Chapter 50 Another Woman

Chapter 50 Another Woman

Everything about him was perfect. From his looks to his dressing and his smile and his hair. The way the words he spoke rolled off his tongue perfectly made it impossible to guess that he was Asian. Only his Indian last name and skin color gave him away.

He stared back at her like someone who was interested in her. But how would she say it-- if need ever be-- that she was only drawn by his good looks but was truly interested in another man?

She smiled softly and cleared her head of the thought. "I'll get going now but I'll see you there?"

"Yeah." He smiled. As she was about to walk away, he called out to her. "Hey, uh, do you think I could get your number?"

She smiled.

Romeo sat in the driver's seat with a deep frown on his face. He had seen her walk in and expected her to have walked out a while ago when she noticed he wasn't there.

Suddenly he asked himself. "What is wrong with you, Romeo? Why are you being so dramatic? Isn't this for the best?" His brow arched as he asked.

He let out a sigh. He hated the fact that it was impossible to have the woman he wanted. She was close to him, he saw her whenever he wanted, but she could never be his. Not even if she wanted to be.

As the only son of his family, things were a bit hard on him. His father's brothers had given birth to daughters and his mother was an only child.

Being the only boy in the entire Armani family tree, it came with a lot of responsibilities that even he didn't dream of having.

He let out another sigh. If he could give up everything to be with her, would he do it? It was worth it, she was more. But he had to face the fact that being the Armani heir was what he was born to do.

There was a big difference between what he wanted to do and what he had to do. He knew that clearly and knew where to draw the lines.

It was just harder with Cara. He wanted her around all the time but that would all come to an end because he planned to leave her when he believed she was strong enough to stand on her own two feet.

His heart was already shattered in preparation for the day that he would have to leave.

The door of the mini mart pulled open and Cara walked out with Andrew by her side. She helped him carry some drinks to his car and bowed her head slightly before approaching his own car.

She pulled the door open and he welcomed her with a forced smile. A smile that hid his tears.

"Hey." She said awkwardly. After hearing that he stormed out, she couldn't help but to feel odd being with him. She had totally forgotten about her whole period situation.

"Hey." He responded with a smile that didn't even try to reach his eyes. "Pretty heated conversation with Chris huh."

"Yeah," she rolled her eyes. "Like you won't even believe the things he said to me."

"Well who would be surprised?" He turned his attention to the car and put it in ignition. Without saying another word, he started down the road.

"Yeah..." She muttered.

His attitude was like someone who wasn't looking forward to hearing anything she had to say and she would be lying if she said it didn't hurt her feelings.

She was really looking forward to pouring out her mind and emotion to the one person who was always there to listen to her but now he crushed her soul with his dull response.

She noticed the bags of things he had bought that sat at the back along with the medicines he mentioned and her heart fluttered. His niceness always made her happy.

They drove down the road in silence with Andrew following behind them in his car. A call came through for Romeo-- she noticed the name on the screen was Rick-- and he answered it.

"Hey, Rick." Romeo plainly said.

"Hey Rick?" Rick seemed a little pissed. "Hey Rick? That's all I get? You and Andrew are the only ones not here and all I get is a 'hey Rick'? I don't want that! I want to see both of you here!"

"Relax, we are already there, okay? We are just pulling up in the parking lot. I'm not gonna have my car towed just because I am excited for our trip."

"Just hurry your aes here okay!" Rick grunted.

Romeo chuckled softly and hung up.

They both parked and got down from their cars-- he and Andrew.

"Finally! Why did you come so early? Why not just come tomorrow?" Rick teased them as he walked up to them.

He was a tall blonde guy with blue eyes and a handsome face.

"If it isn't the Kings." Another she didn't know said as he followed behind Rick. A beautiful girl was walking next to him.

"Who is she?" Rick nudged his head at Cara.

Romeo smiled. "Guys this is Cara, a friend and business partner. Cara, this is Rick, Jastrow and Camilla."

Cara smiled at them. Jastrow was a handsome young man with grey eyes and deep brown hair and Camilla had hair as dark as night that reached down to her waist and her eyes were a color to match.

They were all very handsome and wealthy looking. Of course, she had expected that. But Romeo's look still dominated all of theirs. Even Andrew's.

"You brought a girl along with you? I am almost jealous." Camilla smiled as she walked up to Romeo and pulled him into a hug.

Cara was shocked but said nothing. She watched as Romeo's hand wrapped around Camilla's small waist and her first clenched.

Why would he bring her here if he was just going to make her watch him cuddle another woman!
