Chapter 14 He Is Going To Live With Her
“I do not know,” Paula said, not knowing the reason as well.
Ana did not think much about it and just retired for the night.
The next morning she came down for breakfast and was shocked to see him at the table having breakfast. It seems he didn’t go home last night, maybe because it was too late because the last time she checked, he doesn’t live here.
She looked towards Paula who gestured for her to sit across from him.
Ana sat down and looked towards the man having his breakfast silently and did not even bother to notice her presence.
“Good morning Mr Fernando” she said to him him
“Mmm” was his only response.
“Thank you for picking me up yesterday”
“It will be the first and the last, and if you stay late next time there will be penalties,” Fernando said as he stood up and left.
She looked at his plate and saw that he did not finish his food. Was it because she had sat at the same table as him? Ana did not think too much and just had her breakfast.
Ana spent the rest of her day studying for her law school assessment text. Whether Fernando agrees for her to go or not, she is still going to go in secret. She is just going to be his fake wife for three months, why was he already deciding her life. From the day they did the fake marriage, the three months started counting. She had 12 weeks to be in this fake marriage, after 12 weeks, it will all be over and she can fully return to her family and focus on law school fully.
She spent hours studying until it got dark. Paula had brought lunch for her during the day. Since she doesn’t want to disturb Paula. She decided to go down for dinner.
When she went to the dining room, she was surprised to see Fernando seated having dinner.
She did not think she would see him again after this morning. Why was he back? Does he live here now?
“What would you like to have for dinner Ana?” Paula, who was behind her, asked.
Fernando raised his head and looked towards her.
“Emmm” Ana did not know what to say “I just came down to have some juice, I will have dinner an hour time, and just make me a light dinner by then”
Fernando looked at the time “It’s 8pm, serve her dinner on this table, now” Fernando instructed Paula who nodded and left to do as he said.
Ana opened her mouth to protest but no words came out. Why was he deciding when she was going to have dinner? But then she did not speak and just went to take her seat.
She sat far from him, the table had ten chairs. Two head chairs and four on both sides.
Paula brought her dinner which is a rice dish with chicken added to it.
She had a quiet dinner and made sure to ignore the person with her on the table.
He finished his food, stood up and left and she was glad he did. Now she could feel more at ease, eating her dinner and the dinner tasted so good now.
After she was done, she took her plate to go drop it in the kitchen but Paula refused and collected it from her.
“We have a lot of staff here, you are not meant to carry your plate”
Ana nodded “Thank you for the dinner, can you get me some juice so I can take upstairs”
“Sure” Paula said and returned with the juice a few minutes later.
She collected it and thanked Paula, she was about to leave but stopped when she recalled something “Mr Fernando stayed yesterday till the morning and also returned today”
“Yes, the young master said he will be staying here from now on. I had prepared his room and home office earlier today”
Ana was surprised but nodded in understanding “okay, good night Paula”
“Good night Ana”
Ana laid on the bed after freshening up. She thought about Fernando living here now and wondered why.
Should she ask him? She thought to herself and decided against it. It was his house, he could choose to stay wherever he wanted.
Ana had decided to study a bit more and ended up sleeping late.
It was 10am when she woke up the next day and was informed that the master of the house had left. She was so relieved that she did not have to face him again this morning.
She had called her parents to ask how they are doing and after talking with them for an hour. She went to take her bath and dressed up in something simple. She put on a white long free gown that only fitted in her waist and she also dried and stretched her hair.
She had skipped breakfast and it was already noon. She went down stairs to have lunch when she overheard Paula on a phone call.
“Oh my God, the madam fainted!! She is at the hospital right now? I will inform her and we will both rush there now!!”
Ana rushed to her when she heard Mrs Buenavista was rushed to the hospital “What happened Paula!!”
“We have to rush to the family hospital, the madam fainted” Paula said in a rush and in panick
Ana’s heart skipped “Oh no, I will go up and get my bag so we can go”
Paula nodded.
Ana went up and rushed to get her purse with her phone. She forgot she did not have her eye contact on. So she immediately put it on and wore a tiny heel shoe.
When she went down, Paula was ready in the car waiting for her.
An hour later they arrived at the Buenavista hospital and went to the top floor where her room was.
She and Paula literally ran there.
While they were on their way here, she had asked Paula if Fernando was already informed and she said his phone was unreachable but she had sent a message and also contacted his assistant.
They got to her hospital room which was heavily guarded by bodyguards.
The bodyguard bowed their heads when they saw her and immediately let her in.
She was stunned by their show of respect, but immediately remembered that she was acting as Fernando’s wife so it was natural for them to show her respect.
She rushed towards Mrs Buenavista who was laying on the hostel bed.
“Mother in-law” she called out and Mrs Buenavista who was now awake turned to look at her.
