CHAPTER 60

Her hands trembled at his words as she sucked in a deep breath. This was all too much as she found to be expected to put a stipp to it as well. She wasn't even entirely sure if she could do that.

It wasn't something that she understood or that she could make sense of. She felt her body tremble at the thought as she felt her eyes begin to water and she shook her head profusely.

“I can't do that .I can't just destroy the darkness. What is something that is much bigger than me and something that I don't have the power to do.” She said to him and she watched as he nodded his head at her.

“I know that And That's why I didn't want to put too much pressure on you. I wanted you to take as much time as you needed and to do it at your own pace.” He said yo her. But he didn't understand. In truth she was aware of the fact that it seemed that no one understood and that no one would. It frustrated her to no end as she found herself irritated by the very thought of it.

“That is not the point. You don't understand what is going on. I am part of the darkness. I can't be here. That is most likely the reason why he is still here. Because of me. I carry a piece of magic Inside of me and it had been a problem before.

If I continue this way I will not be able to put a stop to it but rather I will only make things worse for everybody". She said to him and she found herself pacing the floors. She felt tears well up in her eyes as she reached out to wipe them away.

She watched then as he shot up from his spot on the bed as he came over towards her . He wrapped his arms around her as he turned to look towards her with concern on his features. “Hey hoe about puiu tell me what is going on and explain it to me i am sure that There is an explanation for it all.” He said to her.

She shook her head at him in response as she pulled out the letter that she had read multiple times throughout the night. He had spent many moments begging and hoping for the words written on it not to be true and yet they were.

“Okay. This doesn't change anything. The darkness doesn't define you and we aren't going to push you away dimy because you have a flaw. We all have flaws. I have a twisted leg and a weak wolf. Have you not seen that but still I have managed to find a home and it is that we may not have much to offer to you but we could give you a home here as well”. He said to her and she guoled as she shcked in a feep breath.

She watched to believe him desperately but it was hard for her to do so at that moment. She didn't want to be the one to cause harm to him or to bring harm to anyone else for that matter. She had already hurt far too many people that she cared about and the last thing that she wanted or needed at that point in time was to hurt anyone else that she cared for. This was her battle to fight and her story. The last thing that she wanted was to pull anyone else into it. Alex was a good man and she didn't need anymore good people falling into the allure of darkness.

She let out a sigh from her lips at the very thought. "I don't want to be the reason that all of you die. I have already let too many die before because of me and I won't be the one to carry any of that guilt any longer”. She said to him girly. He let Out a sigh from his lips as he nodded his head at her in agreement.

“I know and at that Time i am also aware of the fact that you had to do it alone. You had no one at the tone but things are different now because now you have us. It won't be you twisting the world because we are going to be there for you. And we are going to be there to guide you every step of the way". He said to her and leaned towards him intently as she felt her heart flutter in her chest slightly.

She couldn't help but smile at his words. She didn't know why he was being so micr into her but he had to admit that it did feel nice. She hadn't had something like that. It's been a long time now.

“Why are you so nice to me. Why is it that where i see a monster you see a human being. Why does this keep hsppemung." she sakf yo himmand she watched as he swallowed lightly. His face was only a few inches away from her and if he moved closer he would be able to kiss her. They are the same in a way. Two broken souls that were lost in the darkness.

They both had their weights to bear and they had been turned down by the ones who had been supposed to love them the most. She knew it was a risky move and every part of her told her that she shouldn't and yet despite that she found herself leaning in towards him.

Their lips met in the middle and she felt a warmth in her stomach. She had to admit that it felt nice to get a second but then it came with a sharp pain as she felt a sense of regret. She was quick to pull away as she felt tears in her eyes.

She looked towards him with blurry vision as she struggled to find the words to say. “I can't do this. I am a murderer. I killed my luna.”
