Chapter 51 Mr. Lewis Couldn't Satisfy Me

Thinking about Queenie's words, Austin didn't know what to say. He thought, "This woman has no shame! How did I not notice how articulate she is? She talks about such intimate topics without blushing. How many times has she practiced this over the years?" As Austin thought about this, he felt like his heart was being stabbed, and his face turned pale.

Sensing the danger, Queenie instinctively raised her hand and said, "Austin, don't hit anyone in public."

Austin laughed angrily, thinking, "Do I really look so violent?" He coldly snorted, "Queenie, even if you were to accept me compensating you with my body, I couldn't do it."

Queenie was not discouraged. "Mr. Lewis, I think you did a good job that night five years ago."

"Queenie, how dare you bring up that night?"

"Mr. Lewis, I don't think you're energetic anymore." Queenie crossed her arms and lightly tapped her arm with her fingers. She sneered, "Even if you wanted to compensate me with your body, I wouldn't accept it. You probably couldn't satisfy me anyway."

Austin froze.

Before he could speak, Queenie deliberately approached him and carefully observed him. "Mr. Lewis, I have repeatedly told you that your health is not good. You often have headaches, sleep poorly, and you have dark circles under your eyes. If your physical condition remains like this, you will die early."

"Queenie, you dare to say that again?"

"I am a doctor, I speak the truth. Don't get angry." Queenie raised an eyebrow and said, "Mr. Lewis, you don't have to admire me, and you don't have to be curious about how I suddenly became a medical genius. But I’ll tell you this, meeting me is your lucky chance. If I'm in a good mood, I might consider helping you with your illness."

Austin remained silent.

Ding! The elevator door opened.

Austin flashed a sinister smile. "Are you done talking?"

Queenie blinked, feeling scared.

"If you're done, you can leave now." Austin pushed her out of the elevator, and he went back upstairs.

Queenie snorted coldly. She muttered, "I'm leaving. Do you think I want to see the Lewis family? If it weren't for Grandpa's concern, I wouldn't have come here."

She thought, ’I'm finally leaving Austin. He is a demon. I can't believe I wasted three years with him not being able to give me the happiness of being his wife. He should compensate me with money.’

…

Austin asked himself, "Happiness?" Queenie made her point very clear. "Happiness. I don't need you to compensate me with your body. $40 million is the discounted price, and it's a good deal."

Today, in front of the Lewis family, she proposed divorce and he was humiliated. Austin couldn't refuse anymore.

It was right to ask for $40 million in public. Grandma liked her and she wouldn't be unreasonable. Moreover, the elders of the Lewis family did not like her, especially Aunt Cathy and Aunt Brenda. They were always on guard against her every day, afraid that Grandpa and Grandma would give her everything belonging to the Lewis family. They should hope that she would leave the Lewis family quickly after taking $40 million.

…

Queenie was in a good mood. She hummed a song while heading back home, even buying fried chicken for her two children. She thought, ’Today is wonderful. I easily earned $1 million.’

As soon as she entered the house, Queenie felt something was wrong. Chloe wasn't home. Ariel was sitting on the couch watching TV. She rubbed her eyes and looked tired.

"Wendy!"

Queenie's heart skipped a beat. She put down her things and ran over to hug Ariel. "What's wrong? Are you not feeling well? Are you tired?"

Ariel felt weak. Tomorrow was the day for her blood transfusion, and she looked pale.

Queenie checked on Ariel while furrowing her brow.

Roy was busy in the room. He heard the sound and quickly came out.

"Mommy." Roy saw Queenie checking on Ariel and felt nervous, afraid that Queenie would find something wrong. "Mommy, you finally came back."

Roy intentionally bumped into Queenie, interrupting her. "Why didn't you call and tell me Aunt Chloe wasn't home?" He innocently said, "I sent you a message, but you didn't reply."

"Is that so?"

Queenie hurriedly took out her phone from her bag. She had several missed calls and unread messages. She didn't hear her phone ring.

