94. The Batch

Damon arrived and so did Hector alongside his precious mate.

He held her back as she saw at least twenty people standing in a straight line across the field.

A team of betas surrounded them from the back lines, and Rani caught sight of her best friend Sora who was now part of Damon and Hector's pack.

"All the fresh lambs will now turn into fearsome wolves and abide by the rules and order of the Blood Moon pack..." Theo started.

Rani was not happy about this, but she couldn't do anything as she watched helplessly beside Hector. He'd let her know that those that wanted to be werewolves had signed a contract and already received money for becoming werewolves, even after knowing that their bite could be fatal. Many wanted this, they craved power, youth and for the ability to be strong. On the other hand, some trembled in their toes.

A dark blonded headed man of around 21 years Jon, was extremely nervous. He'd only accepted the offer to help cover his ill mother's medical bills.

Damon then stepped towards the front line and stood next to a beta who'd been part of his pack for more than twenty years.

After Theo finished explaining about the benefits of joining the pack after they were initiated with the bite Damon looked towards his new potential recruits, like a natural-born leader.

"Those that break the rules like Joe here, who messed with my casino funds and tried to embezzle my company."

"What?" Joe's heart pounded as he tried to escape from Damon's side, however, the Alpha was quick and held him firmly by his shoulder and let out a furious growl, that shook the ground around them.

Damon easily snapped the beta wolf's neck fast without warning and looked towards the new recruits who nervously sweated across their faces and trembled to their core as they watched the bulky man drop lifelessly upon the ground.

"Get taken care off." He said ruthlessly. Damon then kicked the dead corpse and the lambs watched in fear as Joe's body went flying up against the tree with more sounds of bone cracking.

One of the batch members already started peeing himself scared $hitless of seeing Damon's furious red glowing eyes.

"So here's the deal. Stick to the code of honour, respect and loyalty to the pack house and I promise you will enjoy your life to the fullest so long as you don't screw me or my Co-Alpha brother Hector over."

Some of them nodded their heads in response.

"Don't worry about the bite too much. Relax and enjoy it, and if you die you're families will be compensated." Damon rest assured.

"Betas walked towards your lamb," Theo ordered.

The twenty betas chosen personally by Damon started to walk towards their prey. Some of them freaked out and decided to run, but the betas easily ran after their targets and brought them down biting them upon their shoulders and arms, making them cry out in pain.

"Sora don't!" Rani yelled as she saw her walking towards the calm-looking man who had no fear in his eyes. It was like he waited all his life for this moment.

Sora glanced towards Rani and shot her a guilty look. Her own life had changed due to the bite and she'd been saved by Damon. Her Alpha, to whom she owed a lot. She turned a blind eye towards Rani and her pleas.

Damon then walked over towards Hector who stood next to his beloved.

"I'm glad you're here Rani."

"Shut up Damon, this is wrong!"

"It's not wrong if they've signed the survival contract. They know of the consequences yet all of them are here on their own accord."

"Bull$hit you bought them!"

"That too." Damon grinned as she saw Sora pull out her fangs and bit the man hard upon his neckline, making him cry out of pain as she clawed at his arm heavily.

The last batch member Jon freaked out as he saw Ren coming towards him.

"No! Please, no!!" Jon cried out as Ren pulled out her claws and scratched at his chest as she let out a low growl.

"Hector help him!" Rani pleaded.

Hector was too busy watching the humans being bitten and bleeding before him.

Damon kept a close eye on him and was prepared to dive a syringe threw him thanks to the back up he bought from Alaska just in case he lost his bloodthirsty side of him once more.

"REN STOP!" Rani rushed towards her and Ren immediately stopped as she came on the field.

With the new humans now turning into their feral selves they easily target Rani.

"RANI WATCH OUT!" Ren screamed bothering about the lamb whom she was meant to bite.

Suddenly in a fast flash, a shadow came towards her and kicked the newly turned werewolf away. Rani gasped as Hector turned around with his silver glowing powerful eyes. The beta then dragged away the unconscious beta and Damon then released the lambs from the corner after signally at Theo.

"Achilles?" Rani whispered seeing him after a long, long time.

His glowing eyes darted towards the last man who was trying to climb over the crisscross fence wall. He went down on all fours and growled as he turned and chased him in his true form.

"NO!" Rani cried as Achilles turned back into his human self and gripped Jon his leg and ripped him off the crisscross fence whilst the other new wolves went wild chasing the frightened sheep around them.

"No, please...Please I'm sorry I made a mistake!!" Jon pleaded for his life but Achilles grinned seeing his heart pounding away in fear.

"There are no mistakes, you chose to be here." Achilles grabbed his throat and bit down upon his neck wildly making Jon cry as his eyes suddenly glowed out green.

Rani was stunned and speechless as Ren protected her like a shield growling at the new wolves to back off. However, one wild growl from Hector and most of them easily turned away from Rani.

Achilles looked towards Rani and started approaching her, but she gasped and shook her head. She turned on her heel running away from his sight speechless and shocked.

She ran past Damon who was laughing with joy at his new recruits.

"Hey, what's wrong princess? Look no one died?" He said, but Rani didn't want to listen to him nor hear any more of the painting cries or growls as they chased the sheep around like wild depraved animals.

Rani shoved Damon away and he sighed letting her leave the grounds. She was so mad at him because he'd stolen her friend and made her do things that were not like her. She was not like this!

Damon then walked towards his brother thankful for biting the one that almost got away. He was relieved to know that he had managed to control his blood thirst and now looked towards his mate who ran away crying like a heartbroken girl from the grounds.

"She'll forgive you."

Hector growled annoyed as he placed his hand on his shoulder.

He knew it was going to take a long time before she forgave him.

Hector smirked loving his old self back. Even if she was mad at him he'd make sure to win her heart back. No matter if she ran away from him. He always loved giving her chase.
