Chapter 87 Goddess, Help me

Chapter 87 Goddess, Help me
Bella’s POV.
I don’t know what happened.

One second I was fighting, calling to John for help and the next I was locked inside of a small cage…

My wrist was bound by chains and my one ankle locked up, attached to the concrete wall.

I couldn’t feel Tundra. Her presence was completely blank in my mind.

Her strength went along with her…

“Finally awake?” The one person I didn’t want to ever hear or see again said, making my skin crawl with disgust.

“You,” I spat, my entire body shook with pure rage, “what is wrong with you, you coward! I am the mother of your child and you kidnapped me from my mate ON the night of our mating ceremony? Are you fucking crazy?! Garrett, I hate you so much it hurts. You used to be a man I loved, someone I looked up to. But now? I wish you were dead!”

His eyes widened for a split second before he smirked and chuckled.

He grabbed a cigarette and lighter from his pocket, put it in his mouth and slowly lit it while he held eye contact.

“Shut. Up. Do you think I really wanted to bring you here? I did it because I own you. You belong to me and I don’t like to share what is mine. Let alone with that fucking asshole John!” He seethed, the veins in his forehead popping out as he said John's name, “I do what I want when I want. And it doesn’t concern you, so don’t ask me questions.”

He blew clouds of smoke into my cage before he laughed loudly and started to walk away, “I’ll be back soon! Don’t miss me too much!”

He laughed harder after he said that, as if he was enjoying watching me locked away in a small cage, basically torture…

I tried to call out to Tundra but she wasn’t there. I couldn’t feel her anywhere in my soul.

I groaned out loud to myself, placing my head against the wall as I tried to think of a way out of here.

Without Tundra I’ll never be able to escape, I’m not even sure if I’d be able to use any of my powers without her presence in my soul.

Would John find me?

Where was I even?

So many questions were circling in my head along with so many emotions I couldn’t even begin to comprehend.

Fear, confusion, anger. Loneliness.

John would come, right? He had to…

I think… my life depended on his rescue.

“What’s wrong, Bella?” A mocking voice called out from the shadows, a voice I recognized instantly.

“Rose,” I breathed out, knowing she was behind all of this.

“Yes,” she said while clicking her tongue, “it’s me. The one and only.”

She picked at her nails while looking at me with amusement.

“Look at you. All sad and alone. Right where you belong! If it wasn’t for you we would’ve had that pack under the palm of our hand and I could’ve used the magic surrounding the lands to do my spell!” She lashed out, her eyes flashing red before she masked it quickly.

My eyes widened slightly as I looked closer at her…

The faint energy pulsing around her, the way her teeth sharpened ever so slightly before going back to normal.

“You… are a hybrid. You are a vampire, and a witch,” I whispered, not wanting to believe it.

How could it even be possible? Hybrids don’t exist. It just  doesn’t work like that.

She laughed loudly, clutching her belly before she stopped closer to my cell, her fingers running along the mettle bars.

“I’m not just a regular witch. I’m a dark witch. With the most powerful magic in the land. And once I get the pack territory in my hands… all of the magic around will be sucked into my body. Giving me the power I need to resurrect my true love,” she whispered the last part into my cell, making me gasp in shock.

This is all a game to her. She planned on wiping everyone out just so she could get what she wanted.

“I won’t let you do that, Rose. You won’t win,” I said, trying to sound strong but knowing I was no match for her with Tundra.

She laughed again, her eyes twinkling as she stared at me with a wide smile.

“Who are you to make any demands right now? Look at you! The poor thing, locked away, stripped of any little power you had. I almost pity you. But again, you almost ruined my plans. That has consequences. Big, big consequences,” she said through clenched teeth, her mouth opening to talk more when the sounds of footsteps along with the scent of Garrett came into the dungeon.

“Rose? Are you down here?” His voice called out, Rose’s eyes widening in panic before she smirked.

She gasped and screamed, clutching her stomach as she pushed herself down to the ground.

Garrett came running through quickly, rushing to Rose’s side while looking at me accusingly.

“You! You did this! You’ll fucking pay!” He screamed while marching towards me.

“Our pup! Garrett! Make sure our pup is okay, she- she scared me! She told me she’d kill me! And then- and then she tried to grab me through the bars! Garrett…” she rambled on while sobbing, Garrett falling right into her trap like the idiot he has always been.

“Shh, it’s okay! I’m here now and she’ll pay!” He muttered to her while glaring towards me, my heart beating rapidly in my chest at the look on his face.

Pure rage.

I’ve never seen him so angry before.

Does he truly care about her that much more than he ever cared about me…

“Get the torture tools. Especially the silver tipped whip. That will be the most fun,” Garett said to a guard at the end of the hall, a wicked grin on his face.

“No… please, no. I already can’t feel my wolf, she’ll never be able to recover if you whip me with silver. Please, Garrett. I used to be your mate-,” before I could say anything else he cut me off loudly.

“Silence! You still are my mate! Now shut up. I will do as I please. And you deserve to be punished, now kneel and wait for me to allow you back up!” He screamed into my cell, his belt loosening before he tossed it to the side.

My eyes water as I imagine what he’s about to do to me down here. Where I cannot fight back.
