Chapter 388 Good Night, Brandon

Chapter 388 Good Night, Brandon

The Hensley Mansion.

Kennedy hadn't felt like going out since she got back from Border Ridge City a few days ago.

Whenever she thought about Stefan, she just wasn't in the mood.

Rosalind came to The Hensley Mansion in person to get Kennedy to go out. "Mrs. Hensley, we still need someone for our card game. Come on, let's go."

Kennedy smiled, "Okay, let me go change."

When Kennedy came downstairs, the two of them left together.

Rosalind curiously asked about Stefan, "Did you meet Stefan's girlfriend when you went to Border Ridge City this time? When is he bringing her back to Majestic City?"

Kennedy forced a smile, "Their relationship isn't stable yet. He'll bring her back once things settle down."

Hearing this, Rosalind smiled, "Stefan is so great. You don't have to worry about anything with him. Not like my son, who only knows how to eat, drink, and have fun."

"I really have a headache. Stefan is so outstanding, his taste must be good. Look at my son - last time he brought home a divorced woman. Nearly made me die of anger."

Kennedy forced another smile. Stefan was already planning to move into Seraphina's house - how could Kennedy not worry?

If she agreed to let them be together, when Stefan brought Seraphina back, everyone in their circle would probably laugh at Stefan for having bad judgment.

Just thinking about being mocked like that made Kennedy feel really annoyed.

Just as Kennedy was feeling upset, her phone rang.

She looked at the caller ID and saw it was Stefan calling. Her gloomy mood from the past few days improved a little.

At least he had some conscience - finally knew to call home.

Kennedy answered the phone coldly, "What is it?"

Stefan said gently, "Mom, I want to explain about the necklace. The necklace Dione gave you really wasn't bought by me."

Hearing this, Kennedy wanted to hang up. With Rosalind sitting right next to her, she couldn't yell at him, so she just said, "Stop making excuses."

With her family background, how could she possibly be generous enough to spend tens of millions of dollars on a necklace for someone?

Stefan explained, "Mom, Dione's real name is Seraphina. Her mother is Elizabeth, the person in charge of Seraphina Enterprises, and her father is the person in charge of the ElizaTimo Group. Her family is much richer than ours."

"What did you say?" Kennedy's tone instantly became uncertain, as if she couldn't believe her ears.

Kennedy knew about Seraphina Enterprises and the ElizaTimo Group - they were both very famous.

After hearing Stefan's explanation, Kennedy couldn't process it right away. She never imagined Seraphina had such a powerful background.

Stefan patiently repeated, "Mom, Dione's background is really powerful. Her mother is Elizabeth, the person in charge of Seraphina Enterprises, and her father is the person in charge of the ElizaTimo Group. Her family's wealth and influence far exceed ours."

Kennedy was speechless for a moment. All her prejudices against Seraphina were instantly disrupted by this shocking news.

In this circle, family background was very important.

The Hensley family didn't actually care that much about background, but because of Seraphina's appearance, Kennedy really worried that Stefan would be mocked by people in their circle for finding a woman with no background and no looks.

Kennedy frowned, "Didn't you say before that she was just middle class?"

Stefan smiled, "I was also hiding Dione's real family background back then."

After explaining, he hung up the phone.

Seeing Kennedy's expression change, Rosalind asked curiously, "What's wrong? What happened?"

Kennedy's feelings were extremely complicated. She had always thought Seraphina wasn't good enough for Stefan, but she never expected the truth to be completely opposite.

Kennedy's original worries and dissatisfaction disappeared instantly.

She turned to look at Rosalind and smiled, "It was Stefan calling."

She could wait until tonight to go home and discuss this with Damon.

Thinking about what she had said and done at Seraphina's house before, Kennedy groaned inwardly.

Elizabeth and Timothy went to the airport to see Mabel and her family off.

Mabel held onto Elizabeth's arm, suddenly not wanting to leave.

Seeing Mabel like that, Timothy knew she wanted to stay in Border Ridge City. His eyebrow twitched, and he turned to look at Alfonso, "You should go in now."

Alfonso's mouth twitched slightly. He turned to look at Maximus.

Maximus looked left, looked right, but just wouldn't call anyone. He didn't mind staying.

Elizabeth reached out and hugged Mabel, "Go on. When we have time, we'll come visit you."

Mabel nodded, "Okay, I'll wait for you to come."

After Mabel and her family left, Timothy took Elizabeth's hand and walked out of the airport.

Elizabeth looked up at Timothy with a smile, "Mr. Robinson, did you sleep alone last night?"

Timothy nodded and raised an eyebrow, "Yes."

Elizabeth covered her mouth and laughed.

Elizabeth and Timothy got in the car, and it drove off.

Timothy told the driver to stop at a pharmacy in the city.

Elizabeth immediately asked worriedly, "What medicine do you need to buy?"

Seeing her worried expression, Timothy put his arm around her waist, "Not buying medicine, don't worry. Just buying condoms."

Silence.

Elizabeth was stunned for a moment, then unceremoniously pinched his arm, "What are you thinking? No way."

Timothy suddenly chuckled softly. He sighed, "Don't worry, I asked Mr. Bynum. Mr. Bynum said we can make love, just not too intense. We can take it slow."

The car was silent for a while.

Elizabeth quickly raised the privacy screen.

"You're in this condition and still thinking about these things?" Elizabeth glared at Timothy. She was very embarrassed, "Mr. Robinson, I'm telling you, no means no! I won't cooperate with you, unless you rely on your hand."

Timothy felt wronged, "Can't you satisfy even this one wish of mine? Besides, Mr. Bynum said it's okay."

Hearing Timothy's aggrieved voice, Elizabeth couldn't help but hold her forehead. Finally, she turned to look out the window, "Go buy them then."

Timothy's aggrieved expression instantly disappeared completely.

It wasn't that he didn't value his life, but rather that he had no life left to value.

He just wanted to live normally and leave normally.

They had always bought their own condoms and wouldn't have their staff buy them.

The car stopped in front of the pharmacy.

Timothy got out of the car, walked into the pharmacy. There were no customers at the moment, so he calmly took five boxes from the checkout counter, "Checking out."

The pharmacy owner couldn't help but glance at this mature man. Her hands moved efficiently to ring up the purchase, "Do you need a bag?"

"Yes." Timothy reached over again and took another box to put on the checkout counter, making it six boxes of condoms.

The owner was silent.

After finishing the transaction, the pharmacy owner said, "Welcome back next time."

Timothy carried the six boxes of condoms back to the car.

Elizabeth looked at the bag in his hand, her eyes wide, "Why did you buy so many?"

She thought he would just buy one box.

Timothy smiled, "Better safe than sorry."

Elizabeth said, "Impressive."

Tonight was Timothy and Elizabeth's happy time.

Timothy was very patient tonight, first coaxing Brandon to sleep.

And Brandon rarely experienced Timothy's gentle voice.

Timothy stood by the bed, looking at Brandon's carefree sleeping face, with a warm smile on his lips.

He wondered what his Brandon would look like when he grew up.

Good night, Brandon.
