Chapter 83
Jack’s POV

“You’re such a bad liar do you think I didn’t do my research before walking into this dungeon?”
She gasped and took a few steps back in fright,she didn’t think I would see through her lies.

“At least I gave you a chance.” I said trying to walk away, the truth is I had searched and searched but it turns out no one is posting their weaknesses on the internet. That’s why I came to her, I didn’t know the answer but at least I know what’s not the answer.

“It’s helium. Helium gas can destroy dragons from my home country. Please let me out of here, I beg you!”
She burst into tears and I was tempted to open the cell and let her out but no. Not yet.

I turn around again to face her, 

“I will let you out but at dawn. We will take a flight…”
“No, no planes please.” She protested.

“Why?”
“If my people see a plane approaching which is not a traditional airline they will shoot it down.” She explained.

“Okay, so how do you suggest that I take you back?”
“On land, you can drive, Warren can drive.” She said.

With the way she mentioned our names. I just knew that she had plans for the two of us, but no worries. I had plans for her too.

“Sure,” I said walking away.
“Jack! Wait.”

I stopped and turned around, 
“You’re going to let me have Bliss’s body right?”

I shook my head, “that’s for Scarlett to decide.”

As I walked away, I thought of Scarlett, what haven’t I said? Yet she refuses to return home. I want to go into the wild and find her myself but that would also be a problem, my pack won’t allow me to abandon my duties and go into the woods in search of my luna. The public didn’t even know that their Luna had left though there were rumours. Nothing had been confirmed.

I went back to my den and met with Warren who was waiting for me.

“Late at night, we will start our journey. I will hand over my duties to the head of the council, and the two of us will be our way.” I informed him and he nodded in approval.
“What are we taking along?” He asked.

“Some guns, knives and some helium gas.”
“Helium?”

“A dragon’s weakness.” I informed him.

He nodded in approval. When he left, I sat down slowly and linked Scarlett. 

“Hello, I know you’re listening. Today I will be taking Marie out of Silvermoon. I don’t know where I will be taking her yet but I will be driving her through the mountains. I will share my location with you. If you’re still interested in revenge, now is the time, please come back. I miss you.”

After that I sat quietly thinking about Marie. It hurts that things turned out this way, it hurts because I thought I had someone who genuinely cared for me and I had grown to like her so much I though we could be together forever and none of that was real. Even now that I am in love with Scarlett I still care about Marie, I wish I could do something to save her but I can’t she killed Becky and she won’t be forgiven.

Marie POV

The sun had gone down when Jack ordered my release, with my wrists in cuffs I silently followed the guards to the van. Warren was behind the wheel and  Jack with me in the backseat. Just three of us, that’s okay for me, I can handle the two of them, I may look like a weak and helpless girl but they don’t know what abilities I have.

As we drive out of the territory of Silvermoon and drive up the mountains I start thinking of my plan, I was only waiting till we were high up the mountain then I will show them what I can do.

I must have fallen asleep, when I opened my eyes it was sun rise, Warren and Jack had stepped out of the car to check something. I smiled, this was my time to strike.

I pounded on the door till Jack walked up to me, 
“I need to pee.” I informed him.

He stared at my cuffs and back at me, maybe regretting not bring in a woman along. He opened the door and helped me out,
“You need to take the chain off.” I said.

“No, I will help you.”
“No Jack, no. are you afraid of me now? Do I look like I can fight?” I questioned him.

He stared at warren and back at me, 

“I can’t release you” He replied. 
I nodded, “Okay fine. Then take of my underwear so I can pee.” I replied.

He boldly walked up to me to try and take off my clothes, that was when I blew my hot breath that almost burned him, he took a few steps back and I took to my heels. I wasn’t trying to run away I was trying to get him to chase me, and it worked, the two of of them chased relentlessly after me,

Then I showed them another part of my power the; shifting the rocks in the mountains. It was like an earthquake and they both lost their balance. I had to use this power wisely because it lasted for only 4 minutes. I floated in the air while the mountains shook and rocks flew in different directions. Then it happened to Jack Just like it happened to Frederick. Warren was at the edge of the cliff clinging to it for dear life. Jack grabbed him and pulled him back onto the mountains faster than I thought he would, but there was still time for me to put him down. I landed on my feet and threw myself at Jack pushing him off the cliff. Warren screamed as he watched with horror Jack falling from that height to his obvious death.
