Chapter 100

"Chester, I think I remember now. I remember something" she said, running down the stairs. To her surprise, she met no one. Chester was absent, while Trent and Gemma walked out of the mansion. She turned sideways and found her kids running towards Adriana's old room down the hallway.

"Gemma!" She called out. "I should see you off"

Gemma and Trent stood at the door, waiting for her to walk up to her.

"Thank you for coming tonight and Trent, thank you for all you do"

"What now? You're spending the night here?"

She nodded hesitantly. "And most likely, the rest of my life"

"Come here" she whispered, moving Olivia to her embrace. "You have to stay alive"

"I will"

"You have to be a great mom and a wife"

"That's certain"

"You have to be happy, Olivia, you have." She pleaded, sobbing.

"Hey, don't worry about me, and begin to make preparations for your wedding. I'm aware you told Trent to keep your engagement from me and postpone your wedding because you did not want me to be worried and you wanted to break the news to me after everything. I do not want that from you, Gemma, I want you to be genuinely happy, so get married, I can't wait to walk behind you on the aisle"

She managed to nod, cleaning her tears as they gushed out of her eyes uncontrollably.

"I love you Gemma and I can't stop saying thank you for finding me. Please be happy and stop worrying about me"

"I don't care about what you think but you will forever be my baby" she commended with a smile, pinching Olivia's cheeks playfully.

"Ask another driver to take them home, I need to speak with you" she whispered into Gerald's ear.

He signaled one of the men to take Gemma home.

"You knew about me all along, didn't you?"

"I do not know what you're talking about, ma'am"

"You knew who I was, didn't you?"

She looked at him with a puzzled expression. Gerald was obviously avoiding eye contact.

"You are not talking to me, Gerald. Have you forgotten? I'm President Chester's wife"

"I had no idea about your identity"

"Didn't you? Why were you so nice to me and protected me at all costs?" She quizzed, taking a step further next to him.

"Because I didn't find you guilty"

"When did you find out about my identity?"

"When you saved Adriana from her allergies"

Olivia turned to him in shock.

"I was first moved and then I was curious about you"

"Why didn't you confront me or report to Chester?"

"It was unnecessary. I only did it to satisfy my curiosity"

"I don't believe you but I will end the conversation tonight. Help me take the kids to their room, I have to meet Chester. Have any idea where he is?"

"At the rooftop, his favorite spot"

"Chester..." She whispered, pushing the door open.

He flinched and then wore a smile.

"What are you doing here all by yourself?" She questioned, wearing a smile as she walked up to him.

"Nothing just wanted to get some air"

"We may have been apart for 6 years but you are still Chester. Talk to me, what's up?"

"Nothing, I'm good. I'm just happy that you're here with me"

"I'm in love with Gerald"

"What??"

"Oh! I thought we were talking about things we didn't mean"

"But I meant that"

"Yes, you did but in this preference, you only said that to cover up your lies and I'm not gonna buy into it tonight. Except you want me to leave, right now and I will oblige"

"Come on! You're thinking about it too much. You don't have to worry...."

"Shut up and tell me what's wrong," she said seductively, wrapping her hands around his waist.

He sighed. "It's about Aldo"

"What about him?"

"How can he still be the same after all these years? You will not believe he created a Paper company under the company's name to embezzle funds and the company has accumulated a lot already"

"Doesn't sound like news to me. Aldo has always been greedy, while you kept giving him lots of chances to do whatever he wanted"

"He had an affair...." They chorused in unison and then paused.

"You know about that?"

"I found out tonight. I recalled that he sexually harassed me some years ago"

"He did?"

She nodded.

"Gosh! I will never forgive Aldo. I've had enough already"

"You have my full support"

He kissed her forehead and wrapped his hands around her waist as well. "I missed your therapeutic voice and peaceful looks"

Her cheeks reddened. "Not gonna lie anymore, I missed you"

"It's going to be a pretty tough period, starting tomorrow. Are you ready?"

"Never been more ready"

"We shall start with announcing your identity through a Press conference"

"What?" She muttered, removing her hands from his waist.
