Chapter 166 Forced
Chapter 166 Forced
AALIFA NIYAZ
Dragging me inside our apartment forcefully with a stinging cheek, he was extremely enraged. Pushing me inside, he pointed his finger at me.
“I knew I shouldn't have trusted you!”
“I didn’t call him, Ahmer, please, believe me, my student brought him, thinking we are friends or something,” I whispered sorrowfully, coming close to make him listen but to no avail.
He was getting the wrong idea.
“Then why was he with you!?”
“They took him to me, please,”
A tear came near my eyelids. He continued to glare at me for the next few seconds before losing that rage and loosening his shoulders.
“Why are you doing this to me, Aalifa?”
Murmuring, he fell on the couch, hanging his head low from dejection as I slowly approached him and sat beside him.
“What have I ever asked in these months, Ahmer? Just one thing.”
“I don’t think I could trust you,” He enunciated.
Inducing a pain that after I had accepted my fate with him, I didn’t have the conviction of the man I was supposed to spend my life with.
Then what would be the point of anything?
With a tear of disappointment, considering it as my punishment for my actions, I looked down, “I see… as you wish,”
In the end, he was my husband and I wasn’t provided with many options so looking down, I whimpered, wiping my tears.
“I am sorry, I won’t go near him again,”
When he saw me on the verge of crying, his eyes widened, panicking and ended up holding my shoulder to pull me to him.
“I am sorry, I didn’t mean to- I am just scared that you will go to him,” He spoke softly, calming down immediately when I sniffled to not cry, still a few tears rolled down.
“I can understand.” I whispered weakly.
“I am sorry for hitting you too,”
“It’s alright…”
“I don’t want to lose you,”
Closing my eyes, having no strength to fight or argue, I continued in my dead tone while forcing out a smile.
“I am not going anywhere, I am here,”
After reassuring him that I won’t go anywhere, he was back to his normal self. Due to our age difference, he was insecure about me leaving him since marriage.
And nothing I had said or did until now worked. One thing and he could do anything to remind me that I was his…
Even if it meant hitting.
At night, I was on the bed, he was deep in slumber as I was staring at the ceiling, not remembering when was the last time I had slept peacefully.
Touching my cheek, a tear rolled down my cheek as I remembered how we got married.
“For how long are you going to sit here? It’s been three years already,”
Mother sighed when I was staring into nothingness while hugging my knees close to my chest, curling my lips in a tender smile.
“Two years and nine months,” I corrected her softly.
My tone was gentle but it was not dead.
I was fine living off the mix of beautiful and agonizing moments we had created. It gave me the strength to carry on with a smile.
“Ahmer Shehzad has sent a proposal. I agree he is a little older than you but he is a good man, he will take good care of you,”
Papa declared out of nowhere, entering with my grandmother as they both were glaring at me, pissed off at the fact that I was at home.
“You have done nothing good in your life, let us decide what is better for you. Accept Ahmer and marry him,” Granny added, wiping my smile at her remark.
She knew it hurt me more than anything yet spoke what pierced my chest painfully.
“I won’t marry anyone. As my parents, if you can’t provide me with a shelter too then tell me but don’t tell me to marry someone else,” I declared, forcing a smile but it infuriated Papa.
“Do you think he will come for you?”
“I have given him nothing but a miserable life, I don’t want him to come back to me either,” I chuckled sadly.
I didn’t think myself worthy to be a partner to wait for one in the first place.
“Then why don’t you marry and move on?!” To his yelling, I lost my composure and slammed my hand down. They were asking for the impossible from me.
“I won’t because he can’t either!”
Losing my breath, I rose from my seat, coming closer to hold Papa’s shirt delicately to make him listen.
“Please, Papa, let me hold at least a little pride. I don’t want him to think of me as a deceiver ‘if’ we ever meet,”
My lips quivering along with a tear, praying he would understand.
“I am not a desperate woman who gains the chance the second she is available. I love Zaviyaar, let me respect that fact.”
But, uncaring, he yanked my hands away and moved back while I was shaking in horror, surrounded with despondency.
What would he think?
And if I didn’t feel anything for my husband that would make me fucking disloyal too.
How could I fall low in my own eyes?
“Even if we are not together but at one point, at least, we were and that is enough for me to spend my life.” I whispered desperately but they refused to listen.
As if my emotional state didn’t matter but.. They were right in their sense.
“And let you ruin your whole life over a man? No. As your father, I can’t do this. You have made enough wrong decisions for yourself,”
Please stop mentioning wrong decisions…
“From being a damn dancer to marrying Zaviyaar, nothing you have done was right so stop it! Eradicate dancing and Zaviyaar, both, from your life!”
At his yelling, I flinched, lowering my eyes from apprehension when he had lost his mind and took that on me. Gripping my shirt, I remained motionless.
“All your life you have achieved nothing so let us do what is right for you… is that understood?” He growled.
Sniffling, I held back my tears and dared to whimper feebly.
“... W-What if I say no?”
“Then stop considering me your father too,”
