thinking so much about the fact that she will die soon.
His mother had three months to leave, he had had a hard time living with the fact that soon his mother would be no more. But when he had she fainted it felt suffocated and like he is about to lose his mind. He loves her so much so it hurts him that this is her reality.
“You have to be careful mother, the maid said you burnt an insect earlier in the day, that must have triggered something. Please do not burn insects anymore” Fernando said in concern.
“I had to pray so you will have a good marriage and good future with your wife” she said
Ana looked at Fernando who sighed “It’s enough already, don’t do it anymore”
“But that is not what caused it” Mrs Buenavista said.
“It might have contributed,” he said.
“I’m sure you have spoken to the doctor, he said I need emotional support”
“I promise to always come and spend time with you mother in-law, that way you won’t feel lonely” Ana said.
Fernando looked at her.
Mrs Buenavista smiled "You can’t always move back and forth. So I was thinking, both of you should move into the family house. Since I will die in three month, you should spend my last three months on earth living with me”
Ana was shocked, she looked towards Fernando who was looking at her.
If they are to leave with her, they will have to share the same room.
“I do not think that is ne……” Ana was not able to complete the word.
“We will move into the house” Fernando said cutting her short
Ana glared at him. He knows more than her that they can’t move into the family house. Why did he agree?
Mrs Buenavista clapped happily, her plan had worked. Unknown to them she had pretended to faint so they would agree to move in with her and now she has succeeded.
Ana bites her bottom lip. She had to smile and act like she was okay with it.
Later that day his mother was discharged and they escorted her home. After a few hours, they headed back home, this was after Fernando informed his mother that they will move in two days.
On their way back home, Ana could not hold it in any longer.
“How could you agree?” she half yelled.
“Mind your town young lady,” Fernando warned.
“Do not tell me to mind my tone. How could you have agreed? This was not part of our agreement”
“It’s part of what you need to do since you are my fake wife. All this is because of my mother, so you have to move in”
“No I won’t agree. It was not stated in our agreement that I have to live in your family house. It was not even in the contract that I have to live with you, now you want me to live with you in your family house? I am a law student, I know very well what the contract says, and according to the contract I can refuse” Ana said.
“She is right sir” his assistant sitting at the front said.
Ana smiled and her smile widened when she saw his angry face. For once, she had won and she plans on using it to her advantage.
Fernando clenched his fist, he hates it when things don’t go his way “What do you want?” he asked her. He wants his mother to be happy so he is willing to do anything.
Ana smiled “I want you to allow me attend law school, allow me go see my parents when I want to see them and I want to go for a shopping spree”
“Give her the card”
His assistant handed a black card to Ana “The pin is ” the assistant said.
Ana stared at the card with wide eyes and with her mouth wide open. She has heard of this black card and how superior it is, one can shop the whole world with this card and yet he was handing it over to her. Maybe he must have plenty of it.
“Make sure to return it after. You can go to law school and return everyday but for visiting your parents whenever you like you can’t do that. My mother will get suspicious, since Silvia parents is originally oversees so she will wonder who you always visit without returning”
“That’s not a problem, I can go see them on days I go for law school and return back”
“That is settled then”
“What about the room, if we are to stay with your mother, we have to share the same room?”
Fernando was silent, it seems he did not think about that “I will handle that” he suddenly said.
Ana nodded, she looked at the card and smiled. She just got all she wanted by agreeing to moving into his family house.
Imagine her going on a shopping spree with a black card. This felt like a dream, never in her wildest dream would she have thought of having such a privilege. Being wealthy is such a blessing to those who are.
Ana wakes up excited the next day, she is about to go shopping with a black unlimited card.
She immediately prepared to go out. Since she will be shopping for a lot of things, she needed to wear something very flexible.
She picked up two choices, one is a short gown in white color that is free from the waist to the kneel. The other is a blue Jain and a beautiful white top.
The gown would go well but then she might need to bend down. So she decided to go for the luxury Jain and top. She paired it with a beautiful small heel shoe in black and a black Chanel bag.
Ann looked at herself in the mirror and was pleased by her look. All she was wearing was Silvia’s, but today she will go to the mall to shop expensive items for herself, her sister and her parents and buy more home essentials for their new house
She went down stairs and was surprised to see Paula and two maids dressed up in casual clothes instead of their maids uniform.
