93. The Eagerness!
93. The Eagerness!
Author's POV
Ombre was sitting in the garden with other trainee. Watching Arthur and Oliver as they practice.
Arthur's ribbed muscles flexed with each move, the height was an advantage and the intense look in his eyes made him look more lethal.
He was smooth in his skills.
On the other hand Oliver was quick and fast as wind in his moves, he is huge in size, but that never slowed him down.
His muscles were getting prominent with each move.
"How can someone be so lucky to have them both?..."
Ombre was jealous while admiring Knights.
"Why only one person gets everything?"
"Seriously, girl... She has both of them, they are so perfect. Even I feel jealous."
The other girl agreed.
"She could have gotten one and keep other one for someone else... But no, girl had to get both of them and these guys also fell for one girl... I am burning inside."
"She was always lucky."
Ombre scowled.
"Got special place in agency when she failed mission. Got Knights with her fake innocence. And cherry on the cake, she turned out to be german mafia princess. Rancho was always somewhere fond of her and now I understand why. She is his cousin."
"What, really?"
The girl asked.
"Yes, Rancho is Egon's cousin. The distant one but they are related. So he must be aware of her true identity."
Ombre huffed.
"Nepo kid!"
"Leave it, just enjoy the scene in front of you... Man, they are so hot."
The girl sighed dramatically at brothers.
"You think they can win against Rancho?"
"I don't know, man... We can't say anything... But I hope Rancho wins. I want to see Arabella ruined in everything... Bitch always gets everything even when she is evil... She killed my friend."
Ombre was filled with hate.
"Let's see, what happens!"
Knight brothers finished their training, the separation from Arabella had set their hearts on fire. They are more intense and lethal with the burn in the heart.
"Guys, we are ready with everything."
Rosetta informed.
"I suggest not to exhaust yourself in training anymore... You have a match tomorrow."
"Where is the match?"
Oliver asked while pouring water bottle on his sweaty face.
"Agency! of course... If you are challenging his position then it would be in his place... We will handle it, don't worry. I'll make sure he doesn't take any advantage of it."
She assured.
"Did you hear anything about Arabella?"
She asked hesitantly, not sure if they are ready for the conversation.
"Yes, many things!"
Arthur was deadly serious.
"Get back to work."
He walked away.
"Is he okay?"
Rosetta asked Oliver.
"Not until he sees Arabella."
He sighed.
"Let's get over this."
On the other hand, Rancho was relaxing in his house.
"You look too calm for the situation."
Borlo asked, not so pleased with the situation.
"Of course because I am already a winner."
He smiled proudly.
"Egon has Knight's weakness, they won't be able to focus. And I don't even have to trick them into anything... Even if I loose, Egon will kill them because they are his rivals... And if that doesn't happen then my assasins will kill them... Things are sorted. I am just waiting for them to loose, everyone will see what happens when they challenge the master."
Borlo shook his head disappointed.
"Fighting ground is ready... You have a match tomorrow in the early morning... We will start when sun rises."
"I am more than ready!"
He dismissed him.
Arabella was standing in the garden, looking at piled up skeletons.
"What does this mean?"
She asked, realising Egon is standing behind her.
He stayed silent, his eyes paused on the pile but no words came out.
"Was this revenge?"
She asked again.
"Is Emerald now between these skeletons?"
"We are leaving for the match... Journey will be long, wear something comfortable... I am waiting for you in the yatch."
He informed and walked out in his dark, devilish aura.
There wasn't even a bit of hesitancy in his body.
Arabella was still thinking what happened to Emerald. She went inside to change her clothes in comfortable trousers and peacked inside every possible room to check if the girl is there but no one was there. She checked basement from the tiny window and it was empty too.
"Did he really killed her?"
She shook her thoughts aside and went to the yatch.
"Done investigating?"
He smirked.
"I am your brother, you shouldn't care about any other random girl."
She looked at his grey eyes.
"Your eyes refuse to accept that she was just random girl. I am from the same field, don't use this emotion blocking trick in front of me... I am professor of this art."
He stood there silent when she gave him attitude and sat inside.
After hours of travelling they reached Rancho's agency and Arabella started looking around to find Knights. She wasn't even aware if they have arrived or not.
They entered inside the main gate and went directly towards the sitting area where everyone had taken their places. She finally saw Knights arriving in all their glory.
They were looking deadly like wounded tigers.
She has never seen them so lethal before, separation had really brought out the worse in them.
"Arthur, Oliver!"
She called them.
Both of them looked at the direction with lightning speed.
"Arabella!"
They rushed towards her, eager to hold her in their arms.
Arabella also stepped towards them but Egon held her back and Knights were blocked by guards.
"You can't enter in public because of safety measures..."
Rosetta and Skyler pulled back Knights and prevented them from creating chaos.
Arabella looked at them sadly.
"I believe in you!"
She mouthed and they calmed down. Now only way to get her was, win the match.
Everyone arrived at stadium. Rancho was standing on the other side of the ground, this time he looked serious.
The sun slowly came out with its radiance and first rays fell on the fighting ground.
Everyone held their breathes as gunshot echoed in the air and fight started.
