Zara's POV

Diamond moved his hand from the female that he was holding, as he looked at her in confusion and then moved his gaze to my sister, who was standing beside Tracy, Keith's mother, I could see everyone was holding their breath not wanting to laugh, enjoying the frustration that beta Diamond is going through, of course, he wasn't wrong, the female standing beside me is not Clair but Mia and she is the one that beta Diamond is referring to as mate, "sorry Alpha but she..."

"She is your what?" Harris interrupted him having that scowl and husky voice, was enough to create doubt in the heart of beta Diamond. The look on his face showed that he was sure that the female he was looking at was his mate, not his Alpha's mate, but how was he going to prove it to everyone, he twitched his lips not knowing what to say before his eyes move to Clair, then back to Mia.

"My wolf... Said she is..." He paused, running his hand on his nape, his eyes were still focused on Mia.

"Come here, mate," Harris stretched his hand to Mia. The naughty Mia was playing this game with the alpha, she takes a step to go to Harris when Diamond pulled her suddenly to himself, and then hoist her from the floor, pulling her on his shoulder, "What the fuck are you doing with my..."

"I know Alpha Harris, you are playing tricks on me, her neck, she doesn't have your mark, which means she is Mia, not Clair..." Everyone burst into laughter, Mia had her hair tied in a ponytail so it was easier for Diamond to see her bare neck and her neck was without a mark, but Clair on the other hand, as Harris' mark on her neck.

"He got you," Clair said hitting his mate, Harris ran his hand on his nape.

"I thought I could tease and prank him a little just as you and Zara do to me but the mark betrayed me," Harris said.

"And that is the more reason, I am having my mate's face change, ASAP," Harris's voice came up before he ran out with his mate on his shoulder and another round of laughter went on just then the door, pulled open.

"Am I missing anything? And where Is the birthday girl?" Kimball's voice came up, and Kiera ran to him.

"Uncle, I thought you forgot my birthday,"

"You know I can't, it's my first time celebrating my future alpha's birthday, so I am not missing it for anything," Kimball said pulling Kiera into a hug and scooping her from the floor.

"So I am going to be an alpha, like father?" Kiera asked and then Kimball nodded, Kiera frowned suddenly.

"Did I say something wrong?" Kimball asked tucking her hair behind her ear.

"I don't want to become an Alpha, I want to become a Luna-like mother, alphas are grumpy and ruthless, I don't want to be ruthless," she said almost breaking down, Kimball pulled her cheeks.

"Stop sulking dear, if you want to be a Luna then it's Luna that you will be, all you just need to do is find an Alpha..."

"Mate.." Lila growled we all snapped our gaze to her, at first we thought that it was the words of Kimball that she had completed, but with the way, Kimball's gaze was focused on her, it was like the goddess was fulfilling everyone's wish today, getting that someone that we compliment each one of us, our second half.

"Uncle, so if I get an Alpha mate, will I become a Luna?" Kiera asked but Kimball didn't say a word, his gaze was not leaving Lila, and he didn't move nor say a word to Kiera, "Uncle..."

"Come here Kiera, I think this is Uncle's best day of his life," Keith said pulling Kiera from Kimball, the first thing Kimball was about to do was run off, "Kimball, what the fuck?" Harris was fast to grab his hand, Lila's tears were already streaming down her eyes.

"Why are you crying?" He asked.

"If you want to reject me, you could reject me, I know, I am not the kind of mate that you wanted. I am a no good..." Kimball moved closer to her and pressed his hand on her lips.

"Shh... Don't say that, I am the terrible one here and I don't deserve to be your mate," Lila shakes her head.

"It's me that doesn't deserve to be your mate, because I am horrible, because I kept pushing myself on your brother because I did a lot of bad things against Zara, I didn't deserve anything good..."

"If you think that you don't deserve anything good then you are not alone, it's the two of us, the combination of two messed up souls but If you want you could let the terrible me claim the horrible you, that is if you don't mind," Lila didn't wait for him to say something else, she smashed her lips against Kimball. Kimball kisses her, sucking hungrily on Lila's lips.

"Wow, get a room, this is my daughter's birthday not your mating ground," Keith's voice made Lila pull from Kimball, and they both laughed before he moved his gaze back to us, "I am sorry, but I think..."

"You two are excused because Kiera is desperate to have kids on her next birthday," I tease them, Kimball moves his gaze to Keith, and he smirks before he pulls Kimball into a hug.

"Go on bro, enjoy the mate bond but you shouldn't break her, if not, Lucian will have your head on a plate."

"I am not doing any of that, she is my light in my darkest hour," He said and I smiled, looking at Lila, whom he just pulled her hand and was walking out with, she moved her hand from Kimball ran to me, and hugged me.

"Thank you..." She murmured, my hand moved to her and hugged her as well before my tears dropped, I didn't know this day would come when I would be hugging Lila, the female that always wanted to scratch my face because she was interested in Keith and now, she is no longer my rival but my sister.

"You should go now, you don't want to keep the exciting male hanging," I said, she freed herself from me and ran off with Kimball.

"Whew...that was one hell of a drama," Keith said pulling Kiera's hand.

"Daddy, why don't I have a mate? Everyone has a mate?" Kiera's voice came up, Keith look at me.

"It's not everyone that has a mate, even I don't have a mate," Sara's voice came from behind.

"That means is just the two of us, me and you, Aunty Sara," Kiera's voice was low, she was acting like some adult who just found out everyone her age had been blessed with a mate by the moon goddess and didn't give her one.

"Yes baby, so it's time to make a wish," Sara said pulling Kiera's hand, and Keith looked at me, I shrugged my shoulder, not knowing what to say but it was fine, at least Sara was able to manage the situation.

"Come here grandmother," Kiera stretches her hand to Tracy, she moves her eyes to Keith, waiting for Keith's approval.

"Go on mother, go to your granddaughter," this was the first time, Keith referred to Ma Tracy as mother, I could see the joy on her face, and she smiled as tears of joy streamed down her cheek, "Mother, why are you crying?" He repeated the word before he moved his hand and wiped the tears off Ma Tracy.

"Call me Mother again," she said. Her voice came out in a whisper and Keith smirked.

"C'mon Dad, you should be fast, you don't want grandma crying on my special day," Kiera scolded Keith. He ruffles his hair.

"You should stop crying before your granddaughter calls me ruthless again," I pushed Keith's head.

"You haven't called her Mother," Keith rolled his eyes at me before he pulled her mother's hand and hugged her.

"Mother..." He calls with a smile reaching his eyes.

After that little show, Kiera finally closed her eyes tightly for a moment, "I wish that I found my mate and also for Aunty Sara, to find her mate and I want Uncle Lucian to be Aunty Sara's mate," I moved my gaze to Sara, her face light up, I know that look on her face a while ago, she was wishing for the same thing that Kiera was wishing for. Sara hugged me, Kiera joined the hug before Clair joined the hug, and the three of us hugged each other.

Kiera's little face scrunched up in concentration and then blew out the candles in one confident breath. Cheers and applause erupted from us, and she beamed with pride.

The door burst open, and everyone in the room froze, seeing Lucian covered with blood, "what happened to you?" Keith's voice came staring at his beta, Sara was the first to run to him.

"You are bleeding," she said with concern.

"It's not mine, it's the blood of the little boy, I saw at the field, I think he was attacked," he said cupping Sara's face, before pecking her lips.

"Thank goddess..." All the adults gushed in relief that Lucian wasn't hurt but then Kiera's worry was not on Lucian but on the supposed little boy

"Is he safe?"
