Chapter 72

Days passed by, and Riana remembered how Killian betrayed herRiana by choosing to mate with someone else instead. Riana was devastated and felt betrayed by the one she loved. It gives him the courage to avoid and stop her secret affair with him.

"I must remember how he betrayed me!" she said emphatically while looking at him from a distance.

But despite it all, there was still a strong connection between them. Alpha Killian and Riana were still drawn to one another, and neither could deny the pull between them.

She saw him looking at her and smiling sparingly. She can't deny the fact that she gets hurt while looking at him. She really wanted to be close to him.

"But Why do I stupidly miss him?!" she asked herself.

She walked fast and get inside in her room. She lay on her bed and close her eyes as she took a deep breath.

"I should avoid you and go back to Valentin. I want to change that stupid plan of mine!" she told herself firmly.

But One fateful day, Alpha Killian suddenly hugged her Riana from behind. He had been thinking of her all day and needed to feel her close. Riana was surprised and confused, but she allowed him to embrace her for a moment.

Deep down, she wanted to stay in his arms forever, but it was impossible. They were mated to other alphas now and had to be careful. If anyone found out about their relationship, it could bring disaster to their pack.

Riana knew that Alpha Killian had betrayed her, but she still loved him. She was torn between her loyalty to her alpha and her love for Alpha Killian. She felt like she was living a lie, and it was becoming increasingly difficult to keep up the facade.

Riana felt like Alpha Killian was to blame for everything that had happened. But even though she was angry and hurt, she still wanted to be close to him. How long could they keep up the facade of pretending to be okay with each other, while also betraying their alpha and Luna and their packs?

"You are the one to blame here so please leave me alone," she raised her voice to Alpha Killian.

Killian apologizes for betraying her before, and explains that he did it out of fear and desperation. He begged Riana to forgive him, but she refused. She said she can't risk being betrayed again and banished him from her pack.

"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry, please. How many times I told you I already regret everything I have done to you,"

"Let's avoid each other and please stay away from me!" she said emphatically and leave.

A few months later, Riana finds herself thinking of Killian and missing him. Though she still feels the pain of his betrayal before, she can't help but love him. She decides to take a chance and seek him out.

One day, she saw him in the middle of the forest while she was walking on green grass.

When she finds him, Killian is surprised to see her. He expresses his sorrow for what he had done and Riana can't help but forgive him. She confesses her love for him and their relationship is rekindled.

"Please talk to me, Riana, "Alpha Killian begged her.

"There's nothing to talk about!"she replied emphatically.

"Please I know you still want me,"Alpha killian begged her emotionally.

"Please stop torturing me.Please stay away from me,Killian!"she raised her voice.

But she was very shocked and her eyes widened when Alpha Killian suddenly kissed her lips.

"Uhmmm,"

When the opportunity arose for her to join Killian in a cave for the night, Riana jumped at the chance.

She was nervous as she entered the dark cave, but Killian's presence was calming and comforting. As they lay down together, Riana felt her heart race as Killian's passionate embrace engulfed her. His lips met hers again and she could feel his body pressed against hers as they moved in unison.

The passion between them was intense as they explored each other's bodies. The air was filled with their moans and the sound of their bodies colliding. Riana felt as if she had stepped into a dream as Killian's hands explored her body.

Eventually, their lovemaking came to an end and Riana lay in Killian's arms as they stared into the darkness of the cave. She felt a sense of peace and contentment as she felt Killian's warm embrace around her.

For the first time in a long time, Riana felt truly alive and free. She knew that her night with Killian was one she would never forget.

They heard their moans and feel the power of their love at those moments.

Riana awoke with a start, the morning light streaming into the cave and casting its rays on Alpha Killian, who was still fast asleep. She knew that it was dangerous for her to be there; if anyone caught them together in the cave, it would mean trouble for both of them.

Gently, she slipped out from under the blanket and tiptoed out of the cave. Her heart was beating fast as she made her way back to the castle.

Upon her arrival, Riana was surprised to see Zillah waiting for her outside the gate. She wore a smug expression on her face as she asked Riana where she had been.

Riana tried not to show her fear and instead replied with a vague answer, "I was out for a walk." She knew that Zillah wasn't fooled by her words, but she didn't care.

Riana knew that she had to be more careful in the future. If she wanted to protect her relationship with Alpha Killian, she would have to be more discreet. Until then, she would have to face the consequences of her actions.

"I don't believe you. You are Villain!" Zillah accused her.

"Really? How come!" she defended herself.

"You have nop proof, Zillah!" she added.

"Just tell the truth in front of us, Riana," Zillah said sarcastically.

"I don't have to prove myself just to be innocent in your eyes. Look you are the one who take Killian away from me before. Remember?!"she asked emphatically.

"How sad. You are afraid of your own shadow,"she smiled sarcastically.

"Riana!"she shouted.

"I'll go ahead,"she smiled.

One week after..

Riana watched in confusion as Zillah, her old rival, stepped forward and apologized in front of their two packs. She had just accused Riana and Alpha Killian of having a secret affair and had been argumentative during their recent dispute.

"I'm sorry,Riana. I just want us to be okay and be friends,"Zillah said gently.

"A--Are you serious??!"Riana asked,confused.

"Ofcourse,Riana. I know It's weird but I want it. I want to apologize and I hope you forgive me,"Zillah replied.

Riana couldn't understand why Zillah would suddenly act so kindly toward her. Was she playing some sort of game?

"Okay? hmm!" Riana took a deep breath.

Riana was about to ask what was going on when Zillah spoke again. "I'm sorry,"she said, her voice low and sincere. "I was wrong to accuse you and Alpha Killian of having a secret affair. I was wrong to start an argument with you, and I hope you can forgive me."

"No problem. It's just a small thing,Zillah,"she said firmly.

"So friends?"Zillah asked,smiling.

Riana was shocked. She had never seen Zillah act this way before. She had always been so aggressive and rude. But here she was, apologizing with genuine emotion.

Riana felt a wave of compassion and understanding wash over her. It was then that she realized what Zillah was really doing. She was trying to make amends, not just for the argument but for all the pain and hurt she had caused over the years.

Riana smiled and nodded at Zillah. She accepted her apology and promised to make peace between their two packs.

As Riana walked away, she looked back at Zillah one last time. She still didn't know why Zillah had acted so differently, but she was sure of one thing.

Zillah had changed.
