Anthony P.O.V
Anthony was enjoying himself with friends and family, with the royal parents actively encouraging their daughters to engage with him, hoping for a future queen. Anthony wouldn’t consider any female for the role of queen unless she proved her gentleness with omegas and children, and her competence in castle administration for the future. Kathy was the only woman Anthony saw for him, appreciating her egalitarian nature and her talent in the kitchen. He also knows his parents visit Kathy’s house to play with the grandkids, and he longs to do the same before time runs out. A burning sensation spread from the spot where the vampire had injected him, causing Anthony to instinctively rub his neck. He’d been guzzling icy water, hoping to beat the heat, but the sweat still clung to his skin, yet he maintained his regal demeanor, engaging with young women, some of whom seemed intent on getting much closer. Sensing his son’s discomfort, Lord Francis went to Anthony and drew him away to a quieter spot.
“Anthony, are you okay?”
“My body is burning up,”
“You look white as a sheet, you need to go land down. Don’t worry about the royal your mom and I can handle this. I already told the omega’s taking your gifts into your room.”
“Thanks, father,”
Anthony starts to walk back inside of the kingdom, like his body is really hot, probably a cold shower can cool him down. Just walking upstairs instead of going into his new room he went into the room that him and Kathy used to lived with their children. It’s was locked, somehow it’s unlocked itself as he open the door to walk inside someone warp their arms around his waist. He didn’t like that feeling he turn around and push the woman on the ground as Max came forward and show his canines.
“Don’t you ever touch me again. Do I make myself clear?”
“Yes, alpha,”
“Now LEAVE!”
The woman scrambled to her feet with such haste that she nearly lost her balance again, just as the door swung shut behind Anthony upon his entry into the room. Something felt deeply wrong as she entered their bedroom, he fingers clinging to the wall while he is unbuttoned his regal garments. Overwhelmed by the heat, he fought to stay conscious, feeling just as drained as before. Anthony stumbled into the bathroom, bypassing the light switch and immediately turning on the shower, hoping the cool water would finally lower his body temperature.
Kathy P.O.V
Finally made home, Kathy parked her car as she saw someone is waiting for her on her pouch with her father as she exit out of the car and closed the door to walk up to them. She felt this very sharp hurt in her chest, she shouldn’t feel that pain as unknown woman came up to her.
“Are you okay, Kathy?”
“Yes. Who are you?”
“Queen Raine send me, by the way my name is Miku, we should be going,”
“Alright,”
With a soft hum, Miku opened the portal, and Kathy, catching her father’s approving look, stepped through the shimmering entrance after Miku, the portal winking shut behind them. That pain that Kathy felt it’s wasn’t right but she can’t go back now, they made it, it’s feel dark and cold like there is no sunshine not coming from the sky, Kathy felt a very strong power that cover the whole area. Queen Raine did say that, Kathy can’t used her power once she enter into the building, Miku starts to walk, Kathy wasn’t paying attention, as she turn around she sees Miku walking head of her quickly she follow her, as they enter into the barrier. Kathy felt little weak like everything been drain from her body, the high powerful witch must keep no magic of anything coming in this building. Miku put in her code and eye scan as the door opens. Kathy follows behind her, the place feel cold, dark, the wall look like they all been rust as they keep walking the light wasn’t bright but enough that you can walked down the hall. It’s weird that Miku didn’t sign in at the front desk to keep records for coming, plus there was no one in the front either.
“Miku how far is Maria cell?”
“Without her turning around “It’s not far,”
Once again Miku had to put in her code and scan her eyes and the metal door open as they walked into the door as she open the door. Kathy went inside, she felt someone kicked her hard in the back as she went fly the room and landing on the floor. She got the wind knocked out of her, Kathy turn her head to see Miku standing there with the door closed. Kathy tries to get off the ground but someone kicked her in the stomach, making her roll on her back. Once again that pain in her chest returns, she look over to see Maria and someone else standing by her side. Miku transform into a man with red eyes and fangs.
“It’s you. I told you Maria lies to you but you be by her side again,”
“You was easy to trick. Oh one more things before I forget your mate Anthony is slowly turn into a vampire,”
“Bullshit vampire blood and Lycan or werewolf DNA don’t mix unless it’s life or death,”
“You see, I can easy turn you but I don’t think your body can handle it. You must feeling his pain, right,”
Kathy’s mind raced, dismissing the thought as impossible since the Moon Goddess had severed their mate bond, yet she couldn’t shake the strange sensation of his pain. Kathy rose from the ground, clutching her aching stomach, and prepared to lunge at the vampire, but he was faster, his hand snaking out to grip her throat and press her against the wall, his fingers tightening. She struggled against his grip, but he tightened his hold, his fingers digging into her neck until she felt darkness closing in. Maria stopped him, releasing Kathy’s neck as the girl tumbled to the ground, gasping for air.
A chilling realization dawned on Kathy: she was in grave danger and urgently required a plan to escape from this place and return to her world before she is struck here forever.
