I Truly Love You

I Truly Love You

Grant's face turned red with anger. He had nothing else to say to Jack on this matter because Jack had not invited him or the other family members except Spencer.

He had initially thought about why Jack never said anything to him, knowing how much he loved Maya. But Jack had always been stubborn and did things differently so he had ignored his behavior and told himself that they were family afterall and didn't need any special invitation. How could he have known that Jack would use that against him in this way?

Seeing the way Jack was behaving and how he ignored her scared Maya even more. This Jack was different from the one she had spoken to in the morning.

She got up from the chair and walked slowly to his side. She held his hand and said, "Jack what has come over you? Why are you now treating me like this? What about our unborn child?"

Jack stared at her angrily and pulled his hand away before moving a distance away from her to stand by Elvis' side.

Everyone turned to look at Jack, including Grant because they were eager to hear what he had to say.

Jack pointed at Maya and said, "I have found out just how sinister you are. I can't believe I trusted you and doubted my sweet Cindy.

Stop referring to that thing in your womb as my child and go and search for the father of your bastard."

Maya opened her eyes in shock as tears fell from her eyes. "What are you saying, Jack? You know well what happened between us. I know it was a mistake but this child does not have any fault in this. Why would you refer to your child as a bastard?

I don't know what Cindy may have said or done to make you change your mind but you had promised to take responsibility for this child and that was why you asked me to marry you."

Jack stared at her angrily and said, "Do not ever utter Cindy's name again with your mouth. I don't want you to soil it or drag it to your disgusting level."

Grant turned towards Jack and asked, "Are you mad? That lowlife can't even be compared to Maya and you..."

"That is enough, Dad!" Jack cut him. "Today, I will show you who the lowlife is."

Jack took out his phone and played the video where Maya spilled coffee on herself and accused Cindy.

Both Elvis and Spencer came closer to Grant to watch the video while Maya felt embarrassed. She slowly walked back as she now realized that Jack knew that Cindy did not hurt her.

Grant was really surprised that Maya could stoop so low. He turned to look at Maya after watching the video.

Maya couldn't understand how Jack got hold of the video. She knew there were cameras in the bowling house and she had paid enough money for the footage to be erased.

Did the staff deceive her and still gave the video to Jack?

Grant felt Maya had gone overboard but that did not mean Cindy was better than her.

In the end, Maya was still someone from a good family whereas Cindy was nothing but a gold digger who wanted to get rich by marrying into a good family.

Jack took his phone back when the video ended and said, "A girl who can go to the extent of harming herself and even bribing the staff to delete the video footage is nothing short of a lowlife.

And this is not even the only time this happened. So many times, Maya hurt herself and blamed Cindy for it and I was stupid enough to believe her.

Should I talk about when she made Cindy hit her head on the wall and pretended to be a victim? Or when she tried to hang herself just to get me in her house and make Cindy believe that something was going on between us?

This girl is nothing but a blatant and shameless liar. I am so disgusted that I ever considered her my friend."

Maya realized that Jack had discovered the truth about how she framed Cindy. She quickly went on her knees and said, "I'm sorry, Jack.

Please forgive me. I admit that I wronged Cindy but it was all because of my love for you. I just wanted to be with you. I shouldn't have done what I did but it has already happened.

If you want, I can go to Cindy and apologize for everything. I didn't mean to do those things to her.

But, it doesn't change the fact that I am carrying your child. Please, for the sake of this child, give me another chance. Let's go on with the wedding so this child can have an identity. I truly love you, Jack."
