Chapter 387 Can You Have Some Shame?

Chapter 387 Can You Have Some Shame?

The sunlight sparkled on the rippling sea surface.

A luxury yacht was anchored on the water.

Tommy lay lazily in his chair, with two women in swimsuits on either side of him, laughing as they fed him fruit.

Just as he was about to enjoy a piece of cantaloupe from one of the pretty women, his phone rang.

Tommy frowned, somewhat impatiently picking up his phone. When he saw the caller ID showing Sloane, his annoyed expression instantly turned to joy, and he immediately pressed the answer button.

"Hello, Sloane, what's up?" Tommy's tone carried a bit of laziness but still showed some happiness.

Sloane was too busy with work and rarely called Tommy on regular days.

Sloane's voice on the other end was calm and gentle, "Tommy, when are you coming back?"

Since they were planning to have a child, they at least needed to go to the hospital for checkups.

Tommy replied, "Not sure, probably need to hang out for a few more days."

Sloane's voice remained soft as she said, "Okay, I'll wait for you at home."

Hearing this, Tommy's heart softened. It seemed Sloane missed him.

His original plan to spend several more days on the yacht instantly changed.

He sat up straight and immediately said, "I'll come back tomorrow. Sloane, did something happen at the company?"

Sloane opened a file, looking at it while explaining with a smile, "Nothing's wrong at the company, but there is something that needs to wait until you come back to discuss. It's good news."

"Mr. Robinson, want to go swimming?" one of the women suddenly called out to Tommy.

Sloane heard the woman calling Tommy on the other end of the phone.

There was no smile in Sloane's eyes, though her tone maintained a cheerful quality, "Tommy, go have fun, be safe. I'll hang up now."

After hanging up, Tommy's smile gradually faded. He turned to look at the woman who had called him and said coldly, "Are you blind? Didn't you see I was on the phone? Where are your manners?"

The woman was startled by Tommy's cold words.

Being scolded in front of so many people.

Her face instantly turned awkward, and she could only bow her head and apologize, "I'm sorry, Mr. Robinson, I didn't mean to."

Tommy waved his hand, looking impatient, "Get lost, don't bother me again."

This was just a minor incident.

Meanwhile, Sloane at the company started working after hanging up. Her assistant knocked and came in to remind her that the shareholders' meeting was about to start.

She nodded, signaling the assistant to prepare.

Throughout the shareholders' meeting, because Stefan wasn't there, the assistant who suddenly took over seemed a bit flustered when looking for materials.

Sloane clearly noticed the meeting wasn't going smoothly. It seemed she needed to find a new executive assistant soon.

At six in the afternoon, Stefan drove to the entrance of Seraphina Enterprises to pick up Seraphina from work for dinner.

"Seraphina, I have something to tell you," he said while driving, "Today, I left the Robinson Group."

Seraphina was stunned for a moment, but she quickly caught on, "Is it because of me?"

Stefan smiled, Seraphina was so smart, "Ms. Johnson found out about your family background and probably felt it wasn't appropriate for me to stay at the Robinson Group. But for me, it's not a big deal, just leaving the company a few days early."

Seraphina nodded, "So what are your plans next?"

"I'm planning to set up a branch office here in Border Ridge City," Stefan had this plan since learning about Seraphina's family background, "I don't want us to be living apart all the time after we get married."

Stefan's accommodation moved Seraphina deeply.

"Stefan, thank you, you're so good to me." Seraphina's eyes crinkled with her smile.

Because of Stefan's accommodation, Seraphina acted like a caring girlfriend during dinner that evening.

She kept serving him food.

Stefan rarely enjoyed Seraphina's feeding service.

After dinner.

Since Seraphina still had business to handle, Stefan could only send her home first.

He dropped her off at her doorstep.

Seraphina quickly kissed Stefan and turned to go home, then they saw Brandon blinking curiously at them.

Brandon stood by the door, holding a popsicle in his hand. After licking it a few times, he asked, "Seraphina, why did you kiss this gentleman?"

Stefan fell silent.

Seraphina didn't expect Brandon to open the door at this moment.

Her face flushed red, and she quickly brought Brandon inside, closing the door. Looking up, she saw Timothy.

A moment of silence.

"Daddy, Seraphina just..."

Seraphina quickly covered Brandon's mouth, really wanting to spank him!

Timothy stood in the living room, arms crossed, eyebrows slightly furrowed, his gaze moving from Seraphina to Brandon beside her, finally landing on the closed door.

Seraphina laughed dryly, trying to stay calm, "Dad, I'm back from dinner. Where's Mom?"

Brandon looked up, his eyes innocent as he looked at Seraphina, his mouth covered, mumbling unclearly, "Seraphina, I want to eat..."

The popsicle was melting.

"Then eat it quickly, don't talk, okay?" Seraphina threatened with a huff, "If you don't eat it, I will."

Timothy raised an eyebrow, looking at Seraphina and Brandon. Timothy seemed to sense something but didn't call it out, "Your mom's not coming home tonight, she has plans with Mabel and the others."

Seraphina clearly sensed Timothy's jealousy.

Seraphina secretly laughed at how Timothy loved to be jealous. She nodded, "Dad, Mabel and the others are leaving Border Ridge City tomorrow, right?"

Mabel had to escort Maximus to school, and seeing she wasn't going back, Alfonso and Maximus also pretended not to return.

"They're leaving tomorrow. You don't need to see them off, your mom and I will go."

After giving instructions, Timothy let Seraphina go rest, while he picked up Brandon to do homework.

Brandon let Timothy carry him like a bag of groceries, calmly eating his popsicle.

"Daddy, I'm still a baby, I don't want to do homework." Brandon said a sentence, then licked his popsicle.

He squinted, enjoying the taste of the popsicle.

"Who said babies don't have to do homework?" Timothy snorted coldly, carrying Brandon to his room and putting him down, "Finish that last bite of popsicle in your hand, don't lick it!"

With only one bite left, Brandon was still extending the popsicle's life by licking it, making it last longer.

Brandon shook his head, firmly protesting, "Don't want to eat it all at once."

Timothy bent down, his lips parting slightly. Not minding Brandon's saliva at all, he directly ate it for Brandon.

Brandon fell silent. His lips pouted, wanting to cry.

Timothy was such a grown man, yet he still stole his food.

Brandon sighed, hands on his hips, strongly accusing, "Daddy, can you have some shame?"

Timothy took a deep breath, "Go wash your hands first. You have half an hour to finish your homework, or I'll spank you."

Brandon hated doing homework the most.
