Chapter Eighty Seven; New Beginning

Miya’s POV

The next few days, I did not sleep like a normal she wolf would, in fact, I am not even normal, I am an Alpha, and I am a female, so I naturally had to double my effort if I must supersede the expectations people had on me.

On mornings, I wake up and lead the pack to a morning walk out and routine, then I had a tour in the whole pack taking notes of everything that needed to be worked upon.

Soon, we had then gathered at the pack square.

“Alpha, are you sure about this?” The Kings maker asked with a furrowed eye Braw, he was standing still in front of me looking eagerly as if expecting me to change my mind, but I wasn’t going to do that.

I swallowed hard then answered with certainty, “Yes, I want her to be my deputy alpha, my Beta”

It would have originally been Kisha that would take her parents place and be the Beta while I will be the Alpha, together we would have lead side by side and become very powerful.

Tsk, it is tru that dreams are very far from reality when one opens his eyes, that’s exactly what happened to me.

After ruling for half a month, working closely with my pack, I was able to finally choose my Beta, Laila, she’s my cousin, a member of the pack warrior and a leader worth material, with her I can rest assured my pack would be well taken care of.

“Sister are you sure?” She stood beside me bewilderment still clear in her eyes.

“Yes Laila, I want you to be my Beta as long as you will not turn against me because trust me, I will not be so lenient in the future.”

She suddenly raised her head and look at me, I knew she understood what I was talking about.

When Kisha and Creston conspired against me to take over my throne, I wasn’t so cruel as killing them directly, I also wasn’t inconsiderate to turn them into rogues.

Instead, I gave them a more befitting punishment by reducing them to omegas and entrusting them with the responsibilities of cleaning the whole environment, alongside life in the dungeon.

At least I was kind enough to let them be visited by they’d families unlike me when I was banished and sent away to be a rogue.

“I agree, anyway, I choose to be a warrior for silver pack for a long time, it only shows my loyalty to the silver pack, now I will do all I can to ensure that my loyalty for the Silver Pack will just be doubled, I feel honored Alpha Miya”

“Awesome, now let’s carry on with the ceremony”

After the ceremony where I chose my Beta and other members of order with titles, everything got back to normal again which meant, I could finally go back to Blood Pack to sign our alliance.

But of cause this is an official excuse to go and see him.

“Miya! You finally decide to come visit me?” Xavier pouted the moment he saw me in his office and moved with an opened arms to hug me.

The corners of my lips elevated with excitement seeing that he had already missed me just like I did.

I sank into his embrace inhaling the intoxicating masculine scent that I have become so familiar with up to the extend of being addicted to it.

While I felt my shoulders really calmed and relaxed as I was still enjoying his warm embrace, he even made it more better by lifting my cheeks up and planting a light kiss on my lips.

“Wow, wow, you guys, get a room!” Someone shouted behind us and I knew it was Jason, Alpha Xavier’s Beta.

Oops, I didn’t know someone else was in his office, I tried to hide my face in his that I was sure was already red out of embarrassment just now because although we have been intimate before, no one was present, but now his friend and Beta saw us kissing.

But Xavier wasn’t willing to let go of me, instead, he kissed me even deeper biting my lips and sneaking his tongue into my mouth, I was too filled with bliss that I forgot about my embarrassment.

Only after the both of us created a distance between us did he smirk before he spoke.

“It’s only natural that he gets used to seeing us so intimate, not just him, even the whole pack since you are going to be my Luna”

“Who said something about being your Luna?”

I smacked his shoulder and pushed him. But he pulled me back into his sturdy chest.

“Oh you may not have said it, but I was sure I read the signs clearly don’t you think?”

Then he kissed me, but I just think he’s trying to distract me from the matter at hand.

Although our feelings towards each other was increasing as the day goes by, and we are so close and intimate with each other, we have not really talked about marriage or mating.

“Or am I wrong?”

“Mnm,” I nodded my head, “very wrong”

Then he kissed me again “What did you say?”

“I said, you are ….right right!”

I wanted to say wrong again because he was, but then, his head was already inching closer to mine and his lips was already protruded ready to kiss me again, I had no choice but to play the game.

“Right! You seem to know now”

“But, I am an Alpha and so are you, wouldn’t it be a big deal?”

“Not at all dear, we’ll dissolve your pack and move everybody back to Blood Pack”

“What!” I screamed already sure that smoke was already coming out of my ears, was he really that selfish? I never knew.

Then he started laughing and I became even more confused.

“Why are you laughing?” I asked him

“Your expression just now, you look like an angry rabbit I couldn’t help but laugh hahaha” I glared at him.

He soon noticed that I didn’t take the matter as lightly as he did so he gave up the laugh and looked more serious. He held my hand and brought me to seat on then he sat close to me.
