CHAPTER 29
The maid stormed into Bianca's room and got to her knees. "My lady, I got the news that Lena left the palace, and Alpha had sent out his men to go after her. No one anticipated this, but why would she leave her son so early?"
Bianca grinned. She didn't see that coming. "Was that their deal? That she would leave after conceiving the child?" she laughed and got seated-her legs crossed. "Shouldn't we be happy that she escaped? Just yesterday, I almost committed suicide because of her return." she clapped her hands. "I just hope she isn't found…"
"She would be found soon-" the maid drew her attention, causing her to grimace. "I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings, but I've worked for Alpha Don even before he married his deceased Luna, and his men are all competent. So long as the mafias are concerned, they will find her."
Bianca squeezed the bed cover. The maid was right-she was just foolish to believe that Lena wouldn't be found.
"Now, what do I do? This is a good opportunity to get rid of her and be sure of that since she played me the last time. At least, now, none of her maids will be by her side to guard her." She stood up and folded her hands. "Something should be done. I can't stand having her return here again." her jaw tightened.
The other maid came forward to her and bowed. "You can get rid of her through the rogues…"
Her eyes widened. "Through what? How do I get in contact with them without implicating myself?" she snorted. "I don't think it…."
"It will do perfectly because going through gangs now would waste lots of time. Those rogues are so effective and will find her before the Alpha's guards enter wherever she is now." the maid exhaled and continued. "All you have to do is to write your offer and shoot it into the woods, and they will find it."
Bianca stepped back. She was astounded by the sort of maid she had. Recalling how Evelyn offered her help so easily and betrayed her later on is one scary thing.
"Forget it! I will do it my way….." she frowned and backed the maid. "But, I can't sit back and watch all these take place. I'm also certain that Evelyn won't sit back, too. Should I just ally with her and use her this time again?" she shook her head at her thought.
The maid came closer. "My Lady, this is the only option you have right now."
Bianca turned to face her. "Why are you so eager to see her die? Weren't you supposed to be out of any plans I make?"
The maid sniffed and made a long face. "I could recall how my sister died in the fire outbreak her father set up. Why won't I want her dead? Alpha now has an heir-she's of no use any longer." She walked back to her position and clutched her arms backwards.
Bianca watched her for some time and released a loud breath. She understood how the maid must be feeling and felt this was the right time to take her revenge for the death of her sister. She could also recall the souls that were lost in the fire outbreak apart from her sister-the deceased Luna.
But, one thing she loved was the action Alpha took, although it seemed to not be enough compared to the amount of life lost in that fire outbreak.
"C'mon, let's do it-" she referred to the maid who wiped her cheek and came forward to her.
As they sat down and were calculating how it would go, a loud noise broke up in the hallway.
"Check what's going on…." Bianca ordered the other maid and resumed what she was doing. As the maid had said earlier, she would send forth the letter into the woods…. but then, the maid had sacrificed to do that so her mistress wouldn't be caught or suspected. "Who is that?" she asked the maid as she returned to the room.
The maid chuckled. "It's Evelyn and Susan…"
She jolted from the sofa. "Evelyn and Susan? What is wrong with them?" she grinned and hurried to the hallway.
To her greatest shock, Susan was beating the heck out of Evelyn.
She hurried towards them and tried to hold Susan, but a thunderous slap landed on her face, almost sending her to the floor. "What the fuck is wrong with you?" she yelled at Susan who turned to face her.
"Seriously? You think I'm insane for beating up your fellow mistress?" Susan rubbed her fist. "You two must have planned it."
Her lips dropped open. "Planned what? I've been indoors and we've not seen each other for some days now. What is it?"
"She poisoned the baby's food. How stupid of her…." Odessa chipped in. "I can imagine your fate today…."
Bianca got her back stuck to the wall. "Poison? Just today? These ladies won't let this slide." she cleared her throat and faced Susan. "Well, I know nothing about this, so I'm out…." she hurried to her door and glanced backwards, staring at Evelyn, who was spitting out blood on the floor. "They had beaten her to a pulp. This is why neither Alpha nor Lena wants them out of the palace because they can play the role so well…" She entered her room and locked it up.
The maids sat beside her as she got seated on the bed. She pulled out the ribbon used to hold her hair.
"I wanted to leave after planning this, but I think it would be fun to see the end of it-for Evelyn and Lena. I have to witness what their life will turn into before leaving. Who knows, at that time, Alpha will change his mind and retain me…" She giggled, moistening her lips. "Evelyn! You are a finished product today. Those ladies have been looking for this chance, and now you fell into their trap. It's a pity you will go to the abyss before me…."
The maid tapped her. "I will send it into the woods before Alpha returns…."
Bianca nodded firmly.
