Chapter 49 Who Were You?

Looking at Amabel's appearance, he asked the staff beside him for help, "Miss, can you help me bring her out. I'm afraid that she's been drinking too much and it's not good for her health."

As soon as they heard that Amabel was drinking, the rest of the staff all came over and scrambled to look inside through the glass on the box door.

And at this time, there were noises coming from the box.

"Who's this kid, coming in to steal our beer."

"Staff, staff..."

The guests shouted angrily. The door of the box was pushed open. A man was dragging Amabel, shouted towards the staff, "What's the matter with you? Who's the child? She ran in to drink all our wine, and ate our snacks."

Saying that, he pushed Amabelh aside, "Call your manager."

He looked like he was drunk, but he was still conscious.

The staff was scared. The female boss stood behind him, looked slightly angry, but she quickly calmed down.

The man looked at the female boss swinishly, "This little guy stole our food, quickly find her parents and make them pay for it."

This guy was obviously trying to find an excuse not to pay.

Carl had made a big mistake. Not only would he have to pay for it, but also he probably wouldn't even be able to keep his job.

The female boss looked towards Carl, "The money will be deducted from his salary."

Carl was stunned and then he gratefully smiled, "Thank you very much."

The female boss looked at Carl. If not for the director who had orders to take special care of him, she would have told him to get lost.

As soon as the man heard that he didn't have to pay, the man showed a smile, pushing Amabel out of the box.

Carl pulled Amabel aside, said with a long face, "Now you're happy! I've lost a week's salary."

Amabel treated as if nothing had happened, looked at Carl, smugly smiled. She probably drank too much beer, slumped, fell towards the ground. Carl saw this and helplessly bitterly smiled.

Just as Carl was about to walk away, the man walked out. His eyes fell from the female boss's ass and her breasts. He pretended to be angry and said, "Boss, I'll give you five hundred dollars. How about coming in and having a drink with me?"

Saying that, he leaned towards the lady boss. As soon as he was about to touch her ass, he got a heavy blow in the face, and a front tooth popped out of his mouth.

The incisor tooth made a graceful arc in the air and landed on the hallway table, spinning in place.

Carl took his fist back and froze at the front tooth. He hadn't used his full strength just now, not expecting that he had knocked the man's front tooth out.

The female boss saw this and looked at Carl in surprise.

The man looked straight at the front teeth, jumped up, pointed at Carl and cursed, "You son of a bitch. You dare to hit me. Do know who I am? I gotta kill you today."

After he finished, then he raised his fist towards Carl's face. Now Carl was holding the drunken Amabel, and couldn’t dodge. He was going to hit on Carl's face, but then Carl heard him shouting, and then he sat on the ground.

Carl froze. His eyes fell on the female boss, and he saw that she was bending over to polish her high heels.

A few security guards came over and looked at the man lying on the ground. The female boss pretended that nothing had happened, "He's drunk and causing trouble. You guys send him outside to sober up."

A few security guards nodded and dragged the man out.

Carl was so dumbfounded. It took a long time for him to react, "Thank you!"

"You're not fit to work here, so go away!" The female boss didn't even look at him and walked towards the end of the hallway.

It was hard to find a job, so he couldn’t lose it! Carl still didn't give up and chased after her, "Boss, what happened just now was a misunderstanding. Please forgive me. I promise it won't happen again."

The boss stopped, "Good, I'll give you one more chance. If something like this happens again, you will resign on your own."

Carl was so excited and smiled.

An hour later, Carl walked out from the conference room of the Human Resources Source Department and placed Amabel inside a box with no guests. She had just drunk a lot of beer and probably wouldn't wake up in a short time.

After walking down the corridor, he was nervous. These staff members were all women, only Carl a man, which made him very odd.

A staff member came over pushing a cart of beer and snacks and said, "Why are you on the second floor?"

Carl looked up. Only then did he remember that she was the staff member on the first floor just now, "The boss said to let me familiarize myself with the environment, and asked me to deliver beer today."

"Alright!"

The female staff laughed out loud, "What's your name?"

"What about you, Carl?"

"Everyone calls me Gia. You can just call me Gia from now on."

Carl nodded.

"The owner of this entertainment place of ours is especially strict. As soon as she sees the staff make a slight mistake, she will immediately persuade her to leave."

Saying that, she continued, "Last time, there was a colleague who mistakenly sent chicken gristle to a customer but not chicken's wings. The boss just bumped into her, and she was fired straight away. Just yesterday, a colleague of mine dozed off at work and had the bad luck to be bumped into by the boss, and she was directly fired."

Carl was afraid as he listened.

When Gia saw his look, she couldn't help but laugh. She pointed to the pager in her hand, "This is a treasure. As long as the boss comes to inspect the shop, my good friend will be the first to notify me. You just follow me, to make sure you won't get caught by the boss."

Saying that, she proudly smiled.

Carl listened. It seemed that Gia was a skilled hand.

"The supervisor said, I'll lead you this time," Gia said, pushing the car towards a presidential compartment.

Carl followed behind.

"Although the salary here is only moderate, the commission is high. If you sell a fruit plate, you will have five dollars commission. The largest fruit plate has nine layers, one layer of fruit plate worth of five dollars, and two layers of fruit plate worth of seven dollars..."

"There's also beer. A dozen of American light beer worth of a commission of two dollars, and Carlsberg and other beers."

Saying that, Gia continued, "If you sell well and can promote it, you'll get a commission of four or five hundred dollars a day. Otherwise, you just get a few dollars a day."

Carl nodded, "You're already in college at this age. So why did you come here to work?"

"I’m trying to earn tuition! I'll put it to you this way! I can pay for half a year's tuition by taking a month's class here. I study and work at the same time, and the money I earn now is enough to buy a lot of things."

Carl laughed and didn't say anything.

Gia said curiously, "Is that little girl your daughter?"

Carl was about to answer when she made a silent gesture, "The supervisor from the second floor is here."

Carl looked towards the front and saw a twenty-two or twenty-three-year-old, handsome looking man coming this way, seeing Carl and Gia standing together, looking very unhappy, "Are you new here?"

Carl nodded his head.

The man glared at Carl, "You don't know any rules. Don’t wander around. If you don't want to do it, get lost right now."

Hearing such words, Carl was angry, mother fucker. This brat was obviously looking for troubles because he didn't make any mistakes.

Gia pulled a corner of his garment and whispered, "This guy is the son of a bitch. You just ignore him. Ever since he confessed to me last month and was rejected by me, as long as he sees someone with me, he will find fault with him."

Presumably, this supervisor was jealous of seeing him and Gia together, laughing, and was going to find fault with him.

"What are you screaming for? Don't think you're great just because you're a supervisor. Besides, it's my right to be with whomever I'm with. It has nothing to do with you." Gia looked angry, "If you keep this up, I'm going to tell my boss."
