Chapter Eighty Six; Taking Back My People.

Miya’s POV

“What did you do to him?” Kisha was the first person to run to him and examine his body.

I snorted at her. “Hah! Didn’t you want to be together with him so much? Then I made it easy for you by rejecting him, you’re welcome”

“What are you saying? If it’s true then why is he the only one in pain? He’s lying down unconscious because of what? You can even stand straight on your feet and talk like this, I can’t believe you”

I also wondered why it was like that, but I couldn’t careless whatever she said, at least I got my freedom now, maybe my pain will come later, now I must enjoy the advantage of being freed from the pain of rejection isn’t it.

“Are you okay?”

It was Xavier who put his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him.

I nodded my head and enjoyed the warmth his embrace brought to my body.

“What is happening here?”

It was the kings maker and the oracle that just came in and asked the question, everyone turned around to look at him.

I was the one that sent for them, but when they came, I couldn’t help but feel very scared, I shrank back into Xavier’s embrace as if shielding behind him, Kisha also didn’t help, she kept yelling and announcing scenarios that never happened.

“Enough woman, I only asked out of curtesy, I already know what had happened here, she had rejected him and so he is suffering the after pain!”

The old man wearing long cloaca with a strange book in his hand announced confirming what I had already said to them.

“But.. but.. if that’s the case, then why is that that he is the only one in pain, he had fallen to the ground and yet she is still standing strong? I don’t believe you”

“Young woman, are you trying to say an elder like me would lie? As for why he is in so much pain, it’s because he was the one that cheated on her first and blamed her, the goddess holds him guilty and is punishing him for his act, but since he is already an Alpha, it shouldn’t be long before he wakes up, in the mean time, bring a bowl of warm water for him”

“What are you all staring at? Didn’t you hear the old man? Go and get the warm water”. She shouted to the omegas who were slowly gathering in front of the door and they all ran away to being the water.

In the meantime, while we waited for him to wake up, we went to the parlor and waited for him, other members of the pack especially the prominent once also came and I explained to the old man what happened almost a year ago.

“Things were not as it has been reported back then, I swear that I didn’t kill those children and eat their body, although I was found there.

The truth is I was framed by them Kisha and Creston, they were having an affair and wanted to get rid of me after I found out, they’ve since had eyes on my throne, I just didn’t know early enough to stop them, at the end, I only suffered the loss.”

“Yes I know”

My eyes increased in size out of shock from his stately, I was really shocked how was that possible for him to know that? Even though he’s the pack’s oracle, surely he didn’t know that I was framed right?

“In that case wise man, then why didn’t you interfere with my father’s decision back then when he punished me by making me a rogue?”

I pang of pain and annoyance rose up in my heart, if there was someone who could have spoken on my behalf and my dad would hear that person, it would have been him.

Back then, many people mentioned a good word for me, but somehow the investigation still pointed out to me so my ever strict father had to be so righteous enough to banish his daughter.

“Because the goddess didn’t reveal it to me back then my dear, besides Alpha Ashton wanted to find you and bring you back but he died in the process and couldn’t find you, Now I guess there’s another reason for that”

He turned to look at Xavier and then at our hands that were tangled together then he looked at me and I blushed knowing exactly what he meant.

“Since you are back, then are you ready to take your place now as an Alpha and lead the Silver Pack?”

Are you kidding? I’ve waited for this day my whole life, that’s my purpose in life, to lead my people, I’ve grown to be the Alpha.

“As long as it’s possible” I nodded at him and smiled, the other people in the parlor roared with excitement, I guess they were all so happy to have me back too.

“Then let’s carry on with the ritual”

Just then, Creston came in and shouted at the guards.

“Stop this!” He shouted

There were guards around us quiet alright, but they didn’t dare move, in their eyes, I Creston is no longer the Alpha so they turned to look at the Elder first.

But as people’s attention focused on Creston, no one saw Kisha sneak in behind me with a Kitchen knife until she stretched out her hand and was ready to piece me with it from behind.

“Miya!!! Shift!” Creston shouted again but I knew he was just envious of my new Aloha crown, I am no longer going to shift for him.

“Creston, you are no longer Alpha!” I shouted back before Xavier suddenly pulled me from my standing position and I fell into his embrace with my cheek on his chest”.

Then some guards immediately ran to my area and the next thing I saw was Kisha being pulled by two men, a knife was on her hand. I was in a daze, everything happened so fast but I shook my head and looked directly at her.

“You!! Guards, take her to the dungeon, she dares to attack our Alpha" The order was hiven by the oracle, the guards dared not disrespect such a prominent one.

“You can’t, I am your luna!” She shouted and resisted, but no matter how much she resisted them, the guards were way more stronger than her.

“Creston, from today, you have been stripped of your position as the Alpha of Silver Pack”. The Kings maker said then turned towards me and said.

"Alpha Miya Ashton of Silver pack, the daughter of the former Alpha Ashton, do you pledge to put the affairs of the Silver Pack of great importance to you this bery day and henceforth?"

"Yes Kingsmasker, I do" I replied with my rught hand suspended in the air to show my sincereity.

"Then, I pronounce you as the Alpha of Silver Pack, may you live long and lead with wisdom. You may choose the judgement suitable for ghe former Creston, the choice is yours Alpha.
