Chapter 140 - Boyfriends, You Are Already... Mine - Feddos

Chapter 140 - Boyfriends, You Are Already... Mine - Feddos
Luisa

"Arrogant," I said. We laughed as I got off the table. "We should get back to the party."

"That's true." I saw him adjust his crotch and blushed again. "Yeah, Black-haired, you have no idea what you do to me." This guy had no filter. He took my hand, and we left.

"Was that sound from your phone a notification or something?"

"Yes." He laughed again. "And it's not a phone; it's my watch. It alerted me that a certain Black-haired girl was getting worked up. I have Mrs. Veronica's, yours, and Ines's. Miguel has Mrs. Veronica's, Isaac's, and Diana and Ines's." I had no idea why, but hearing that excited me. It meant he cared.

"You mean a lot to me."

He hugged me and kissed my forehead. His scent, his aroma, gave me peace. His cologne was delicious. Now I understood Veronica when she sprayed Roland's cologne on her shirt to sleep.

"Get used to me. I don't want you shaking so much."

"We've only been friends with benefits for a few minutes."

"No! We've been dating for a few minutes." I hugged him. "Always do this, always hug me."

He kissed my lips gently, and I sighed. I took my glasses out of my pocket and put them on. I looked for Veronica and saw her dancing with Juan, forcing a smile.

"Don't get jealous, but this guy is a leech."

"And Veronica, why doesn't she push him away?"

"She has. He only approached her as a friend, hasn't spoken of love. But it's obvious. Besides, he's a partner in the construction consortium. Let's say... she uses diplomacy."

I laughed. Roland must be breaking everything in sight, seeing this guy dancing with his wife again. One of the team trucks arrived at the meeting. I squeezed Simon's hands.

"I'll be right back. If they came, something happened."

"Do you want me to come with you?"

"No, it must be that my boss needs to talk to me. I left Cooper in charge. Remember, you're not involved. I'll tell you what happened once they leave. I'll be right back."

I took off my glasses, grabbed my phone, and had eighty messages from my mom's phone and ten missed calls.

"Sandoval," Cooper said. "It's important you answer." He handed me a phone.

"Hello."

"Luisa..."

"Roland?!"

"Listen to me. Send a team to my house in Bogotá. Put the two guards to sleep, take all the hard drives, computers, and tech equipment from the basement, the documents from the office, and the dogs."

"What are you talking about?"

"I'm fed up with not having my wife! I don't want that leech Juan so close to my wife. I'll burn the house. It's the only way to get Rata to send Veronica to Blanco. He'll think it's cartel retaliation. Once she's here, there won't be any problems."

"You're crazy!"

"I'm not losing my wife!"

"Your wife adores you!"

I said, agitated. This is madness! How was I supposed to look at Simon after this? My brother was insane.

"Luisa, get what I told you. As soon as you're done, let me know. I'll burn it. I've already blocked Rata's alarm system. He won't know anything until the house is burned down. I want my wife in her ranch, by my side, as soon as possible."

"Good thing you're miles away because I swear, I'd kick your ass."

"Thanks, Freckle. Put your glasses on."

"I'm not putting on anything! Your wife already went to bed. Goodbye."

"Freckle..." I threw the phone and kicked the car tire. Roland is crazy!

"Cooper."

The two men with him covered Simon's body, who hadn't stopped looking at me. All his companions were next to him. Veronica was right; they were loyal and supported each other in everything. They had a hierarchy and silent communication.

"I need you to enter Roland's house in Bogotá, put the two guards to sleep, and get in. The door is already open. Clean out the basement and the library, take everything in those two places, and the dogs. When you're done, let me know on this phone."

I took out my second phone from between my breasts and called Cooper to register the number. It had over fifty calls from my brother. I had it on silent.

"No one should know, no one." I watched them get into the truck and walked towards Simon.

"Black-haired..."

I hugged him. He had asked me to, and even though I couldn't stop it, his arms comforted me so much. He smelled wonderful.

"Can I call you sister-in-law now?"

I smiled at Miguel, Arnold, Gustavo, and the rest. Seeing it wasn't a serious problem, they left.

