Chapter 224

Zara's POV

The weeks just went by swiftly, but there was no dull moment between those days, it was filled with different activities, but I am happy that we are slowly building a stronger bond between us, this past weeks, I have been having a series of visitors, both those that have hurt me and those who are family and friends.

Those who had offended me were apologizing for what they did to me. From Kimball, who happened to be Keith's half-brother, to Lily, even though I had forgiven her a long time ago, she still kept apologizing and she returned to her parents, after she United with Lucian, her brother. Lucian didn't stop thanking me for saving his sister, even when I told him not to, that everything happens for a reason and maybe, it's all part of the goddess's plans but he insisted, so I let him if that is the only way he could feel better.

Serena of all people came in a few weeks ago and apologized to me, she told me everything she did she was heavily pregnant and she told me, that the pup she was carrying was for the lycan that almost killed me, years ago.

I told her, that I had forgiven her but she should give me time, to warm up to her, I felt sorry for her because her father had disowned her after hearing that she sent her bodyguard who happened to be her fated mate after me and that she had rolled off an alpha command on him, that was the reason he took his life, he didn't even get to meet his pup, but it's all good, she was trying to live a better life and I am glad she wanted to.

While Kimball and Keith are trying to amend their relationship, although Keith is still finding it difficult to trust Kimball, I am glad he is not closing his heart against him. Keith is willing to give his brother a chance to know each other better. Luna Rhonda, after apologizing to Keith and me, decided to leave the pack and live among humans, although Keith didn't strip her of membership to the pack, she left on her own after denouncing the Luna position.

I could say things were going fine for us, and the people were warming up to us, they liked the new changes going on at the Pack. These past few days, Keith and Lucian have been visiting other Kings, to form an alliance and to make them accept him as their alpha king. Bringing all creatures together wasn't an easy one but he had to try. He needs to gain their trust, and the other creatures are finally warming up to him, except the witches, since it's their queen that died during the attack but today Keith is meeting up with them with his beta and he is bringing Kimball along with them.

He told me, he didn't even know how to convince them so they could live peacefully, but then I smiled and told him, he didn't need to rehearse anything he should show them the sincerity in his heart.

He smirked, before pressing kisses on my forehead, and murmured, "You are the best thing that ever happened to me and you are the only thing that makes me keep coming back home, you and Kiera are my world, even if they throw me out, I know I have you and her to come back to but if you throw me out I have no one to go back to, so please don't throw me out, my Luna..." I smiled remembering his words in my head, as I put the last glass on the table with the final touch to the decorations, I didn't know if they were going to finally accept him as their king today but my instinct kept telling me, there is going to be a double celebration, so I am inviting the girls to celebrate it with us and our little girl Kiera is seven today.

So I decided to celebrate it with Keith's success, Keith promised to come home on time, but if he didn't, the girls and I would be celebrating it, because all males are out, so the room is filled with just females, it's like we are having girls night out.

I hurry into my room to change after checking if everything is set Clair and Mia were a great help, I didn't know those two would warm up to each other, Mia thought of having surgery to change her face, but Clair told her that she is not complaining that she could make do of an artificial twin sister.

So for now Mia and Clair are still moving around with the same face but I know it won't take long before the proud Alpha will ask that Mia go through the knife to take off his mate's face.

"Sister, come over here, the party is about to start," I heard Clair's voice.

"Is Sara and Kiera back?" I asked pushing the door.

"Yes, they are about to enter the building, so hurry up, let's start without the males, I am sure they will understand," I nodded to Clair, as my hand fell on her and she intertwined her fingers with mine as the two of us walked into the living room, other guests are there, including, Lily, Serena and Ma Tracy, Keith's mother, they are both warming up to each other, although Keith was mad at her for some time for keeping secrets from him it's all good, everyone is at the process of changing.

The five of us hold up the banner with the caption, "Happy 7th Birthday, Kiera!" As the door flew open, the five of us shouted.

"Surprised..." Kiera let go of Sara's hand and she runs to us.

"Mom, this is amazing!" Kiera exclaimed, her voice high with delight. As she hugged me tightly.

"Happy birthday baby,"

"Thank you so much!" She said hugging me again

"You're welcome, sweetheart," I said, kissing the top of her head. "I'm glad you like it. Aunties, grandmother, and I put all these in place," I said and she pulled from before hugging everyone.

"Thank you all, you don't know how happy you made me, especially you, Aunty Serena..." We all looked at her, as she rubbed the pup in Serena's tummy, "On my next birthday, I will have kids in my birthday not just adults," everyone burst into laughter as Kiera was indirectly telling us that she wanted children on her birthday, we know no one here, so getting kids to celebrate with her was a bit difficult or maybe, next time, we could ask pack members to bring their kids here.

"Sure baby, all your aunties are mandated to produce two kids each for you, so you have like ten kids on your next birthday,"

"I want fifty and from you too," she pointed at me, and I covered my face before her voice came up, "I could tell Daddy Keith to let an alpha command on you all,"

"Why not daddy Harris?" Clair said she moved her gaze to Clair.

"Daddy Harris is not as stubborn and ruthless as daddy..."

"Who is ruthless?" We heard that strong deep baritone voice, and our gaze snapped to the door that cracked open

"Who else, if not you," Diamond slapped the back of Keith but we heard a loud growl, "...Mate..." His eyes dilated as his gaze moved to me, for a second my breath stopped, who could he be mated to, when a voice came from behind me.

"Mine..." She growls before she bites her lips to stop her words but they are out, Diamond takes two big strides and in a blink, he is beside me pulling the hand of the female beside me.
