Chapter 41
Micah POV
Weeks later Preparing for Alyssa parents’ marriage is taking a toll out of me, well out of Alyssa, which affect our relationship and in turn, affect me. Sometimes I wish I could kidnap her and hide her away from her mother who has turned into brideizza.
I don't get the deal, you have being married to this man for eighteen years only to divorce him saying that you no longer feel sparks or whatever silly excuse she gave eleven months ago only to come back three months later and plead with him that she made a mistake and that she still wants to be in his life then get remarried in less than a year of being apart. Too crazy, she didn't apologize to Alyssa and although she was welcomed by her husband... Ex-husband and soon to be husband again and also my parents, Alyssa and I never did welcome her back. Alyssa was hurt by her leaving and Al never forgive someone who hurt her easily. Jake case was different since everything about her relationship with him was a mirage.
The only reason I didn't allow Alyssa to say anything on the issue was because of her dad and it is enough reason for her so she chose to be quiet.
Now that woman is keeping Alyssa away from me with bridal issues. I have not seen Alyssa for three days now and we will soon start school although it is still two months away, we planned to use a month to travel to New York and this month was supposed to be our private time, now because of Alyssa mother wedding I cannot even see my girlfriend. I need calm down, all these thoughts will just make me more annoyed and I don't want to do anything to that woman but I will if she continues to keep Alyssa away.
My phone rang and I picked it up without checking who is calling, right now I am in a bad mood because no matter how much I try to improve my mood, it won't improve until I see Alyssa. “What.” I snapped at whoever called.
“Wow, if I had known I would get this kind of warm greeting I would have called earlier.” Alyssa voice said with a sarcastic tone.
“Alyssa.” I said with a breathy tone. I sound like a 14 year old girl who is talking to her crush. Wait a minute, Celine doesn't even talk to her crush with that tone. I sound like a little girl in love for the first time. I am in love for the first and last time.
“Micah.” Alyssa replied by saying my name.
“I miss you.”
“Yes, I could certainly hear that on your tone.”
“I didn't know it was you. I was stressed because I hadn't seen you on a while now and you know how I get when I am away from you. "
“I do. I wish I wasn't my mother chief bridesmaid. “Alyssa said “that woman is making me go loco.”
I laugh as I lost myself in the conversation with Alyssa, we didn't say anything of importance except how much we love each other and miss each other. When we hanged up I felt better than I had in a while.

Alyssa POV
I hate my life right now. Who wouldn't hate their life after finding ten different kind of blue only for the future bride to say that she want a different shade of blue? I want to kill her and the only reason why I am having that particular thought right now without enforcing it is because I am a saint. I would have quit this gig a while ago if I didn't have familiar ties but now I am done.
I stood up and close the laptop with a slam as I pack my things into my backpack without arranging it and put my laptop in too as I walked out of the cafe which is opposite the wedding salon my mother is in. She went all out crazy when I told her that there is no other shade of blue that will look amazing, I am so sick of this, I am walking right up to her and handing in my informal resignation. I am tired of this, after giving her a piece of my mind I will go and pay Micah a surprise visit that we both will love. Right now I miss him so much that it seems like it is unbearable at times.
My bag zipper refuse to close and as I try to close it I step out into the road without looking. What can I say? I am angry. That was the last emotion that pass my mind before I met a hard impact and I felt my body flying through the air before I met a hard surface that took the breath out of me. I tried my very best to take another breathe but I couldn't. Liquid that had a coppery taste filled my mouth when I opened it. I could hear dim noise like people panicking and all I couldn't make out what they were say. Then the realization of what is happening hit me with the force of a sledgehammer. I am dying. There is no way I would survive this.
With that thought a peace came over me as I wanted my last thoughts on this earth to be happy ones. With tears rolling down my cheeks I closed my eyes and memories flew pass me. The day I met Micah, the first family gathering of both of our families, the funny moments we have experienced together, the last four months of living a fairytale life with Micah in a relationship. I am happy for having experience that. Most people live till they are hundred and don't experience true love. I only lived for eighteen years and for more than half of those years I have had my soulmate right beside me. More tears starts pouring out as my sight became foggy from the lack of supply of oxygen to the brain. I could hear the sirens getting closer but I knew that no matter what now, I have already gone too far to be better. My heartbeat thundered in my ears as I imagined all the things I would be missing out of. I would never know where my relationship with Micah goes, neither will I see my younger siblings that my father promised me that they would start trying for when they get back from their honeymoon.
I smiled at Micah smiling face in my thoughts as everywhere went white in my eyes so I closed it. My heartbeat stops and so did my thoughts....