"Everything under control?" I nodded. I watched him walk away. "You know if you need help, you can count on me."
"Thank you. I want to beat up Roland, I don't want to lie to Simon. Tomorrow I have to go back, there are still two cartels on the coast, Barranquilla and Montería. We have to be careful, they know we're coming for them."

We spent a couple more hours together, and Verónica was the first to leave, followed by Diana, and I was the last to be escorted to the room. I kissed him again; Simon's fire overwhelmed me, igniting something I didn't know existed in my body.

"Your friends told you something. Do you know you're more important now than you were yesterday?"

"I don't want to leave tomorrow." His eyes sparkled.

"Am I to blame for that?"

"Maybe."

I gave him a peck and entered the room. My other phone beeped, and when I saw the message, my hair stood on end.

"Clean."

Once I received the message from Cooper, I sent Roland a message giving him the green light for the madness he was about to unleash.

"The bathroom is free now, sister-in-law." I smiled at Verónica. "It’s obvious, you two are more than friends now."

"That's what I'm trying for, your advice helped. Thank you."

Unexpectedly, she hugged me, and I hugged her back, mentally apologizing for the crazy husband she had.

…………

Verónica

It was past three in the morning when I got under the covers. Diana was on a mattress with Isaac's crib next to her, and Luisa was coming out of the bathroom. My friend sat down, and I noticed she was pensive.

"Is something wrong?"

I asked, exhausted. Luisa settled on the other mattress. Over the past two days, we’d developed a good rapport, and Clarisa was a lovely woman—no wonder Daniel adored her. She was short and curvy, with shoulder-length hair and a gaze full of sweetness for everyone.

Gladis had also become close to us. She was serious, and Arnold teased her about it, giving her nicknames, and when he turned away, she would smile. I didn’t know what was going on with her and Gustavo, but there was definitely something. The five of us were building a strong friendship.

"If someone tells you they want to play with you for life until death do you part, what does that mean?" She was biting her nails, and Luisa sat up, looking at me.

"I'm the oldest of the three, but it’s clear Verónica is a good advisor. I don't have experience in relationships; today I had my first kiss."

My eyes widened, and she shrugged while Diana looked down.

"You need to give us some context. I'm tired but not sleepy. I have a strange unease and anxiety."

"Ever since Miguel said that, I’ve been worse. I don’t understand it."

"And I feel like I'm on cloud nine. Simon kisses incredibly!"

"It's beautiful that Simon is the first man in your life." That was a painful topic for Diana.

"And for you, Diana. It will be too, because you chose it, you weren't forced."

"I feel lost," Luisa said. When I looked at my assistant, she sighed.

"I'm nineteen, next month I turn twenty. I was kidnapped almost two years ago, forced under drugs to be a prostitute. I lost my virginity, and I don't even remember it well."

"I'm terrified of men..." she sighed, as if debating whether to share her trauma with us. "My father tried to rape me. If it weren't for my mom who saved me that day... I tremble when a man gets too close. I panic, except for my brother and a cousin. I can't stand the rest, until Simon appeared. He brings me peace, I feel protected in his arms."

"I'm sorry," I said. "Well, I'm glad we’re sharing this much. Diana, regarding your uncertainty about Miguel's comment, I inform you that was a marriage proposal."

"He told me to play."

"Roland proposed to me under the term of creating a company. That's how he felt comfortable proposing. At first, I felt like the raw material," they laughed. "Diana, you need to analyze what you were doing when he said it." The young woman turned red.

"The truth..." She covered her face. From my bed, I saw her blushing to her ears. "I... maybe... probably... God, of course! That makes sense."

"Whatever you were playing, he liked it and wants to keep doing it until death do you part."

"How embarrassing!" I had never seen anyone turn so red, she started fanning herself.

"Is he expecting an answer?" I continued, and she nodded. "What will it be?"

"I adore that Beast." We burst into laughter.

"Be honest with him. Everything strengthens with truth, no matter how embarrassing, painful, or whatever it is. And... ask for his honesty."

"He already knows my truth."
