Chapter 47 Trying to get Sophie off my mind...
Chapter 47
Julian's POV
I kept driving through the city, my mind racing and my heart pounding. The walls around me felt like they were closing in, suffocating me with the weight of the truth I was struggling to accept. Sophie… I couldn't wrap my head around the idea that she could do something so deceitful. The evidence was glaringly clear, yet my heart refused to believe it. I felt as if I were caught in a surreal nightmare, one that I couldn’t wake up from.
Our connection had been so fast as if we had known each other for years, even in such a short time.
As I navigated the familiar streets, memories of my past flooded my mind, dragging me back to the bitter moments with Victoria. History repeated itself, and I was left grappling with the painful echoes of betrayal. The feeling of déjà vu was almost suffocating, a reminder of how easily trust could unravel.
My hands clenched the steering wheel tightly, as if it were the only thing anchoring me in this tumbulous storm of emotions. I needed an escape, a way to drown out the chaos in my heart and mind. So, I drove to a luxurious club in the heart of the city. I was going to get wasted, to fuck any woman that comes my way and do anything to take my mind off Sophie.
I looked for a perfect place to park my car, my heart still racing as I stepped out into the cool night air. The club loomed ahead, its neon lights flashing in a dizzying array of colours. The bass thumped loudly from within, vibrating through my body as I made my way toward the entrance. As I pushed through the heavy doors, I was instantly enveloped by the electric atmosphere. The club was buzzing with people, laughter and shouts mingling with the music, creating a chaotic symphony that seemed to pulse with life.
I scanned the room, the haze of smoke and dim lighting, making it difficult to focus. Couples swayed on the dance floor, lost in their own worlds, while groups of friends clinked glasses at tables scattered throughout the space. I felt a twinge of envy as I watched them, a stark reminder of the connection I had once shared with Sophie. That thought made my stomach churn, and I shook my head to rid myself of it.
I made my way to the bar, signaling for a drink with a wave of my hand. The bartender, a tattooed man with a piercing gaze, quickly poured a shot of whiskey and slid it my way. I downed it in one swift motion, the burn igniting a sense of numbness that I craved. I ordered another, and then another, trying to drown out the thoughts of betrayal that clawed at the edges of my mind.
As the alcohol coursed through me, I began to feel a sense of detachment, as if I were observing my own life from a distance.
Suddenly, a group of women approached, their laughter ringing out like music. One of them, a striking woman with brown hair and a confident smile, leaned against the bar beside me. “You look like you could use some company,” she said, her voice smooth and inviting. I forced a smile, trying to welcome the distraction, but it felt hollow.
“Just trying to forget,” I replied, my tone more bitter than I intended. She raised an eyebrow, but I could see the flicker of hesitation in her eyes, my voicehad probably scared her. I didn’t want to be here, didn’t want to engage, yet part of me yearned for the fleeting connection that could momentarily lift the weight of betrayal from my shoulders.
“Why don’t we grab a drink and see where the night takes us?” she suggested, her playful tone attempting to draw me in.
“Sure,” I finally said, giving in to the moment. We moved to a table, the lights flashing around us as I tried to lose myself in the noise, the laughter, and the distractions that surrounded me.
After countless drinks, the woman stood up and came to my side, sitting on my leg as she lightly stroked my dick.
"You want us to take it deeper?" she asked, and I nodded. "Where's your car? We can do it there."
"Outside." I said the alcohol was already taking it's effects but I was still very obvious of what's happening.
She took my hand and led me outside as I pointed at my car where I parked it.
We headed there, and she opened the door to the back seat, got in, took off her clothes, lay on the couch, and gestured to me to get in. I got in and unzipped my trousers, dragging it down to my knee, then pulled off the boxer as well to the knee level.
She dipped her fingers into her pussy as she licked her lips, trying to be in control. I hate this. I should always be in control!
"Turn around." I barked, and she did as she was told immediately, her ass shooting out to me in doggy style. I thrust my dick into her asshole and she gasped, definitely not expecting that.
I kept thrusting harder, while pulling her hair. I am doing this to get Sophie out of my mind but it was no use. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw Sophie's face, her piercing, beautiful eyes, her smooth skin. I remembered the way she used to smile at me, the way her eyes sparkled when she laughed. I remembered the way she used to touch me, her gentle fingers sending shivers down my spine.
The woman beneath me started to moan as i thrust even harder, her body responding to my rough touch. But I didn't care. I wasn't doing this for her, I was doing it for myself. I was trying to prove to myself that I could move on, that I could forget about Sophie and find pleasure with someone else.
As I finally came, I felt a wave of disgust wash over me. I pulled out of her, zipped up my pants, and got out of the car. I didn't even look back at her as I walked away, leaving her to pick up the pieces of her own shattered dignity.
