Roseline and Luciano’s secret
Luciano had learned everything he wanted to know about Anna from her father, and he was boiling with rage. He couldn’t believe that such a loose woman was around his sons again, who he had raised with wealth and elegance.
Realizing that he cannot be the one to tell the world this secret, he made a deal with Anna’s father, and he instantly accepted it when he heard the amount of money involved in it.
“But how will I find her? I have no idea where she lives.” Mr. Walton had no shame whatsoever to confess that he had lost all contact with her eldest daughter.
“No, you didn’t have to meet up with her.” Luciano frowned when he saw that the drunken fellow didn’t understand what he was saying. “You only have to make sure the world knows about her dirty pasts and how much she has hurt you. How she had made you lose the only woman you ever loved. That's what you have to do.”
As Mr. Walton listened to Jared Luciano Mikelson’s words, the hatred he felt for his first daughter surged through him again, and he realized that he had been lenient on her by marrying her out. He was supposed to cage her for the rest of her life, so she would never get to see the daylight just like his deceased wife.
“I will. I will make sure the whole world knows.” He swore, his voice thick with loath and contempt.
Luciano smiled coldly when he finally achieved his aim then he hung up to call Jackson to personally inform him that Anna was an adulterer, and wasn’t worthy of his love when his wife, Rose came in.
“Did you know that Jacob is back?” That was the first word Rose said immediately after she entered her husband’s study.
“And why should I care about that?” Luciano frowned his face, his voice holding a slight tenderness that he refused to show.
“Luciano, he is your son too. He had every bit of you! Why did you hate him so much?” Rose couldn’t still understand why her husband had despised the child that had grown to be so much like him, except very much worse and more intelligent than him.
“When did I say I hate him? I only hate his guts! He is a son of mine but he wouldn’t even listen to me. I refuse to have such a son!”
Rose was too stunned to speak when she heard the reason behind her beloved husband’s hostility to their son.
“They are thirty-five years old, Luciano. The only children I gave birth to for you are almost approaching forty and you want to wag their tails of your commands. What kind of father are you?”.
Slowly moving closer to her spouse for over 40 years, Rose's voice broke along with her voice. “You made Jacob into who he is. You handed the mob to him just right after their 20th birthday. You built him into that man he was now, and now you are complaining? Are you bitter because he has become a better person than you?” She said to his face and watched his expression turn into a huge scowl.
“Rose, that's enough. You are not-
“Don’t tell me it's enough! I have been behind that door and I've heard everything you discussed. Why? Why are you going to such lengths to destroy our children's happiness? Even though I didn’t support any of my sons being a mobster like you, I agreed with you 15 years ago to hand over your family mob house to my youngest son. I also agree with you when you decided to marry your old friend's daughter Jackson. That man is also a mobster, who had to live his life in fear of being gunned down anytime. It was that same life that I didn’t want for you or our kids, I had agreed with you. What else do you want from me? Why did you want to ruin their lives?
Rose threw her hands in the air frantically as she continued listing out all her pent-up grievances, without caring about the consequences of her action.
“Five good years, Luciano. Jacob had left London to search for that woman for five years. You didn’t even take into consideration that he was just coming back home after his previous three years of estrangement from his entire family. ARE YOU THAT HEARTLESS THAT YOU CAN NOT EVEN LET THEM ENJOY THEIR LIVES?” She had just finished her last words when she heard Luciano growl out loud.
“I said, fucking shut your mouth, woman!” His hand was raising in the air like he wanted to hit her but Rose was certain that he would never bring it down on her.
“Or else what? If I didn’t shut my mouth, are you going to tell the whole world my fucking past too? Are you going to tell the whole world how I had to sleep with your father while I was pregnant with your kids before he could consent to our marriage? Our sons are mirror twins who shared the same sexual attraction, feelings, and emotions, their kink isn’t even as huge as your father’s, who still wanted to bed me after knowing that I was pregnant with your child. How come you can not even forgive that when you can ignore that huge crime?”
Rose was so angry and irritated about everything from the last 8 years that she blurted out the one crime of her husband that she hadn’t been able to bring herself to forgive or forget. It was also the most disgusting secret she had only shared with her husband and his father.
Luciano’s rage slowly lessened and he felt a twinge of ache in his heart when he recalled what had happened thirty-six years ago.
The horrible dilemma had made him hate his father and had earned respect for his wife, but the current situation had nothing to do about it, and he didn’t understand why Rose was bringing it up again after so many years.
“So, you are saying you support that woman to be with our sons?” Luciano asked, and Rose shrugged, not caring about whatever pasts Anna had as long as she was the source of her son’s happiness.
“Even if what she had done had caused the life of her mother, would you still let her be together with our sons?” Luciano’s words rang in Rose’s head and she raised her head to look at her husband.
Seeing that he had gotten Rose’s attention, a smirk rose on his lips, and he looked into his wife’s curious eyes as he revealed.
