94. The Winner!
94. The Winner!
Author's POV
The first round of match was intense, Rancho and Knights were cut throat in the ground. Everyone was holding breathes.
Biggest shock was for Rancho, his confidence was crushed by Knights. He thought, he will finish the match in minutes and it will be over but the way Knights were fighting was ice breaking for him.
His confidence had dropped completely.
No one won first round, it was a tie but Rancho was clearly exhausted.
"How is this fair?"
Rancho complained after the first round.
"Two men against one, this is not a fair match."
"Look at this motherfucker."
Arabella gritted.
"He was completely fine when I was fighting against Knights. Now when it's his turn, he remembered that it's injustice. I wish I could have been there, I would to break his teeth."
Arthur smirked at Rancho's cribbing.
"Let's make it fair then... Only one will fight against you."
He was now aware of Rancho's strengths and skills. It was also evident that Rancho was not loyal to his daily routine. Skills doesn't work if you don't polish them enough.
Rancho felt relieved, thinking he can take down one Knight at a time but that was also tough for him.
He was panting like a dog in front of Oliver.
"What this fucker is doing?"
Egon frowned, seeing how weak Rancho has become.
"Was he not practicing enough?"
He looked at Borlo.
"No, Master! I was warning his since the beginning, he was too overconfident."
Borlo informed.
Oliver used the advance move on Rancho and Egon looked at Rose. Rose smirked at Egon and that told him that she was also Renzo's favorite. He raised his eyebrows impressed and leaned back in his chair relaxed.
Rancho was embarrassed by the end of the day as he had lost all the rounds, his students were looking at him with doubts. No one was confident by watching him. Knights had made him test dust.
"Enough!"
He growled.
"This match was not fair from your side. You two have cheated, how is this fair that two men are fighting with one man alternatively... This is not fair game."
"Come on, Rancho."
Arthur mocked.
"We expected better from you. Can't you find better reason to justify your defeat?"
Rancho scowled.
"Whatever! Get lost from my place and I don't want to see your faces again."
"Nahh! It's not that simple, Buddy."
Oliver chuckled while fixing the band around his wrist.
"You lost the match now your agency is ours and your life too."
"What rubbish?"
Rancho got restless.
"This is my father's property."
"And now it's mine."
Arthur mocked him even more.
"Show me how you take it."
Rancho laughed maniacally and troop of assassins came out the building. Big men with masked face and ninja clothes. They were on killing mission.
Arabella got up when she saw that Rancho has arranged class A officers to wash out his defeat.
"This bastard! I have to help them."
Egon grabbed her arm when she was about to run toward the ground.
"You are pregnant and everyone knows about it."
He warned.
"I can have as many as babies I want until I have my partners, leave me!"
She snapped at him.
"No!"
For some reason, Egon didn't let her go.
Knights started fighting with the troop, Rosetta and Skyler joined them. It wasn't easy to take down those fighters, they were struggling and Rancho was watching it happily. Knights needed more skilled fighters because many of their men were killed by Rancho's men.
Rose took off her arm caste and joined her sons in the ground.
Arabella was watching her people fighting without her with teary eyes.
"You thought, fighting with Rancho was the challenge? This was the match I was talking about."
Egon said.
Knights were not enough for class A fighters, it was like they were fighting multiple Arabella and Rose at the same time. They needed more fighters.
"Ombre, what are you waiting for?"
Damian scolded her, seeing she isn't doing anything.
Ombre was just watching the chaos, her heart was not letting her side with Arabella because she was still mourning for Mosa.
"Sorry, Mr. Damian but my heart doesn't agree to fight for the person who has killed my friend."
But her perception changed when she saw an assassin who was standing on the roof of the huge gate and instead of killing Knights, she was shooting Rancho's men.
Her bullets got over so she jumped in the field and Ombre's eyes widened when she removed her mask.
"Mosa?"
Ombre jumped in the field and hugged Mosa.
"You are alive! Oh my goodness!"
"Yes, I am and it's just because of Arabella. Now fight for her, it's not a story time."
Mosa broke the hug.
Ombre looked at Arabella with watery eyes and mouthed.
"I am sorry!"
Arabella smiled at her and Ombre started fighting along with Mosa for Arabella.
Sun was gone, leaving sheer darkness and Knights' win behind. Rancho was traumatized after watching his men laying dead on the field. Remaining students were with Knights as they were fed up of his tortures. He was completely Defeated by now.
"Now what, Rancho?"
Arthur mocked.
"Do you have something or someone else?"
Rancho wiped his bloody chin and looked at Egon.
"Game is not over, Knight... My Ace is still with me."
Arabella looked at Egon as he got up when Rancho called him. Arthur frowned and Rancho smirked evilly.
"Show me how you deal with this devil."