Chloe was notified last minute of a meeting and sent Queenie a message an hour ago.

Queenie took a deep breath. She felt like she wasn't a good mother.

"Sorry, baby. My phone might have some issues. I came back late." Queenie wiped Ariel's face. "I bought your favorite fried chicken. Do you want to eat it?"

After the check-up, Queenie realized her daughter was weak. But she hadn't noticed Wendy's condition before. She thought, ’Could it be that Wendy is not suitable for the climate in Imperick? These days, I have been too busy and avoiding Austin. I have paid too little attention to the two children.’

Ariel mumbled, "I'm sleepy."

"Alright, I'll take you to shower and then accompany you to sleep."

Roy quickly stepped forward and said, "Mommy, after you guys shower, let me accompany Wendy to sleep."

"Wendy didn't seem energetic. What did you guys do today?" Queenie was very concerned. She was considering whether or not to take Wendy to the hospital tomorrow. She could only determine that Wendy was weak, but she didn't know what caused her weakness.

Roy looked at Queenie as if she was a fool. "Mommy, do you know what time it is now? You're used to a rich nightlife. Wendy and I are kids, we should sleep before nine."

Queenie didn't know what to say. She instinctively looked up at the clock on the wall. It was ten o'clock. She thought, 'Roy is right. It's already ten o'clock. The kids must be tired.'

Queenie finished giving Ariel a bath, and Roy took her back to her room.

Ariel felt very tired, and Roy held her in his arms. "Ariel, don't be afraid. I will figure out a way to get you back home. You just need to finish the blood transfusion tomorrow."

"I don't want to leave Mommy." Although Ariel didn't like to talk, she relied heavily on Queenie.

When Ariel was with Austin, neither of them liked to talk. Ariel found it boring. Queenie was different from Austin. When Ariel wasn't feeling well, Queenie was nervous and worried. Ariel could feel Queenie's care for her. Ariel longed for this kind of care.

Austin was good at hiding his emotions, but not good at expressing them. He didn't know how to dote on his daughter.

Although Austin loved Ariel, Ariel didn't like his way of showing it.

Roy comforted Ariel and said, "When you're better, I'll bring you over."

"Does Wendy want to stay with Dad? Am I being selfish?"

"Why would you think that? Who doesn't want to be with Mommy?" Roy said, "Wendy likes to eat. She's having a great time with the Lewis family. Don't worry."

After hearing Roy's words, Ariel felt relieved. She wasn't as likable as Wendy. She was also afraid that Queenie wouldn't like her. But the result surprised her.

After Ariel fell asleep, Roy contacted Wendy.

By this time, Wendy had already eaten and been sent to her room to rest. She let out a burp. She thought, 'I still wanted to watch another episode of the cartoon. Why hasn't Austin returned yet? I'm so happy alone in this big mansion!'

She pretended to be asleep, and the nanny left her room. At this moment, she received a message from Roy. Wendy immediately got up to call Roy. It was the first time the two children had been apart for so long, and they had a lot to say.

"Roy!" It was late at night. Wendy missed Roy a lot.

"Wendy, is there someone beside you?"

"No. Austin hasn't come back yet," Wendy said, feeling bored. "Roy, there's a lot of delicious food here, but I can't give it to you and Ariel. I feel so lonely by myself, and I've lost my appetite."

At first, she found it interesting, but after a while, she felt bored.

"What? Austin still hasn't come home?"

"Yes."

"Where did he go?"

"I heard that Nora got into a car accident."

During dinner, Wendy expressed her longing for Austin, which the nanny then relayed to her.

Roy was angry. "Doesn't he know that Ariel is going to have a blood transfusion tomorrow? How can he still be in the mood to accompany his mistress? Scumbag!"

"Wendy, quickly call him and ask him to come home."

Roy thought, 'No wonder he hasn't been replying to my emails. He's been spending time with his mistress. How can he neglect his work for her? How could he do this?'
