Chapter 78 He Is Obsessed
Chapter 78 He Is Obsessed
Hazel
“Until when are you going to keep me here?” I asked with my face still showing how angry I was.
It had been three days, or four days, I don't even fucking know.
I didn't expect it to be him. I was so shocked to see him here the day I was brought.
One of the bosses Matt had talked about was him, Herald Bestat.
Who would have thought that Herald could kidnap me? Who would have predicted it?
Everyone must have believed lord Ethan did it, because yeah, he's the only powerful person who could pull that off.
I imagined how shocked they would be to find out that this bastard, Herald, was the one who kidnapped me.
“I'll be moving you tomorrow, Hazel. Might start making the preparations soon,” he smiled.
Herald was seated in front of me, on the stool Matt had sat days earlier. Matt was nowhere in sight. I haven't seen him today.
He'd only come back when Herald leaves to go pretend in the pack that he's also searching for me, I guess.
“Move me to where?” I snapped.
“You'll find out when that happens, darling,” he smiled.
“You are being a bastard. You know, right?” My face changed into disgust.
Herald chuckled. “I don't care. If you won't leave with me, and you won't let me have you, then I have no choice,” he laughed.
He's a psycho, he's crazy. His father should have him treated, but I'm pretty sure they are in this together.
Since he had kept me here, he had fed me, and always had me take my bath while he stood in front of the bathroom door like the asshole that he is.
I didn't try running because I knew I wouldn't be able to get far. I don't know anywhere around here, and I'm sure I won't be able to find my way so easily, so I don't want to risk that.
“What's happening out there, Herald? How's my father, Damien too?” I asked.
Every fucking day, I would ask him this, and his reply had never changed.
“They are searching for me as their lives depended on it.”
Today, he just laughed and didn't give a response.
Someone walked in, and I lifted my gaze to take a look. I saw Matt walk to Herald and bowed slightly.
“The second boss is here,” he said.
Herald smiled and stood up. As for me, I became nervous, and my heart started beating fast.
Ever since they left me with Matt the first day, the second boss had never shown up, but now he's here, making me anxious.
Someone entered, and Herald stood in front of him, blocking my own view of the person.
“Welcome, Father,” Herald said, and I could imagine a smile on his lips at the moment.
He turned to look at me, and the second boss's face came into view.
I knew it! I knew Beta Bestat would be the second boss.
Like father, like son. But I never expected this from the beta of the pack.
He planned with his son, and both of them had me kidnapped?
Beta Bestat walked to me and smiled when he got to me.
“I hope you are doing well, Hazel?” He asked.
What the hell?
“Are you fucking kidding me?” I yelled. I tried to get off the chair I was tied to, and maybe if I could, I would first land a slap on the father's face before I dealt with the son.
Was he seriously asking me that?
“Hey, easy.” Herald walked to us and glared at me, but I don't give a fuck about his glare.
“You kidnapped me, Bestat. You kidnapped me with your son!” I yelled.
“Both of you are supposed to be locked up in a mental home!” I added.
Beta Bestat didn't reply; he just sighed and turned away from me.
“We are not crazy, Hazel,” Herald replied.
“No, you are!” I snapped at him.
He just sighed and left me alone to deal with my anger. He turned to his father, and they both talked.
“It's all over the internet, but the borders are safe. The alpha stopped checking the borders,” Beta Bestat reported to his son.
“Wait, wait,” I said with my eyes closed as I was trying to process what he had said.
“All over the internet? You mean, this fucking game of yours has been publicized?” I asked with my lips parted in disbelief.
“And,” I continued. “Right now, you are trying to run away with me or what?”
“For your second question, yes. We will live together in a place far away from here and….” I didn't let him finish his words when I cut him off.
“You are dreaming, Herald. I'm not running away with you!” I said it like I had a choice.
I scoffed, knowing I would have no choice but to follow if a gun was pointed at my head.
Herald only chuckled.
“And for your first question, your fake boyfriend had to lie to everyone that you are pregnant, so he could get them to help him find you,” Herald laughed.
“What?” I yelled.
Stupid Herald thinks it was a lie, but I knew it wasn't.
I stared at a blank space in shock for a while. Everyone now knows that I'm pregnant.
Gosh, Ariella. Or was it Dr. Berlinda? Those were the only people who knew about it.
“He didn't lie, I'm truly pregnant,” I said, and both of them stared at me in shock.
“For Damien?” Herald asked.
“No, for no one. I just fucked a random man and got pregnant,” I said with a laugh like that was my salvation.
Maybe it would make them dump me? Maybe Herald would start thinking he can't run away and live with a pregnant woman?
“What? You want to live with someone pregnant with a baby that has no father?” I laughed.
Good, now he won't want me anymore. Or so I thought, because his next words shocked me.
“It doesn't matter, Hazel. We will get rid of the child,” he said.
My eyes widened in total shock as my lip trembled while I tried to find something to say.
“Get rid of my child?” I stuttered, struggling to believe he just said that to me.
He must be truly crazy, and his father was also starting to be affected by his craziness.
I mean, how could they kidnap me and bring me to my Dad's penthouse when Dad only trusted him with the keys to the penthouse? And now they had me tied and locked up in the warehouse situated at the end of the penthouse.
It took a while before I could realize where this is, but I later recalled that we used to be here.
Mother, Father, and I.
Herald's voice snapped me out of my thoughts.
“Tomorrow, I'll move her,” he said to his father.
I could only shake my head. I didn't want that, I didn't want to leave with Herald! I don't want to live with him.
“Hazel,” the beta called. “You have no choice but to leave with him. Herald is obsessed with you, and there's nothing we can do about that,” he said.
He's obsessed, okay. Whose fault is that? And I have to get punished for that?
