N A T A L I A.

I was lying peacefully in my room in LA, Rome had a very beautiful room selected for me. I didn’t care about his efforts to win my heart, I only wanted to be out of here real soon. Today we had no meeting because it was postponed, I decided to stay in my room all day and chat with Sophie and watch movies on Netflix, I didn’t want Rome to see my face today, that was my plan.

I heard a knock coming from my door, I turned around to find Eden standing there with a tray of food in his arms. “Eden! Come in!” I said I was wearing a crop top and shorts, Edens's eyes gently scanned my body, I felt a bit embarrassed that he was seeing me in this state but I didn’t want to let him notice.

“I brought you lunch,” He walked in, he was smiling nervously, he sat on the bed and placed the tray of food before me. When I tried to adjust my posture, my beast jiggled and I was certain he saw it, from the way his lips patted a bit.

“Thank you!” I said, he picked a soda from the tray and opened it, he poured the soda into his mouth.

“You should have this, it’s so nice! Good soda!” Eden said, I extended my arm to collect it but he was trying to feed it to me, I didn’t want to seem rude so I decided to let him feed me, I drank the soda from his arm calmly until a voice startled us both.

“What is going on here?” Rome asked, he darted his eyes and shot a glare at Eden, Eden got the message and got up.

“Mr. Eden Smith, I believe you know this is a business trip, I don’t appreciate you roaming around the mansion and being in my PA’s roam,” He said, his words rolling out of his mouth with so much anger in them.

“I’m sorry sir!” Eden said, he immediately got up from my bed and scurried away. Rome turned and stared at me, he crossed his arm around his chest, and the magically locked.

“Why are you shutting the door?”

I asked, he didn’t say a word and took calm strides toward me.

“I don’t like him, and I don’t like you being around him, you’re mine!” Rome said sternly, I won’t lie, I felt very amazed by his tone.

“I’m not yours, now get the fuck out of my room!” I snapped at him, he smiled, I couldn't help but feel annoyed by the way he stared at me as though I was mad.

“I’ve marked you, you’re mine and you’re my kingdom Queen, whether you like it or not, you’re going to be coming back with me to the pack.” He said, I was so amazed by his audacity and the way he stared at me.

“I’m going nowhere with you, now fuck out!” I yelled, and he began to approach me calmly, I was so terrified but I sat out. He sat on the bed, and a smile appeared on his face. He began to laugh, a burst of laughter I’d never heard before from him.

“You know, staring at you makes me very happy, you know?” He said, I rolled my eyes.

“Get out of here Rome, I don’t wanna speak to you, I don’t even understand why you are here,” I said, he smiled.

“I must say, I love your brown hair as well, it makes you look like a cute baby!” He said I was so shocked to see this side of him.

“Are you sure you are okay?” I asked he nodded.

“I am! I’m very happy to be sitting with you.” He said, he sounded very weird, and I couldn’t help but chuckle.

“I’m certain you are not okay now!” I tried to get up but he held my arm, he pulled me back down.

“Where do you think you are going to?” He said I was so dumbstruck by the way he was speaking. I couldn’t help but chuckle because of how he was acting.

“You’re sick Rome! I’m hungry, get out.” I said. He snapped his finger and the tray landed on my lap.

“Eat! Don’t let that human feed you ever again, I don’t like that.” He said, he did another snapping of his finger and a spoon of the food magically started floating towards my lips.

“Stop!” I yelled. He was confused, the food spilled on the floor.

“What happens?” He asked.

“I don’t like rice!” I found myself pouting as I spoke to him.

“I can make something for you, come,” He said, he scanned my outfit from head to toe and shook his head no.

“You can’t go outside dressed like this, I don’t want that human staring at what’s mine.” He said.

“Again? I’m not your Rome, and I’m not eating anything you cook.” I said to him sternly. He wasn’t pissed at all, he was smiling, suddenly I felt a light breeze blowing on my hair.

“Stop that!” I said, I knew he was the one doing it. He chuckled and without a warning, we teleported into the kitchen.

“I said I don’t want you to cook for me!” I snapped at him. He used his telekinesis to lift me, he dropped me on the island and when I tried getting up, my butt was pinned to it.

“What the hell did you do, you hybrid!” I yelled at him, and he chuckled.

“I see, Rowland has been feeding you my likes and dislikes. I’m not a hybrid by the way.” He said, I rolled my eyes.

“Don’t waste your time cooking for me! I won’t eat.” I snapped at him, he didn’t even behave as if a human was speaking, he brought out the pots and put them on the fire after filling them with water. He went towards the refrigerator and brought out a ball of cabbage, I simply stared at him intently.

