Chapter thirty-three-So happy in love or taking everything?
Mathew Adam's Pov:
It was already night. I was sitting outside the car alone. The sky was filled with so many stars today. I felt nice. Maybe we were on the country roads that's why it felt more peaceful. The refreshing and light cold breeze made it so ethereal. Oscar, Emily, Lancelot, and Adira were already asleep I guess. Valentino was studying on his phone. He did it a lot. He was a good student.
I just wish I could tell him how I feel. But how can I? He is in love with Adira. I sighed. Everyone knew I had feelings for him. Only he was the one idiot who didn't know.
"Hey, man." A voice pulled me out of my thoughts. I looked up. It was Valentino.
"Oh, hey. Finished studying?" I asked him.
"Mhm. For now." He said chuckling. I smiled at him and gestured for him to sit beside me. He sat down and sighed deeply.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing. I am thinking of giving up." He said with a smile.
"What is the thing you are giving up?"I asked with curiosity.
"Giving up my feelings for Adira. She is Lancelot's soul mate. They even have marks on each other's bodies. I mean they love each other. I don't want to meddle in. And I just liked her not love. So, I'm gonna give up my crush." He said looking at the sky with a smile.
"Will you be okay?" I asked concerned.
"I am feeling okay. Surprisingly, very much. I feel free." He said looking at me.
I smiled at him. He smiled back and turned to look at the sky again.

I played "Kiss Me" by Ed Sheeran on my phone and sang along with it softly. Valentino joined me after a while. I leaned against his shoulder and closed my eyes listening to the song on repeat. He didn't move me. Instead, he leaned his head against mine. I smiled at his action. We both just sat there listening to the song leaning against each other under the star-filled sky.
Adira Skylar's Pov:
I was laying over Lancelot's chest playing with his fingers. He was caressing my hair softly. He would occasionally peck my forehead.
"I want so many things," he whispered. I looked up at him. "I want your mind. I want your strength. I want to be worth your time." He touched the hem of my top and he continued, "I want this up." He tugged on my pants and said, "I want these down." He touched the sides of my body. "I want to feel your skin on fire. I want to feel your heart racing next to mine and I want to know it is racing because of me. Because you want me, because you never want me to stop. I want every second. Every inch of you. I want all of it."
"You do realize that I have read 'Unravel Me' by Tahereh Mafi?" I asked with a smile. He glanced down at me.
"Way to ruin the moment." He groaned.
I sat up and said, "Thank you for telling me this. I feel appreciated when you say things like this. And of course, even if you steal lines from romance novels, I love you so much. Just know that."
He smiled at me. "So, are you letting me move this up and this down?" He asked pointing at my top and pants. "In your dreams pervert," I said pinching his arm.
"Way to ruin the moment, Adira!" Oscar said beside Lancelot. Was that guy awake all this time?
"Why aren't you asleep? Go to sleep." I scolded him. He turned towards us making me see Emily all flustered up. What were they both doing?
"We were making out. You guys didn't even realize." Oscar pointed out smirking. I scrunched my face in disgust.
"See, you should let me do that too," Lancelot whined. I glared at him.
"I told you in your dreams," I stated. Oscar and Emily chuckled. Emily sat up and looked at me. "Where are those two? " she asked. "They are outside the car. Talking with each other I guess." I replied. "Let them stay alone. They need it." Oscar told Emily. Emily nodded in understanding. She laid down again and Oscar again turned on his beast mode. I looked at them in disgust. Throwing the blanket over them that they didn't think of using, I laid down beside Lancelot again making him chuckle because of my actions. I grinned at him.
Kristopher Davies's Pov:
"Oh, look how happy they are with each other. The happiness of love. So silly! Children. Stupid children." I said looking at the scene in front of me. "They don't even realize I am watching every one of them. "I said sitting on one of the rocks some distance away from their car. Some distance away from Snow Willson. He has been acting weird. He follows them even when I don't tell him not to. He even stopped reporting to me about those guys. Seriously, what was the deal with this guy? If he stabs me in the back, I will destroy him. I can't just sit and watch my little puppet taken away from me. Now, can I?
I'm so happy just thinking about taking everything from them. I am excited to take their happiness away from them. Destroy all of them in front of their own eyes. That feels like a happy thought. And that women, we will meet soon. I smirked at my thoughts. Giving a last glance at those stupid humans, I vanished away from there.
