Chapter 52 Wasted

Chapter 52 Wasted

A few hours before night time...

Romeo stood by the edge of the ship, relaxing on the railing while the wind ruffled through his hair. A glass of whiskey was in his hand.

He had refused to drink from the one Andrew had bought because it was cheap and would probably not be of good quality.

He wasn't being judgemental, it was just the way he was trained and brought up.

He stared into the deep blue sea, wishing his mind would be at rest like the water. But in his head, there was a heavy storm. If he were to give it a name, he would call it the unresting sea.

He was worried since Cara hadn't left her room since they got on the boat but he didn't want to go and see her. His feelings had been getting the best of him lately and he wasn't sure what he would do if he were to be alone with her.

Why was it always so hard with women?

With a sigh, he raised his glass to his mouth and took a sip from it.

"Seriously, is this a party or a funeral?" Andrew asked as he walked up to Romeo and relaxed on the railing next to him. "This party sucks. The person who threw the party is here drowning himself in alcohol-- like seriously, is that your fourth glass?--

"Camilla and Rick have locked themselves up in their room probably having sx and Jastrow is busy video calling this ugly ass Asian girl-- and you dare not call me racist because I'm Asian too. That girl is just straight up ugly."

Romeo let out a soft chuckle. "Well you can hang out with me if you are bored. I plan on drinking till I drop and then when I wake up by tomorrow afternoon, I'll be fine."

"Dude, seriously, what the fck is wrong with you? I'm your best friend, you can tell me anything." Andrew's brow creased as he asked.

"Camilla is my best friend." Romeo responded.

Andrew jacked his shoulder and let out a chuckle as Romeo smiled. He sighed. "Once she gets married to Rick, she won't have your time. You know she plans on having a baby as soon as she gets married. Oh and Rick thinks of moving to Germany but Camilla hasn't agreed to it yet.

"Look, the whole point of this is that this might be the last time we will have the chance to get together like this. And I know, business brought us together but I feel like you guys have known me all my life and I you. I came here to have a fcking good time and that's what I want to get from all of you."

"Maybe tomorrow." Romeo responded dully. "Today, I think I just need alcohol."

"Were you mad at me earlier at that very mini mart?" Andrew suddenly asked.

Romeo chuckled softly. "Very mini mart?"

"Dude, that place was actually smaller than my storage room but that's not the point here." Andrew waited for a response but the silence and change in expressions in Romeo was enough of an answer.

He continued. "Dude why the hell are you punishing yourself like this? You haven't liked another woman since Vicky-- I'm very sorry to mention her name-- and remember how things were for you when you two didn't end up together.

"I'm asking you to remember because I only heard about it from Camilla who has been by your side since you popped out of your mother's--"

"Don't say it." Romeo cut him off.

"Fine. Since your mother gave birth to you." He rolled his eyes. He was going to say since he popped out of his mother's vgina. "Look, point is, that woman is sexy as fck and if you tell her how you feel, I will make a move on her."

"Listen--"

"No, you listen." Andrew cut him off sharply. He stared directly at Romeo's face, a serious expression on his face. "I know, you are Romeo Armani, the only male descendant of your parents and grandparents.

"You're a miracle, yes, a hot miracle. You have to help your family's business grow while keeping the good name... But you are also just a sexy man with needs... Desires, with a heart aching for someone and I can see it clearly in your eyes that you want to fck that chick and not as a one time thing but as a forever thing."

"Okay, okay," Romeo stood up straight. "Listen I know you are trying to give me some words of advice but jeez, can you make a sentence without saying fck or any inappropriate language?"

"You know I can't but my point still stands clear amidst the fog. I will not forgive you if you do not fck that cutie and then put a ring on her finger or at least try a freaking relationship."

Romeo smirked. "The king of play boys is advising me to try dating someone? What happened to you, Drew?"

Andrew sighed. "Dude..."

Romeo tapped his shoulder in a friendly gesture and smiled. "I'll figure out my own feelings, you do your best to get Jastrow off the phone so he can hang out with you."

Andrew sighed as he watched Romeo walk away. "A man shouldn't be your level hot and not know how to use it!" He exclaimed loudly enough for Romeo to hear.

"What are you? A freaking gay couple?" Jastrow asked as he joined them.

Romeo chuckled and left them.

The rest of the day went by in what was more than a flash. He had sat at the bar drinking without stopping and he hoped once he was on his feet, he would drag himself to his room and sleep for as long as his body allowed.

Thankfully, the bar never closed.

At exactly one minute after twelve, Romeo rose to his feet to go to his room but the worry he felt urged him to go to Cara's doorstep instead.

"I think we need to talk." He managed to get the words out in one piece.
