R O M E.

When I felt arms on my eyes, I knew it was hers. I could feel it, for the first time I felt the mate bound run through me like crazy. At the moment, she was sitting next to me and she was trying her very best to ignore me, I didn’t want to bother her so I focused my attention on my phone, I was happy like crazy that I had gotten her back.

The drive to the Lethal mansion was a very smooth one, my father made sure that it was close to the airport because he couldn’t stand traveling like a normal person. So, In not less than ten minutes, we were driving into the Lethal mansion, and I must say, the exterior has changed over the years and I hated what Dominic had done to the mansion. When the car parked in front of it, I hopped out and so did Natalia and the weird blonde human, I simply cannot stand humans, they are very annoying and weak.

We all took calm strides into the mansion. It looked very human-like and it irritates me a lot.

“Eden!” I called the name of the blonde man.

“Yes, boss!” He replied.

“I want you to make away with all this ugly furniture, please get me new ones, I don’t like them,” I said, Eden, looked confused and so did Natalia. I turned towards Natalia and grabbed her arm tightly, she looked very shocked by my action but didn’t show it.

I dragged her upstairs and I was sure Eden was very confused at the moment, I could feel his emotions through my sixth sense. I dragged her to my room, I always keep it locked with my magic and my presence is the only thing that can open it.

“What do you fucking want?” She said when I tossed her into the room.

“Why did you leave me?” I asked, it was a very dumb question because I knew the reason why she left me.

“Is that even a question, you’re a beast and no woman can stay with you or love you!” She yelled.

“Shut up!” I snapped at her, she looked very shocked. “You don’t know anything about me, you never asked about me, all you knew was that you loved me,” I said.

“Are you mad? Didn’t I try my best to speak to you? You always fucking push me away.” She said, tears cascading down her eyes.

“That’s because I was cursed, but you broke it. After I fell in love with you, the curse broke.” I said. She rolled her eyes.

“Well congratulations, can you bring my brother back?” She asked, I looked away.

“I thought so too, stay away from me Rome Lethal, I hate you very much and I wish you’d disappear from my life forever.” She said venomously, I grabbed her waist and pressed her body upon mine harshly.

“Then why do I make you feel all this? Why can’t you stare into my eyes?” I asked, and she looked away.

“You don’t make me feel anything for you except hatred Rome Lethal, you’re a beast and you deserve nothing but to be lonely forever!” She said, I felt my heart pounding in my chest, her words hurt me a lot, and I let go of her slowly.

I stared at her calmly and she turned around and sashayed her way out of my room. I couldn’t believe what had just happened, she had just rejected me. I now got to understand how she had felt whenever I said mean things to her, I am sure it must have hurt her a lot.

I used my telekinesis to lock the door shut, I lay on my bed after untying my tie. I was very hurt and I could feel Blaze’s emotion, he was slowly coming out of hiding, he was very shy to meet Natalia, he felt he was at fault for not being able to control our demon. It wasn’t I that killed Simone, it was my Demon and that was the very first time he came out of hiding. He too had grown fond of Natalia and had fallen in love with her, who could blame him though, Natalia was a very amazing soul.

I decided to get out of bed and take a shower, I had clothes to wear and so I dressed up in jogger pants and a plain black shirt. When I was done, I applied oil perfume and lotion to my skin. I ambulated out of my room and headed downstairs, I could hear laughter resonate through the mansion, it was Natalia and I also could hear Eden’s laughter, they sounded very happy.

As soon as I came into view, Eden immediately sat up and adjusted his posture. “Boss, I’ve ordered new types of furniture, they’ll be here tomorrow,” Eden said, I nodded, but my gaze was mainly on Natalia, she was wearing a camisole and her suit pants. Her body was exposed and my demon did not like the fact that she was exposed to Eden’s view.

“Go and change into something more decent,” I said to her through our mate mind link.

“You don’t own me! And I can see whatever I want.” She responded harshly. I turned my gaze to Eden.

“Eden,” I called out to him.

“Take one of the cars and go get Natalia new clothes, go to Juliana's stores and tell her Rome lethal wants her best dresses, take a picture of Natalia and show it to her,” I said and Eden nodded, though he looked very confused. Natalia on the other hand didn’t say a thing.

“Eden I’ll come with you!” She said. I heard Blaze growl.

“You know what Eden, stay here and take care of the house, I’ll personally take Natalia to Juliana,” I said, Eden nodded once again, that seemed to be the one thing he could perfectly do.

“Let’s go!” I said to her.

“I don’t wanna go any longer, you can just take a picture of me and show it to Juliana.” She crossed her arm across her chest. I snapped my finger and Eden immediately froze as he became a statue.

“What did you do to him?” She asked worriedly.

“He’s not dead,” I said reassuringly. She didn’t seem to trust me at all. “As soon as we teleport it’ll feel very normal to him,” I said and snapped my finger again, we teleported into Juliana’s store, and the moment Juliana saw me, she gasped.

“Your highness! What a pleasant surprise to have you here.” Juliana said, I smiled. She is a werewolf, but she was mated to a human so she had to move to the human territory, her mate, unfortunately, died eleven years ago, yeah the same time I also lost Emerald.

NATALIA.

The lady he had brought me to was acting very weird, she kept on staring at him as though she wanted to eat him alive.

She was seriously annoying me. “Who is this pretty lady?” She asked, before Rome could speak, I beat him to it.

“He is my boss!” I said, I could vividly see the hurt in his eyes, I decided to pay any attention because I did not care whether my words hurt him or not.

“Juli, I want some of your best dresses for her please,” Rome said after gulping down some saliva, it was evident how hurt he was at the moment. I didn’t care, I stared at Juli plainly, she seemed like a very fake person.

“Of course, come with me miss, you’re in luck, some new designs got shipped in yesterday.” She said I didn’t even care about any new design. We walked into the changing room and she handed me a bunch of clothes, mostly dresses. They all looked very fancy so I decided to wear them, I tried them all and picked the ones I felt looked great on me. Juli walked in from time to time, she had said she loved all the dresses on me, I knew she knew I was Rome’s mate. There was a way she stared at me, as though I had stolen a treasure from her. Well, I was undressing at the moment, I was only in my undergarments, my brassier wasn’t even on and suddenly Rome entered. I screamed and covered my chest with my hands. He chuckled and rolled his eyes.

“I hope you know I’ve seen and touched more than that.” He said, his words simply disgusted me at the moment.

“Get out!” I yelled.

“Relax, I came to return your phone, your friend Sophie has been calling.” He said, he passed the phone over to me and I grabbed it. I looked up and he was still standing there.

“What?” I snapped at him.

“Nothing, it’s just that I miss your blue hate, it looked way better on you than this one.” He said, I rolled my eyes, I do not need his suggestions. He finally walked out and I immediately got dressed, there was no way I was in for another round of embarrassment over again.
