Grant walked towards Jack, tapped his shoulder lightly, and said, "Listen to me, my son. I know that Maya may have gone a little overboard but try and understand where she is coming from.

Most times young people make a lot of mistakes because of love and that's the case with Maya. Since she is even willing to apologize to Cindy, let it go. Your focus right now should be on your child.

You both have to come together to raise this child together. You know better how it feels when a child has to grow up without one of his parents. It's very difficult.

Jack smiled and walked close to Maya who was still kneeling. He looked down at her and said, "Get up."

Maya quickly got up from the ground. Seeing that his expression had softened, her heart began to beat very fast. If what Jack wanted was for her to kneel and beg Cindy, she was going to do it.

However, the moment she got married to Jack, she would deal with Cindy so much that Cindy would regret ever coming into this world.

"If you love me that much Maya, why the hell are you trying to pin another man's pregnancy on me?"

Maya opened her eyes once again in surprise as she suddenly found it difficult to breathe. How could Jack be sure that this child is not his when he had been completely drunk on that day?

It may be that Jack was just pretending to see her reaction. She decided to insist that he was the father. If she kept her story straight and with Grant's support, she was confident that Jack would accept her in the end.

Grant looked at Jack and began to wonder. Jack seemed convinced that Maya wasn't carrying his child. Was he deliberately rejecting them because of Cindy? Or could it be someone else's child?

Jack stared at Grant and scoffed "You keep saying that this child is my own. How can you be so sure?"

"How can you be sure it's not your child?" Grant asked Jack.

"I know it is not my child because I wasn't in a condition to have sex with anyone. Talk more of impregnating her.

You do remember that a few years ago when I suffered from insomnia, I began taking pills that affected my ability to function sexually.

I told you guys about it so I'm sure you all remember as well."

Elvis nodded his head and said, " Yes Jack, I remember."

Spencer also nodded his head and Jack looked at Grant and waited for him to also speak. He said, "Yes Jack, I remember as well."

"Thank you," Jack said. He looked at Maya.
"The day you came with those drinks, I excused myself and went into the room. Do you know what I went to do?

I went to take some Benzo pills. So tell me, Maya, how could I have gotten you pregnant when I wasn't even capable of having sex at that time?"

Grant looked at Maya in shock. He was well aware of what those pills did to Jack whenever he took them in the past. If Jack had taken them, then it meant, Maya was lying.

Jack smiled at both Maya and Grant. "Well, since Maya won't admit the truth, I am left with no other option."

Jack took out his phone and played the video he had played for Cindy a few weeks back.

All the family members gathered to watch it including the ladies present. They were all in shock as they watched Maya take Jack into the room and began to take off his clothes.

Jack took the phone from Grant's hands just before Maya took off his briefs and said, "I'm sure you can all guess what happened next.

I would like to know who the father of your child is and it would be in your best interest to tell me the truth otherwise, I will upload this video on Twitter and let the whole world see just how shameless you can be."

"Please, don't do that," Maya begged. "Jack please, for the sake of our friendship in the past please let me go."

"I have no desire to keep you any longer than necessary Maya," Jack replied. "Answer my question first and leave after that."

Grant who was still in shock folded his arms and watched Maya as she began to explain, saying, "When I couldn't get you to sleep with me Jack, I went to the hospital and found a sperm donor.

I don't know who the father is because I decided that we shouldn't know each other back then. I didn't want to risk him trying to get close to the child after it was born. I did all this because I wanted you to marry me, Jack."

"How could you stoop so low Maya?" Grant asked when he finally got over his shock.

But, Jack replied, "How couldn't she?

Someone who could plan with a doctor to falsify her father's test result because she wanted to use his sickness as an excuse to get close to me."

Grant turned to look at Maya again as he opened his mouth in surprise this time around. Maya couldn't understand how Jack suddenly came to know all her secrets.

She watched as Jack explained to the family how she paid her father's doctor to inform him that he was dying and didn't have a long time left to live.

She knew that she couldn't stay anymore and ran out of the house.
