ADRIAN'S POV .

" Mr Thompson has told me to make sure that I report everything taking place here and help you ", l listened carefully as Ms Bethany talked. " Yes am trying hard too , we going to get the person who links our data ", l responded to her before taking a sip of my wine . I was totally pissed off but I had nothing to do.

After being sent here by my father , l really had something to investigate about but l instead paid less attention about it. The company was now seriously declining and I had to explain it to Mr Thompson . It isn't that l was afraid of him but when it came to business l really had to explain everything. He sent his assistant manager to help me but everything was really annoying me .

Everything was cool at first and l was discussing without anything but soon l lost it all when my eyes on Alexa . Seeing her in the club was the last thing I was expecting to happen. The company was declining at a good speed that l ignored her calls to concentrate on it . I didn't want to be a dick to her . I wanted to say something to her when I saw her outside but then Mr Thompson's assistant was hot on my tail .

I inwardly felt hurt . She seemed drunk , l have never seen her drunk like that . She wasn't like that even the first time we met . She was a little drunk and so l was . Something seemed not right today . " Here are the losses and....", As Ms Bethany continued to mumble , l turned my attention from her tablet then looked at the table Alexa was seated at. She was shockingly not back . Her friend was still seated taking wine but Alexa was nowhere to be seen .Just as l was still looking shockingly her friend stood up and made her way to our table with a worried look on her face.

Seeing her , l shifted my gaze then turned my attention to Ms Bethany. I had a feeling that she knew me because as friends , Alexa might have told her about the night stand . " Hello l remember you , last time you talked to Alexa , have you seen her even today", She spoke as soon as she reached our table .

" That is non of his business ", I ran my hand through my hair , gripping it tightly when I heard Ms Bethany reply on my behalf . I was pissed off but I didn't know what to do. " She might have gone to the bathroom , you know ladies , go and check there ", she continued. " Okay ", Alexa's friend replied in a low voice .

" So Mr Adrian l was saying... ", ." Let me be back ", Finding it unbearable, l stood up then walked out without waiting for her response. " Alexa ... ", Worry filled up in my mind , I walked quickly towards the street making it to where l had left her. I had a feeling that she didn't go back in the club .

Just as l followed the path , l soon enough stopped dead in my trucks when I saw the red heels , her heels. " No darn it ", Panic raced through my mind . This only showed that things weren't good on her side.

" STAY STILL YOU FUCKING BITCH ", My ears picked up the sound but then when I looked around l didn't see anything . Hurriedly I turned around the alley way and began running towards it . However my whole body soon enough froze at what I saw . Alexa was laid down on the floor with her dress up her waist and a man trying to get between her legs .

Seeing this l lost it all and quickly l flipped him around then dragged him to the walk. With anger and no love , l punched him . Punch after punch , l crashed his head against the wall. " Forgive me , l will never do it again ", He pleaded but I wasn't hearing anything . I was only seeing Alexa's weak body .

". That's what you know , you keep on raping innocent ladies", l snarled as my grip on his neck tightened up. " Am so...rry ", He could no longer talk properly. " Fine ", l lastly let him go but after kicking him harshly in the stomach and he dropped down on the floor . Noticing that he was finished , l then ran to Alexa .

Quickly I placed my jacket around her to cover her nakedness then laid her on my lap . " It's okay baby wake up , l will never let anyone hurt you again , am here ", l whispered but she was no longer listening to me. With her unconscious in my hands , I quickly pulled my phone out and called the police then informed them everything . After some minutes l lastly turned my eyes on her . She looked pale and her lips chapped. I would have said that this was all my fault but then at some point it wasn't it.

Slowly l stroked her hair as I glanced at my watch . It seems like forever before the police came . As the paramedics took Alexa from me, I turned and looked at the bastard who was still out cold on the floor . I now had to give a statement . He was seriously hurt with his face swollen .

" It looks like the man drugged her", l heard the paramedics inform the police . " Mr Adrian thanks for arriving on time ", One of the police officers murmured but then before I could reply to him , my eyes fall on Alexa's friend . She was crying and screaming loudly as she ran towards us . .

" No oh God is she okay , tell me that she is okay please don't let her die , she all l have , this is all my fault ", she sobbed out . " I think she is going to be okay ", The paramedics responded to her . " But not tonight",
