Seth P.O.V
Seth went back into the house where Grace was playing with the babies until Queen Raine came to visit, looking around for Kathy. Grace came over to her. 
“Queen Raine are you looking for Kathy?” 
“Yes, I am. I was going to take her to see Maria. Where did she go?” 
“Yes, there was a young lady name Miku took her to see Maria on your request,” 
“I don’t know any name by Miku. I didn’t request anyone to take Kathy there,” 
Grace dropped glasses plate on the floor and look at Seth. Before Seth can say something, someone knocked on the door one of the nanny, open the door and his whom that he sign to watch over Anthony came inside and went over to him. 
“My lord, I bring grim news regarding Prince Anthony.” 
“Speak,” said Seth
An omega found Prince Anthony in the shower, his body wracked by fever and pain, the water running continuously. He wasn’t injured, though he kept rubbing his neck as if in pain. My Lord, a closer look reveals a black vein spreading from his neck downwards. The guard announced, “King Frances believes Prince Anthony was poisoned.”
Zack came in by using the dining-room door to come inside, to see Queen Raine with everyone else there.
“Everything is a trap set up by Maria and the vampire,” 
“How did you know?” 
“Kathy has me to keep an eye on the vampire and his men. However, I notice that I didn’t see their leader come out of the house, carefully I got closer and I saw him walking through a portal I don’t know where,” said Zack
Everyone looking at each other, nobody don’t know what to do because they are too many directions to go. The only way they can do is wait because if they tell Queen Vanessa and Lord Francis what is going on, it’s will go crazy. As the babies were playing, Melody sense something was wrong and start to cry so Grace pick her up and rubbing her back. 
“I know you miss your mommy,” 
“Honey, I think Melody sense something is wrong. It’s upset her,” 
“Why does the boys don’t sense it?” asked Zack
“Melody is a witch, so she can sense is strong then the boys,” 
In another realm, the moon goddess bracelet glow bright red, started to shake with a smile on her lips because she knows that Kathy and Anthony bond tries to reconnect, which mean they were feeling each other pain. She wants to see if Kathy has a take to become Anthony mate. 
Anthony P.O.V
In his room, the pack doctor administered the strongest painkillers, but Anthony’s  body was burning through them, leaving him in agony under his blanket. He was sweaty and curl into a ball from the pain going through his body and the black vein slowly spreading. While Miles and Sarah could only watch as their friend was in so much pain, like Anthony wants ripped his skin off his body to stop the pain. Unable to bear watching his son endure such pain, King Francis made the difficult decision to put Anthony into a temporary slumber. Permission was granted for the pack doctor to sedate Anthony and help him fall asleep.
“Everyone listen this must never leave this room. Let leave so he can get some sleep,” 
“Yes, My Lord,” 
As everyone exited the room, Lord Francis dimmed the lights while tucking Anthony in. He closed the door behind him and have two guards to stay at Anthony door to make sure nobody is not allow in there. In Anthony mind, sitting on the floor with his knee up to his chest still in the glass barrier as his wolf is too weak to even stand up. 
Kathy P.O.V
Kathy is in so much pain as Maria uses her power to smash Kathy’s body against the wall many times, lucky her bones have not broken yet. On the floor with blood running down her face, and mouth as Kathy tries to keep off the floor, the vampire steps on her hand, Kathy can feel her bone breaking, used her another hand to get his feet off her hand. 
“You are weak, you can’t even used my power. I can used mine dark magic,”
To force Kathy to face her, Maria grabbed her hair and pulled it back fiercely.
“While Anthony is in pain with the vampire blood running through his veins, slowly killing him,” 
Kathy, recall the words of the moon goddess. “I will be testing you,” Kathy thought to herself, her mind racing with the knowledge that she couldn’t let the goddess down, and that her witch or mermaid powers were off-limits. Kathy inhaled deeply, a surge of mermaid power coursing through her as her eyes blazed with light blue energy, which she unleashed to propel the vampire and Maria away from her. Kathy, feeling weak, slowly pushed herself up from the floor, knowing she desperately needed this power for her mission. As the vampire and Maria rose from the floor, they beheld Kathy, a radiant aura surrounding her and her eyes shining with a vivid, bright blue. As Maria looked at Kathy, she felt an intense power radiating from her, and upon closer inspection, saw a formidable sword clutched in Kathy’s hand. Maria vampire lover, see that too felt that power. 
“You will never get out here alive,” yelled Maria
“We have to see about that,” said Kathy
The vampire and Maria attacked, and she battled fiercely, though Anthony’s pain was a ghost she couldn’t quite shake. She forced it away just as the structure lurched violently, and chunks of it began to fall, narrowly avoiding them. Kathy continued her struggle with Maria, oblivious to the vampire lurking behind her, his claw raised for an imminent strike. Kathy very quickly swirls around and cuts his head off his body as he dropped on the ground and blood flow out on the ground. It’s making Maria angry even more and her eyes turn black. 
“I am going to kill you,” yelled Maria 
With little power Kathy has to stop Maria, she turns around and threw her sword into her chest straight into her heart, to see the shock on Maria as she felt onto the ground and coughing up blood. Kathy used her foot to roll Maria over onto her back with the sword in her chest. Maria smiles with blood running down the corner of her mouth. 
“You think you can save Anthony?”
“What do you mean?”
“The vampire you just killed gave Anthony his blood, and you’ll never know who Melody’s father is,” 
“Maria, you don’t understand. I’ll help Anthony until my last breath. As for Melody, Anthony and I are the only parents she’ll ever know. She will be raised by good people, with two brothers who will always protect her,” said Kathy.
“You stole everything from me—my future, my place at Anthony’s side, the life that should have belonged to me. I was meant to be his mate, not you. But I made sure you would never have all of him. I gave myself to his brother, to his father, and even to a vampire whose name you will never know,” 
Furious, Kathy drove the sword deeper into Maria’s heart and listened as Maria took her final breath. The building continued to collapse around her. Kathy pulled the sword free, blood dripping from its tip, and to make sure Maria would never rise again, she cut off her head. The floor split open beneath her. Still weak, Kathy knew she had to escape. She hurried to the door, but it was locked. With nowhere else to go, she raised her hand, blasted it open, and ran down the hall. Struggling to remember the way out, she turned and saw a black void rushing toward her. She blasted through door after door until she reached the front entrance. Gathering the last of her strength, she formed a large ball of energy and hurled it at the door. She made it outside, but the black void kept coming. As her witch power slowly returned, she opened a portal and, without looking back, leapt through it.