“You know, I bought these cabbages because of you, I knew you’d love them.” He said, I didn’t respond, I tried to reach for my phone in my pocket but I realized I had left it in the room.

“Let me down, I wanna get my phone, I’m bored,” I said, he chuckled, he didn’t show any sign of letting me go, he kept cutting the cabbages with so much enthusiasm.

“Are you deaf?” I asked, he turned to look at me, he was smiling like some sort of a schoolboy.

“I said let me down, you weirdo,” I said to him. He was not even moved in the slightest.

“I don’t want that human to see you dressed like this, you’re mine.” He said, I was very dumbfounded, and I stared at him with my lips agape.

“You know I’ve done more worst-” Before I could complete my statement, he was before him, he placed his arm over my mouth.

“Don’t say that, unless you want me to kill any who has ever laid his hands on what was mine,” He said, I was very surprised, this new side of him was very thrilling, I must say.

“Tell me, did any man ever touch you?” He asked, I gulped.

“Yes!” I said that seemed to piss him off.

“I know you are lying, but the idea of a man touching you, makes me wanna kill every man in the world so that no man except I will have you.” I shivered when he said that, my heart was practically beating at an abnormal pace.

“Move away from me!” I snapped at him. He moved away calmly.

“You’re mine Natalia, and you’ll understand that soon.” He said, I shivered a bit. My heart was beating very fast, the mate bound was doing something to me. He returned to making the sauerkraut, I watched him intently as he carefully did everything, it was amazing watching him, it brought out old memories.

“You know, I also had fun cooking with you that day!” He said, wait, did he just read my thoughts?

“Don’t do that shit, I hate it, my thoughts are mine, got it?” I said to him, and he chuckled.

“Well, I can hear your thoughts because I’m your mate, not because I’m a triple hybrid or anything.” He said, I shook my head, werewolves are crazy.

“We are not crazy, your food is ready my love.” He turned around with a bowl of sauerkraut.

“I’m not eating, did you think I was joking?” I said to him, he raised his left brow and my lips patted. He pushed a spoon of sauerkraut into my mouth and he dropped his brows and I swallowed it.

“Magic should be banned,” I said as soon as my mouth was empty.

“I’m a king, the lethal king.” He said he dropped the food on the island.

“Now, eat!” He commanded.

“No!” I said, he chuckled.

“I’m your Alpha and you are to obey my commands, now eat!” He snapped at me, I felt a surge of power run over me and I nodded and reached for the spoon. I scooped it and poured it into my mouth, he stared at me with great satisfaction in his eye. Bradox scowled, he didn’t like the idea of an Alpha commanding a royal dragon like him.

“Hm, very good!” Rome said. He snapped his finger again and I was in my room, he didn’t follow. The sauerkraut was in my arm and it tasted just like I had last had it, it was very tasty. When I was done eating, I decided to dress up and take the plate to the kitchen in other to get it washed. Arriving there, I saw Eden eating a plate of sauerkraut.

“You are the best chef in the world!” He said, I laughed.

“I didn’t make that, it was Rome.”‘I said, he immediately dropped the plate on the island.

“Oh my God, do you know where I can order a replacement?” Eden asked, I couldn’t help but burst into a burst of laughter.

“I’m sure he won’t complain,” I said, I picked up his plate took it to the basin, and washed and rinsed it.

“You seem to know a lot about him, is he seems to like you a lot.” He said, I chuckled nervously.

“Did you guys ever date?” He asked. I chuckled nervously.

“No!” I said, he laughed.

“Hmm, I’m sure there’s more to you two than a job, I’ll see you later by the way,” Eden said, he picked a soda from the refrigerator and walked away. Leaving me to think about what he had just said, he was right, I could see the love for me in Rome’s eyes.

I decided to discard all the thoughts, the kitchen looked very dirty and it was already evening, which meant the maids had retired for the day. I decided to clean up the kitchen, it was really dirty and I couldn’t stand it, I cleared it and then decided to retire to bed, I was very tired. Heading towards the stairs, I heard a cough coming from Rome’s room. I wanted to ignore it but it was loud, I then decided to go in, only to find him lying on the floor, his nose was bleeding.

“Rome!” I called. “I thought you said the curse was broken,” I said, I immediately held him tightly, I was very scared, I didn’t want anything to happen to him.

“It’s my demon, he is taking one making me feel this pain.” He said. I was very confused, but, I still held him tightly. His body was shaking violently and the blood kept sipping out of his nose.

“Don’t leave me, please.” He said, suddenly I felt him being weightless, I was very terrified, When I checked his pulse, they weren’t moving, I decided to check his heartbeat as well and it also was paused. Could he be dead?
