Episode 28
"Don't worry, I will get back to you," I said to him before turning away. I knew that I wouldn't even inform the Alpha that I had met with him because my plan to expel him and Lucia from the pack was almost ready to be executed.
"Please wait, bro!" Logan's voice called out, causing me to turn around and see him approaching.
"Do you want to tell me something?" I asked him when he caught up to me.
"Not really, I just want to join you and head back to Lucia before we part ways," Logan replied as I nodded in understanding.
"Alright, let's go," I said, and we walked together until we reached the point where we needed to go our separate ways.
He stayed with Lucia while I went straight to Alpha Jesse's room.

I was in my room when I heard two knocks on my door. "Who's there? Come in," I called out, and Silva stepped inside.
"Oh, Silva, you're back already?" I said, sitting up properly on the bed as he nodded.
"So, tell me, what information have you obtained from him?" I asked, and he shook his head.
"He didn't actually give me any information. He just kept repeating the same words over and over again. It's becoming clear that he doesn't have any other information to share with us," Silva said, and I let out a heavy sigh.
As the case stands now, it doesn't seem like finding Lucia's mum will be an easy task. However, no matter what happens, we must keep trying. So I looked at Silva with a glimmer of hope and kept up with him.
"Okay, but please keep investigating and try to find any useful information, alright?" I instructed, and he nodded in agreement.
"You may go now," I said, but as he turned to leave, I remembered something I wanted to ask.
"Wait a minute," I called out, and he turned back, stepping backward. "Yes, sir?" he asked.
"I wanted to know how Logan is doing. Is he feeling any better?" I inquired.
"Actually, he's not just improving, he's already doing much better. I saw him hanging out with Lucia around the compound," Silva explained as I looked at him in disbelief.
I don't understand how a stranger, who arrived recently, could be spending time with my daughter. Did Lucia already know him from somewhere else?
"I'm sorry, could you clarify? Hanging out with Lucia? Did they know each other before?" I asked, to which Silva shook his head.
"Well...according to Logan, they hadn't met before. They met inside this pack," Logan responded. I took a moment to process this information.
Turning back to Silva, I said, "Alright, you can leave now," and he exited the room, closing the door gently behind him.
As I pondered the situation, I couldn't help but wonder how close Lucia had become with this stranger. Perhaps she wasn't aware of the boundaries that existed, especially when it came to male wolves, except for Alpha Jackie.
However, I decided not to dwell on it too much for now. I resolved to speak with Lucia later and have a conversation with her about her movements leading up to the next three days, when she was supposed to be mated with Alpha Jackie.
As for Logan, I knew I still needed to have a conversation with him, but that could wait until later. For now, I needed to get dressed and head to work.

At present, I do not trust Silva due to the current circumstances. I believe he may be planning to betray me as retaliation for my past actions towards him. It is apparent to me that he is only pretending to be productive until Lucia is officially mated to Alpha Jackie.
These days, I feel restless and uncertain about who I can rely on. It seems like everything is slipping away from me, but I refuse to let that happen. I need to take action and stand up for myself.
I am no longer willing to wait for Silva to act. Instead, I will devise my own plan and proceed on my own. I am confident in my abilities and believe that I can succeed. Therefore, I will create a plan of action and move forward with determination.
Initially, I believed that my best course of action was to feign peace with her and try to gain insight into her weaknesses. With this knowledge, I could then devise a plan to deal with her in such a way that she would voluntarily leave.
I considered this strategy and concluded that it was the perfect plan for this. I decided to set out and search for Lucia to put my plan into motion.
With my thoughts in order, I rose from my bed and made my way out to find her.

As I emerged from my room and took a few steps, I noticed UK approaching.
"Where have you been all this time?" I inquired, as she had left when I asked her to excuse my conversation with Silva, and had not returned until now.
"I'm sorry... I had some work to do in the kitchen," she replied, avoiding eye contact and appearing visibly frightened.
However, given my new objective, I knew that I needed to maintain a good relationship with everyone. Therefore, I chose to comfort UK by placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder.
"Don't be so frightened. Everything is alright. You did a great job preparing the food for lunch," I said to her, observing as she stared at me with surprise.
I realize that she must be quite shocked. In reality, I was supposed to have slapped her hard, but for the time being, I had to pretend. Sometimes, we need to be good to achieve our goals.
"So, can you tell me where I can find my sister, Lucia?" I asked, while she stared at me with wide eyes.
This is actually the first time I have referred to Lucia as my sister.
"Um, yes, I know where she is. She's over there, near the lake," UK replied, and I nodded with a smile.
"Thank you so much for the information. You've done well," I said, and she bowed her head, still looking a bit confused.
"So, tell me, would you like to come with me? Or do you have other tasks to complete, or perhaps you'd like to rest?" I asked, and she looked at me with her mouth open in surprise.
She was too surprised to respond. "Okay, I understand what you're saying. You're exhausted, right?" I suggested.
"Come on, why don't you take a break?" I encouraged her, while she continued to stare at me in shock. I walked away, heading towards Lucia. My goal was to find a way to manipulate the situation and convince her to forgive me and accept me as her sister once again.

★LIAM★
After finishing my coffee in my room, I headed back to the kitchen to put away my cup and plate.
As I walked through the living room, I noticed Zyphyrine holding a plate covered with a lid.
Despite knowing that she often tries to tempt me, I tried to ignore her and quietly make my way to the kitchen. However, she interrupted me.
"Sorry, Liam. I've made another delicious meal for you. Trust me, you're going to love this one," she said, but I glared at her and replied, "Eat your trash!" before heading to the kitchen.
When I returned after putting away my cup, she was already taking the meal away. We collided at the door, and the meal nearly fell, but she managed to catch it, although the lid fell off.
Man, you wouldn't believe the delicious meal she was carrying back to the kitchen! It was chicken and chips!
"Where are you taking that thing?" I asked Zyphyrine.
"I'm sorry, but I thought you said you didn't like it. I'm taking it back to the kitchen," she replied, as I began to yell at her.
"Just because I don't like it doesn't mean you have to take it back to the kitchen!" I retorted.
"You're senseless! Just leave it here so I can take it!" I yelled at her, grabbing the meal from her hand. She stared at me in confusion.
"I'm just taking it, but that doesn't mean I'm going to eat it!" I continued. "I can't eat this trash from you, but I have to take it to my room and examine it closely before I throw it away out of my window. So, get out!"
I ran straight upstairs to my room with the meal, eager to enjoy its delicious flavors!
