CHAPTER SIXTY ONE
CHAPTER SIXTY ONE
Aria's POV
I wouldn't believe in my widest dreams that I would find so much comfort in the hands of Kael. I hadn't felt so satisfied and pumped back to life like I did immediately after the sex.
The fact that he let me take control of him, without leading made me feel more confident with myself. I couldn't help but acknowledge that the way he allowed me to have him however I wanted wasn't something I had longed for in years.
Kael was wearing a smug on his face since we were done having our moment. I knew he had a good time too.
I smacked him on his chest and stood up after the nonsense he spilled from his mouth.
He bet believe he wouldn't be having me like some cheap girl and I was using him for myself as well. As long as it felt good for me afterwards, I'm happy I had it with him, no matter what he might think.
I looked around the floor as I stood still. I couldn't believe all that the little moment we spent together added to the already existing mess. “Oh Fuck! This will take me the whole world to clean. We need to get this cleaned up faster.”
I didn't even know where to start from if I wanted to really clean up everywhere.
Linda’s dresses were clearly gone because there was no way in the world that the stains from the cum would not affect her dress, by leaving a mark.
“I need to throw these dresses out else I'd be dead when she's back,” I added.
Kael laid still on the chair, watching me as I fret over how messy everywhere was.
I knew he was aware that I was more concerned of the spill that was all over the floor and the dresses than the mess itself, because I didn't want us to get caught.
“I'd call the home cleaners now to come and clean up the mess we made,” Kael said unbothered. He stood up and walked over to the table where his jacket laid and immediately took out his phone to dial the number.
“Uhmm… no.” I cut him in. “I don't think that's right for them to come into the house and meet everywhere filled with spill of cum and all those dresses. Wouldn't it be so strange and absurd. I mean, they could even tell their friends.”
Kael laughed. “I get where you're coming from. Then we don't have to be here when they come. So get dressed now. We have work to do anyway.”
I looked at him unable to understand all he was saying but I just went upstairs nonetheless to get something to wear when I saw him speaking to an agent over the phone for the cleaning service.
“You know you don't want them to meet us here, so hurry up.” I was wearing my white pants trousers when I heard Kael yell.
I immediately brushed through my hair and tied it into a nylon before wearing a cap on it to keep it in style. I rinsed my face and gargled Listerine to rinse my mouth. I dried my face and patted it with my towel.
“Ria!” Another yell from Kael.
“I'm almost done!” I yelled back.
“They are fifteen minutes away and best believe, with the way you're moving, they will meet us in this building,” Kael added.
I hurried all that I was doing and I rushed down the stairs with my pointedly closed toes heels.
“Careful,” Kael said as he watched me run down the stairs.
“I won't. Let's get going.” I say immediately.
I never wanted those guys to meet me in the house because I would be too ashamed to look at them in the face.
As we drove out of the gate, almost leaving the estate, we found their van driving into the estate as well.
“That was close,” I said and Kael and I both laughed.
It really felt like a fulfilling moment for me.
“Do you think you're ready to face Ethan now or you want to take a break from all of this issue?” Kael asked me as he drove.
I took a deep breath and I genuinely wasn't feeling as tightened as I normally felt. “I think it's better I see him now and hear whatever truth or lie he has to say to me. I should stop living in the shadows of what I think is right or what I hope to be right.” I responded firmly.
Kael nodded, not adding or removing from whatever I had said.
We arrived at the station and I walked with my head up high as everyone stopped whatever it was that they were doing, watching me, a supposed criminal, walking into the interview room like I was some investigator.
I wasn't bothered by how keenly they stared at me anyway. I knew some of them would have doubts or think I was trying to use my power to shift blames on Ethan.
I didn't bother myself with whatever they had to say. I just had one job to do in there and it was to find out if truly Ethan had been an asshole to me or it was all a mix up.
Kael opened the door to the investigation room, letting me in first before he entered. Ethan was already seated in the room, a lady and a man, who were lie detector experts.
They had tested the machine before we got in.
“Are you set for us?” Kael asked the man, and he nodded.
Kael and I took a seat, directly in front of Ethan.
Ethan couldn't look at me in the face and I couldn't even understand why.
I let him have a moment of silence before I broke it.
“Why aren't you saying anything?” I asked Ethan.
He scoffed, “Do you really think it's wise of you to be here doing this? Is this really what we've become? You're using a lie detector on me? You simply don't trust me”
